The easiest way for reducing screen time is to turn-off the notifications from the social media apps. Most of the time the notifications are the trigger which distract your brain rather than the app itself. Notifications reduce your ability to focus as your mind gets diverted on every chime. This I learned from the book, Deep Learning by Cal Newport, wherein he discussed this phenomenon and also the Dopamine mechanism of it, which is the physiological aspect of it... Btw great video.
