- EPISODE #7 of what will be a long journey on this Southern Illinois 8 acre property investment! It looks much more like a JUNK YARD, but we (kind of) think we know what we are doing, LOL! This is real world real estate investing and not some scripted flip or flop hype show! Join us here for this 7th episode and many more to come as we begin to tackle this investment property cleanup. Mrs. Kapper will be working on salvaging stuff from the old homesite, the chicken coop, old barn boards, rustic tin and smaller items, and Curtis Rogers (the new land owner) will be working all of the logistics for selling items, working with scrappers and scrap yards, dumpsters, transportation of certain items, and all other land administrative items and I will be helping out with the dirty work, bringing in my machines!! Woo Hoo!! Doesn't this all sound like fun!! Of course it is CERTAIN to be another life learning experience, but hey, hopefully Curtis can make some profit on this one when it is all said and done and we can bring you a very fun, yet educational special DIY series on how all of this stuff works. Thanks for joining us, and please, if you enjoy this kind of content, Like and Share it for us to help us grow our audience and Kapper team here on our channel, we'd greatly appreciate that! Also consider subscribing to follow not only this property investment project, but all of our Kioti tractor projects, Bobcat mini excavator projects, Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer projects, our Illinois and Kentucky land management projects, food plots, duck ponds, watering holes, deer land management wildlife habitat improvement projects, wildlife conservation projects, our Kentucky farmhouse rehab project, Mrs. Kapper's rustic DIY barn wood and furniture projects, her DIY rustic farmhouse decor and much more country living adventure! I never thought I'd be watching a channel like this but I'm hooked. It's relaxing in some twisted way😂😂😂
lol glad to hear that! It was quite the project for sure! Thanks
Andrew Camarata could get all that stuff running in a matter of hours....lol! And it would all be "good as new". hahaha...
And his video would be an hour long lol
Andy would do the smart thing. tear it up and haul it to the scrap yard. The only thing that was worth saving was that metal roof tin and they bent it up with the track hoe.
@@thecollectoronthecorner7061 junk produces money in this case. Or at least a significant amount to pay for cleanup
It’s true
Well I broke down and subscribed don't want miss the clean up and renewal.
So we got you hook, line and sinker? 😁 welcome!
Nice job guys, Curtis has the right friend helping him out on this one. Right now that old farm is under Kap attack. Keep up the good work.
Yes sir I love a good challenge! Thanks
"Stuff's Flying off the shelf " Love it!
Roger that! You should watch today's episode and see an amazing difference!! Thank you
I call that a yard full of “l’m gonna fix it up someday”
I think we should rename the E42 thumb to the “Kapper Klaw”. Nice work Joe!
I like that Tim. The Kapper Klaw
I like it! It sure has picked up a variety of things!!
Looking better, I've been meaning to tell you you've got good taste in music.... 80s rock Baby
Continued good progress! That's a nice Milwaukee for Mrs. K!
I like it!
I suppose I'll go to bed now that the wrecker is free. Thanks Kapper!
LMAO glad to help!!
Sleep well! 💤💭
Wow that Toyota really did squat 😁
lol no doubt. I couldn't believe how heavy that thing was!
great fun to watch! Awesome video
Thanks for the visit, lots more fun and crazy stuff coming getting this place cleaned up!!
Progress being made. Man that place is just like Ragu. It's in there.
Lol no doubt. Hidden flavor!!
These have been a lot of fun to watch, Joe. It seems you are enjoying doing this.
Well, it sure is fun fulfilling childhood boy toy fantasies!! LOL
Nice that you had good weather. I would have hated to do that in the heat of summer. With all that shade and water it would have been a mosquito paradise!!
Love Your Videos Brother!! Makes me want to be there lol 😂
Thank you I appreciate it at least you can tag along in the video!
I like that pull behind travel trailer
The other reason people want the older RV's is the engines can be now rare engines as they used off the shelf engines when they made them.
No doubt, and if I heard Curtis right, he said there was a 454 in that motor home!! Now that's a sweet motor in any vehicle! Thanks.
Kap, you need to weld a grab hook, clevis mount, or D ring on the back of that bucket so you can easily and safely attach a chain or strap for lifting instead of using the teeth. Enjoying this video. Stanley in Md.
I agree. I do have hooks welded on my 2ft bucket, probably should be bringing that one along! Thanks.
@@kapperoutdoors Yes sir, be safe.
nice chunk of property,,,,,would love to metal detect..
Looking good bud. Amazing with how your going to do the loop around road to make life easier rl load up stuff. Is curtis keeping the big trees if not maybe easier to remove a couple for making things easier. But good to see things getting wider and clearer keep it up bud.
yep, will be a nice loop. Some more trees are going to be pulled yet no doubt! Bring some light into the back area! Thanks.
@@kapperoutdoors hey just trying to help shed separate eye on it since I know wat your facing as I do it too.
Here in WV I call places like that,Paradise.. 🤣
lol nice! They are fun to pick around in for sure, just not in my back yard, :)
I would love to snag IH tow truck, sadly I live in middle of Illinois. Send it to a good home! Thanks for update Kapper
I'm pretty sure the guy that's buying it is going to take good care of it I'd love to see it running again thanks
Mrs K we know what your getting for Xmas!! You’ll be so happy!😂
Ha! I found and used it before he did! Shhhh...
I always put the chain through my thumb , no chance of it slipping off.
He should weld an eye on the back side of the bucket
I love your excavator!!!!!!
No doubt! It is an awesome machine!
I wished I lived closer to you. I would love to have that tank on my farm.
I'm pretty sure I could get it loaded on a transport trailer
If weren't too far away I come recue that wrecker. Make nice spring project. But maybe some else can get it, hopefully not molest from what it supposed to be.
I think it is sold, but not certain. I agree, would be a fantastic rehab vehicle! Thanks.
From what I cud see of that Deutz I reckon it's about the same hp as ur Kioti 🤔 good tractor in its day 👍👍
I think it is 130 hp!! Tires filled with fluid too!
Really making good progress guys. But you should make some time to hunt some too. Maybe you do? Jeep up the good work 👍
Well ,you are right, I do need to hunt more! 2nd gun season starts tomorrow and we are filming bucks from the house!!!
@@kapperoutdoors Kap that water tank would make one hell of a hog cooker. Cook a dozen at a time👍😂😂😂
Nice work Kap & Curtis. Kap, where did all this stuff come from? Was the previous owner a collector of sorts? Wish you & Curtis the best moving all the miscellaneous stuff. Hav a fine week. S/F
Thanks man this is quite a challenge but fun stuff as long as we can stay safe and not break anything. Semper Fi
Apparently a junk collector!
I wish I lived near you I haul all of it away
Some of that stuff has set long enough to grow roots!
oh yes, and many roots are holding these things in place!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That RAMCHARGER brings back memories. Don't know why ppl buy cars or trucks to just rot AWAY.......
Was that a Miller 44D welder?
Your tracking all over that place do you know where the septic system are
Yes behind the house still buried
You can power a village with that welder using it like a generator
Yeah no doubt that guy is going to have it up and running in no time. Couldn't believe how heavy that thing was
👏👏👍👍🇬🇧
good morning hier is it nacht wichs from the nerdelands
Thanks for joining us! Have a great day!
Look if you will stop trying to use the boom in and out arms , and stick to bucket teeth side under what you want to pick and curl up or in , and then pick up with boom and the crowd in or crowd out , there is 1 boom ,2 crowd, 3 curl ,4 on that machine 4 swigs and rotate, out here if you pack down the roll off bins, you could get 200 to 400 for scrap metal prices, it’s a 150 per ton out here rite now , you better have real HMS #1 150 per ton that is2240 pounds per ton , you lose one ton on every 10 tons, it is called a metric ton, or gross ton, thanks BigAl California.
Can’t imagine why someone would wanna buy all that junk/money pits.
Andrew Camarata needed three dumpsters to put a mobile home in.
I would personally dismantle all those homes all that Aluminium would fetch a nice profit, timbers would burn nicely and use what you can of the steel frame, but that's just my opinion
That's what the guys are doing, they are just going to try to move them off site I think to work on them.
See if the fire department can burn the trailers.
Where you all at shawnee hills
Is this property going to be for sale when your done cleaning up?
Yes it will be. Hopefully within another month or two, depending on the weather and the remaining clean up. Thanks.
Has anybody bought that big tank, I'd like make a huge culvert with it
There are 2 of those tanks!! Come on, bring a big trailer!!!
Pleas try to start the Deutz!
They're going to try and start the backhoe, but the Deutsch was just loaded and is gone yesterday!
Somebody has to restore that International tow truck...come on.... some other UA-camr maybe? lol
Man, that would be sweet to follow!!!
got it. today and the ram charger.
Jonathan W. would have a field day bringing her back from the dead!
Is digging a burn pit an option?
Right now it is Not. There are epa violations, but once we get it cleaned up enough we might be able to start burning stuff. Sure would help a lot!! Thanks.
So what's the story with this place? Welders, compressors, plenty of things that were probably not in terrible shape a few years back. Usually its nothing but tires, trailers, and rotten wood. Did someone go to prison or? It's really odd to have so much saleable stuff on a cleanup. Thanks for sharing
Previous owner was a wheeler and dealer, always bought something and used for a little while then it sat. He passed away in 2014 and the estate went to his kids. All but one lives out of state and never had nothing to do with the property or wanted to mess with cleanup.
@@curtisrogerslandbroker UGH .. I've known of some really great stuff went to the shredder over heirs not using their heads. Even six figure values at one place went out for pennies on the dollar. I've never been lucky enough to get on the front end of one of those deals. Always find out too late. I'd bet if they checked on things in 2014 they might have gotten a little anyways. Oh well..
Many old timers have places loaded with stuff they collected over the year's ( check out old farmjunk101 on UA-cam) and then they get sick or have a stroke or the old ticker starts acting up but they refuse to get rid of anything. I knew a guy that had 68' G T O and for a Minnesota car it was in pretty fair condition. Would not sell it at any price! It was on his property until he died and his daughter had it towed to the scrap yard. I found out about it too late! Truck's tractors, car's tool's and roll cabs went to the scrap yard! She had a pot full of money and had no interest in dealing with her fathers stuff. It was all junk to her!
I knew several guy's that attended the same auctions that I did and when they kicked off the family hired junk collectors to just haul it all to the bone yard!!
Where is that place at
Southern IL
R go see
Count how many times did he see gravel it's not gravel it is Stone
It's called a lot of different things in different areas
Its also rock! 😁
Get a little stronger excavator
Let me see... The owner died with no kids and no wife...
Owner died, kids inherited it and sold it.

Go get a real truck to haul that welder.
Don't knock a man for his truck, each of us use what we can afford that works!
Didn't squat as bad as I thought it might.
I had that vintage Toyota, pretty damn tough truck!
