Sooo good!! Those basses are tremendous. They’re not even all in the same country. Egypt, Czech Republic (I think) and USA. So talented and I love all the bass sounds along with Tim’s higher notes and of course his low notes too. Good one Adogg!🥰
I watched one of their members, Peter Barber ( he also has a reaction channel ) react to this song. You can see the stars and adoration in his eyes when he talked about Tim. Thanks for the Home Free...ish reaction.
How great was that! Love having Tim sing with the Bass Gang. Tim is the growl master but he can also sing high. I have always liked this song done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974 who both added the "ooga chaka" part. What makes this even more impressive is that none of the guys were even together. Great editing!
English is confusing, to put it mildly. Bass the way you pronounced it is a fish. Bass, as in The Bass Gang, is pronounced base. Tim Foust, and all the singers in The Bass Gang, have vocal ranges from bass to tenor. Or think of a bass drum. The Bass Gang has a lot of good material out there, some of it with other collaborators like Jonathan Young, Elliott Robinson, Colm McGinness, and Lauren Paley. They were thrilled to collaborate with Tim. It's an international group of acapella singers and they still have not all met in person. Two are Americans: Peter Barber (an operatic bass singer and YT reactor/analyst) and Bobby Bass (who is well known on Tic Tok and also belongs to another bass singer group called The Wellermen). Tomi P is Czech and lives in Central Europe. Marwan Ayman is Egyptian. He is their youngest member at 19, hence the juice box. Their covers of "Mad World", "Century", "Hide and Seek", and their latest EP of Disney covers are definitely worth checking out.
