Me also! I think he crashed very near the end of the race too? I was also at the BOAC 1968 - that GT40 (1075) was an incredible site, watching it from Paddock Bend, coming down the pit straight, that whole car shimmered and the it's noise was quite amazing - still remember it like yesterday!!
No KP. He ran wide coming out of Bottom Bend (Graham Hill Bend) and hit the bank that protected the back road to the pits. The car and half a ton of earth went went straight upwards 30 feet. To this day, one of the scariest crashes I have seen.
Dang: them 908 Porsche’s where awesome back then! All time favorite is still the GT40!

I was at Brands that day. If I remember correctly Bonnier crashed the T70 after leaving Druids, down towards what is now Graham Hill Bend.
