Q&A with Nora Corbett! 2023 Queen City Stitch Retreat

- The lovely and talented Nora Corbett, artist and designer of the Mirabilia and Nora Corbett cross stitch pattern lines, joined the attendees of the 2023 Queen City Stitch Retreat for a meet and greet and an informal Q&A session.
We owe it all to Maggi @KitschyWips and Amy @fiberartsamy2654 for organizing and running the retreat, inviting Nora to be the guest of honor, and making the entire event a huge success! Thank you Maggi, Amy and Nora for the most memorable and unforgettable experience ever!!

So glad I caught this. Thank you Nora and team. Re: pages vs 1 large - perhaps you could keep the present format for printed and offer a pdf version of pages. If the pages take off - that gives you a clue.
This was fabulous! I’m excited about her dollhouse and “mystery “ ideas.
I have seen interviews with Nora Corbett before, and this interaction was the only time I have seen her so candid about herself and her process. Nice job, Ladies. Congratulations on executing this retreat. A hearty round of applause to both of you. Hopefully, I can finish "Roses of Provence," "G Queen" and "Red" before the next retreat. Wow! Thank you , Kathryn, for uploading this Q&A! I had unfortunately missed it when I was there. Nora is such a lovely person, goodness. Her process makes me feel so blessed , the fact that it's intended for we cross-stitchers from the beginning to end. 😮

Maggi is THE BEST! She had everyone in stitches all weekend! (Pun intended, haha!). Seriously she is the most lovable and entertaining person, she was meant to host retreats!
This was interesting, although I prefer her Mother's designs. Nobody did faces as elegantly as Marilyn L-I. I have enough Lavender and Lace, Told in Garden and Butternut Road to keep me occupied for many years to come.
