Yes I do it all the time. I use a USB C hub with two USB ports one for the interface and one for the midi keyboard. It’s good to get one that allows charging at the same time too. 🙂

As a keyboard player I do see it as a problem. From lived experience, the envelope should trigger regardless of note length, & release should not happen until note off happens. Or at least that has usually been an option by default. Because one shot is not the same and not affected by note length, therefore release is probably only going to happen when note off happens due to being in a choke group, or just when the sample plays out naturally! To me, that's not okay when wanting to create instruments from one shots, but is perhaps easily overlooked when in context of what is also a phrase sampler. Be interested to know how your other sampler boxes deal with envelopes. I bet they do what I'm saying.
Yeah I’ll test that out on the SP and the MPC but I guess this must be a little bug particularly because you don’t need the one shot for attack. I’ll mention it on the group. Great about the buses though! 👍🙂

I’m not sure if there is a discord but I understand why you aren’t on Facebook. I only signed back up after years away for the marketplace and the groups I’m in. @@nervouscooks Mate, is it just me having a hard time imagining why I'd want sidechain compression on my master? 🤔 The only scenario I can think of, and I don't know why I'd do it, would involve a bus for a different, muted, kick to affect the master output. But it's going to duck everything, isn't it...?

Are you still having noise issues with Koala. I am on Android when exporting loops. And after getting the muxer it crashes a lot more - some kind of cache issue.
It what way, MIDI or just audio? For audio I use a usb c hub and take the headphone port out of the iPad and into the line in on the MPC. For midi I start a new midi track, make sure Bluetooth is enabled (MPC one) and make sure it connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. Then set the midi from the iPad on the MPC. 👍
Have both and like it too. Nice feature is the capture like in Live . It always record what u play in background and u can have ur hand on it after to edit. Host AUv3 effect and synth inside. The UI is slick. Maybe not straight forward as Koala in term of drag and drop but it s a new apps and the dev is in touch so I guess it ll mature . U can try it it s free with few limitation and if u want the auto slicer and AUv3 host it s 5 ish . Great channel btw. @@nervouscooks
I think I might do an effects video and deep dive into those so I’ll cover the tuner as well as it lives there. I can see some use for it but I think it could be better as you can’t trigger a pad and have it open which would be very handy! 👍
We still really need multiple pad EQ too, as per Volume, Pitch, Pan, & busses. The hack is to hold the EQ setting whilst changing pads!

I noticed on the one shot. The Release doesn't work quite The way what you think it Should work.
