I have the SBGP017 with the 9F85 movement which also has the jumping hour feature.
I set it over 3 months ago and it hasn’t lost even a fraction on a second. Literally dead on with atomic time. GS quartz is amazing.
Great dimensions. Perfect watch for someone who wants a high quality timepiece and does not want to show off a brand like Rolex and prefers precision & grab'n'go and does not see the romance of mechanical watches.
What an interesting GS! I haven’t seen this model before. And what a lovely shape to the case too! (Reminiscent of a Nautilus I suppose, with those ‘ears’) still, very nice indeed.
These are fantastic value used. Incredibly accurate also - far better than the stated figures They will be getting rid of this model as its too cheap and they are putting the prices up across the board. Get it!
It's so beautiful.. 😍
Love that tiramisu polishing they do
they should put this bracelet in the evo 9 series watch this bracelet is another class above and should be in the best GS.
Beautiful watch and such interesting information. Thank you for that!
Lug width is 18mm
Are there a 37mm version of this? In this grey blueish dial, quartz or auto
Thanks
Please we need the review of the sbgv237
Ok that’s a stunner
Best looking GS case for sure. Can't find a black dial version though...
SBGV215 or SBGV015. Even has matching colour date, lovely...

A luxury quartz watch is even more useless than a luxury automatic. Just look at your cell phone or smartwatch if you need to know the time within 1-2 s/day.
This watch is as useful as a VCR or DVD, or a turntable.
It really doesnt matter how precise the quartz movement is; we can say the same about the electronics in the first generation cell phones.
More useless? Words of a true scholar indeed.
Why are you even watching a grand seiko video if you obviously don’t appreciate fine watches?
You missed the entire point of watches and watchmaking.
It´s not about the time, but everything else that surrounds it
So poor accuracy is better than superb accuracy - got it
