okay okay, between your encouragement on Instagram and the beginning of this video, I think I'm ready to dive into fancy lady land. I only watched the first section because BOO I have to go to work but I'll be back for the kitted up projects. I just needed to say that your finishes are perfect and I GASPED when I saw Queen Bee's dress completed. It's absolutely stunning and the fabric choice was perfection. I'm sure I'll have a lot to say about your other projects but for now, thank you for this video, it came at the perfect time

I am a HUGE Nora Corbett/Mirabillia designs. I just finished the letters from Nora S, P, C and Mermaid letter S for my daughters...i was so glad they used a lot of cross over colours
I am really looking forward to starting the letters! I enjoy using overdyed threads so I think they will be lots of fun to stitch.
I've never stitched a Mira/Nora but this was inspiring! I have had my eye on Moon Glow since it was released (for many of the same reasons you articulated) and the second fabric, Haunted, I think, looks perfect! I might have to pull the trigger on that one...those waterlilies are 😍

She is GORGEOUS. Lots of block stitching, so if you enjoy that, she’s a really good pick!

Hi Alli! OMG just loved this video! Beautiful finishes! I'd use the hand painted fabric - I think it would be beautiful. I think you may lose the wings on the yellow fabric for the autumn lady. So I’ve been tempted by the fancy ladies but hesitant to start because they seemed scarily complex but this lit parade was so cozy. I’m a little intimidated by picking the right fabric (decision paralysis!) because yes the cover models don’t sell them and then everyone on social media is so creative on their choices!
Also I agree about the skin tones! I like variety in shape and colours and poses. I saved a conversion of the Baker’s Wife that I really liked as well
Happy to help with all of that! I will say too that a plainer fabric can really make the stitching shine. There’s no “wrong” answer, whether you go schmancy hand dyed or not.

They are all lovely and maybe use the gray on the Mira the haunted was intended for, her flowers would be amazing on the gray! Love it all this was so fun❤😊ville Mirabilia is always going to be my 🦄 uni! She is so gorgeous and glorious! Oh have you looked at Pol Stitches fabric for Mira’s? They are out of the country but my goodness they have some amazing fabrics! ❤back to beading!

I have never been interested in the Mira/Nora patterns, because they looked tedious; however, I did spend about two hours on 123 Stitch looking at all the patterns and I found a couple that aren't too overwhelming. I LOVE YOUR HAIR color. My granddaughter watched today as well and she liked the color too. She also loved your finishes, but she's a "newby" at cross stitching, and it will be some time before she's ready. I don't like taking on big projects, because I am a bit on the older side (ahem, I'll be 80 next April), but I sure would get your hair color if I could. I've subscribed and will be watching future episodes.

There are some patterns that really aren’t tedious at all, especially the smaller Noras. Do you have an Instagram? Would love to message you and make some suggestions if you’re open to it!
I think the Nora silhouette should be done on the green. Even though it’s quite similar to the green waterlily, if the plants blend more into the fabric she then becomes more of the focal point, you’ll still see the plants but they move more into the background rather than being a secondary focal point.

I just started my first Nora pattern Miss Spider. I had looked at sea witch but I don’t like greens, however yours looks amazing on the fabric you picked.
I believe @kitschywips is also stitching Miss Spider! Seeing her WIP has been tempting me to get her too…
@@alliziscrafty that’s who inspired me to buy miss spider lol. I had never seen her before. Nora’s and Mira’s aren’t my style typically. But I fell head over heels for miss spider.
I commented before I got to the Mira kitted section. I love Fairy Moon, sucker for moon patterns. What about like a dark blue fabric? Cathedral woods goddess is one I also love.

Hello Allie! I loved ur fabric choices which makes the entire piece more alive and fun to work on . I have a question regarding The Stargazer. I picked pinksand 32 count and I’m not happy with that choice . The dmc colors are muted as u know . Any suggestions for a conversion ? I also watch the FB Mira conversion and haven’t liked them either. I have a friend who sent me 16 mirabillas some very old and includes poppy. I didn’t know she was
