I still believe that it’s a good natured prank that Ryan Reynolds has pulled off, but he has every intention of doing everything that he can for this team!
That's the nicest thing I have ever seen a Chester fan say. With us having such a unhealthy competition and past. I used to be one of the people that believed that hooligan type of mentality. Some never grow out of it. It is such a dream come true for the town not just the supporters. The town was so lacking of any amount of opportunity I joined the army 15 yrs ago. The club was ran so far down I even fell out of love with football. Really sad. Seeing my dad who has stood by and supported the team even through the most painful of periods. Being so happy and excited is nothing but amazing. Thank you for you're kind remarks. I hope that eventually Chester have the luck we have had. I am surprised with the heritage of Chester as a city that it hasn't had someone with money to pump in. Imagine the Derby Day matches ! I no longer condone the violence in football by fans and I no longer have indoctrinated hate either. If I'm honest Chester is a beautiful city with a strong history to be proud of . Just like Wrexham has a history of its industry and it's massive part in the industrial revolution. I wish you and your team a prosperous and good future mate 👍
I've been to Northern Wales and it's absolutely beautiful. I could see them drawing people's interest based on the team but there is a ton of beautiful and historical places to visit in that area.
Don't be silly. The amount of investment required to make it to the premier league would be 100's of millions maybe a billion. It would be fantastic and some achievement for them to even get back to league 1/2. Championship would be a dream
@@Ryan-C What about Luton / Bournemouth etc. etc. one in premier league one in championship without the supporter base of Wrexham or the financial clout
@@davidwilliams7220 it depends how long these owners stick around. Wrexham aren't even in the football league yet. this is the type of investment where the normal review process is thrown out the window. that being said the upside is so huge just for being promoted once that it worth the risk in my view
With the popularity and heart that drove “Ted Lasso” to the top….. ”Wrexham” is sure to do the same…with its real-life stakes and diehard fans‼️ A definite must-see!!
That place just needs its workforce and economy renewed since their main trade was stopped. I think if you're a new player it's a great place to be on the spotlight while the docuseries is ongoing.

Actually, there are 5 Welsh teams playing in the English pyramid (Swansea City, Cardiff City, Newport County, Wrexham and Merthyr Town). Little fact check for you there lol.
ok, then, Americans, Canadians (though they should know better) and the Japanese (plus probably Australians 'cos they're American wannabe's) all call it soccer, but the rest of the world call it football. Have you watched the show? This team was a money pit. They had to spend £400,000 on the pitch alone, redoing it twice before it was serviceable. Not to mention the sizable sums of money for their newer players, mainly Mullin. This has been quite the investment for them. If they eventually get a decent return, and help the team and town in the process, then it sounds like a good situation where everyone wins… so what’s your problem?
As someone who isn't American or European, it's funny to always see Europeans online acting like they're so much better than everyone else, completely ignoring all the horrible stuff they did and continue to do to other countries, usually just trying to throw blame towards America when anyone calls them out on it. Then you get a show like this showing they can't even properly run a sports team and need even more help from Americans and need America to clean up their mess again LMAO

Wrexham is now a city.
There’s 5 Wales teams in the English league system.
Cardiff
Swansea
Newport
Wrexham
Merthyr town.
I honestly thought Ryan Reynolds investing in Wrexham football was an April fools joke. I'm glad I was wrong
@بنت عدن للكبار فقط nice to meet you too👍

Never thought I'd see my hometown in a WatchMojo video. Great to see how much the takeover has put us on the map.

@@Gmackematix Yes, soon to get City status

What an outstanding documentary on Wrexham and it’s such a remarkable moment for Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenny

How much of that history do you take at your corrupt governments word? 🤡🤡🤡 you’ve been lied to about everything
Wrexham made me a lot of money whenever I back them to win since Reynolds took over. I see them making it to the EPL in a couple of years.

Ouch. 😆
Met rob and his family at the game last weekend. Good lads.
Awesome love Ryan Reynolds
Same here. Ryan Reynolds is a fantastic actor and a iconic legend
Outstanding! 🦋
Relegation is generally a standard everywhere outside North America. Only in USA you get some sort of a reward for finishing at the bottom.
MY HOME TOWN!!!! 🏴
I'm gonna watch this show for two reasons: I'm a huge Ryan Reynolds fan and they've advertised the hell outta this lol
When I saw people were actually talking about Wales I was oddly surprised it's nice to see my country actually being spoken about
This is a brilliant show..they need these two in a movie now.

I thought this was going to be a fictional show about Ryan Reynolds working in this town, but a documentary is much better imo
I had the same thought as well.
I also love documentaries
Top tier genius marketing at play here
Just finished Ted Lasso yesterday and been hearing about this as well. Can't wait to watch it
Welcome to Wrexham is a great show!
FACTS!! 🔥🔥🔥
Waiting for season 2
Ryan Reynolds will probably make a couple jokes in the documentary;)
Probably a lot of Deadpool jokes.
Great video 👍🏾
Awesome channel 😍
Lots of love from Australia 🌏🖤🥰
I love their stuff.
I’m from Wrexham and as of today we are now a city!
Now I want nothing more than for my favorite premier league club, Liverpool, to face-off against Wrexham, even if it's only a friendly
Man United played them behind closed doors in a friendly a few weeks ago

Number 1: It has Ryan Reynolds. Nuff said
Oh shit TIFO Football going mainstream!
Awesome !!!
Everyone loves an underdog I suppose!
When I first heard the title, I was expecting a British sitcom with American comedians but it turns out, this is a documentary.
Love how they changed their names to Wryan Reynolds and Wrob McElhenney
3:21 Lol. Why did you show the Scottish League Cup in Hampden when you are talking about the pyramid system in England?
😂😂😂 I just noticed that

Looked at the caption of this video and thought "It must be Ryan Freakin Reynolds step 1 - 10!" 😆
It's funny, Rockford, IL has a tv station with the caller Id letters of WREX-TV Channel 13!
Love how they show a picture of the Scottish cup when they say English championship 😂😂

Relegation is common in pretty much every part of World, not just English football. Most football league systems work that way.
WatchMojo should teach Americans more about football(soccer)
Do top 10 Cristina Vee,Stephanie Sheh and Erica Mendez voice roles

Welcome to Wrexham, the English FX Club de Cuervos
You forgot to mention the brewery
You showed a league, Scottish Championship (Hampden) that is not part of the EFL.
Still so funny hearing Americans talking about and struggling to understand this small non-league football team
They are going to invest in Wrexham until it gets insanely popular and then sell it again.
Why did you show the Scottish national stadium ha
Serious the woman is confused about promotion and relegation. If this doesn’t happen in the US then how messed up is that!
She is Canadian.
Why did they show Hampden that has nothing to do with the English league it's the national stadium for Scotland
It's football, not soccer. Ask the entire world this question and it's only Americans that call it soccer.
Japanese Call It Soccer Too
Nope. We Canadians use that term as well, because we're the only countries that play 'American' football.
@@Caffeine_Club Japan Does Not Call It Football
