  • The return of OOOOB!
    Before you go OOB, you have to follow Scorpion to the end of the tunnel to trigger the cutscenes at the end. Even if you're OOB when they trigger, you will spawn back in bounds afterwards.
    1:40 - Grab the wall and push against the dirt pile until you hopefully fids the sweet spot.
    If you go all the way back to the other side of the tunnel (around 2:50), you'll see that you can't climb up to the rest of the mission, as the passage is blocked by the OOB walls.
    4:20 - Backtracking to the beginning of the mission and to the entrance behind it. This place is actually located under where you enter the mission in the city map.
    4:50 - As always, you grab the wall, drop off it, charge jump while holding the grab button - this should make Spidey face the wrong side of the wall. Do a charge jump and you'll clip OOB.
    Now, this is still "regular" OOB, but you'll see that you can climb up and stand on the invisible wall. Attempting to jump a bit higher will result a softlock, as the city's map is not loaded properly.
    Crawl on the other side of the invisible wall, be careful not to softlock the game on your way down. Keep following the track until you reach the tunnel.
    7:00 - The aforementioned tunnel. You'll soon see that the camera is blocked by some textures (7:20). Mess around with the camera until you can see what's going on. Unfortunately, the contoller's camera resets once you start moving.
    This is where PC players have a huge advantage over console players, as the mouse's camera doesn't reset upon moving, making this trip possible to do.
    Once again, you're just under the softlock plane, so you can't speed up things by web-zipping or jumping. Maybe you can chain wall runs on the side of the wall, I havn't tested that myself.
    9:15 - Reaching the room as I did in 2:50, but from the other side of the invisible walls.
    The upper map is loaded without the objects and enemies inside, since I skipped the trigger from below. There are also some very few leftover objects from the first Scorpion mission.
    12:10 - I accidently got back in bounds, but manged to use this invisible wall to get OOB again.
    This is where you're supposed to depart from Scorpion and take the air vents with the lasers. There's usually a door where you grab the wall, but it only closes once Scorpion got past it.
    19:00 - After some boring exploration, I get back in bounds and enter the bos room. Rhino and Scorpion load in when you enter the room. This is really surprising, since later objectives in the mission usually require completing the previous objective and so on and so on. I'm somehow able to skip a huge chunk of the mission and still trigger the boss fight (albeit it is much slower than playing the mission as intended).
    The fight proceeds as usual.
    If you don't know, when doing the mission normally, Scorpion's health bar is displayed as a timer until you enter the boss room. This confirms that the game loads a different Scorpion when you enter the boss room (which also has a health bar, but it's not visible to the player).

    Ah yes, the return of my favorite series on UA-cam: Spider-Man 3 - OOB 101. Keep on with the patrician content as always Shtrudel. The information you bring with these videos is substantial and flavorful and is what keeps me alongside many other silent viewers invested within this niche circle of Spider-Man & speed-running content.

    to be hosent I find spiderman 3 a creepy game I dont enjoy playing it unlike ultimate spiderman which is with a happier theme
