What a great hike! Snake Wood looks beautiful. The bothy was a really good find. Thanks for taking us with you on your adventure. Glad Raisin enjoyed himself too. xx
Fascinating vlog! , Loved snake woods and the gorgeous scenery up on the moorland, nice to see there's still some colour in spite of the snow, little Pupper did so well and didn't seem fazed by the wet ground, loved the little bothy, thank you for sharing, looking forward to seeing your next video🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️xxxxxx
Really enjoyed this little video! Loved seeing Pupper out with you too! Such a cutie!😍It was great to see the contrast between forest and moorland!❤ Looking forward to seeing more of your videos! Congratulations on completing your charity walk too this weekend! Take care and rest up! Thanks for letting me look after Pupper! 🤗 ❤
Your video is beautiful, and the music is quite understated so that it doesn't detract from the experience, and you two are cute as heck. Love to see you enjoying the wilderness while you're still young.
Thanks Patricia glad you enjoyed it, was definitely one of our favourite spots to visit yet 👍 ☺️ great to see you watching through our catalogue of videos 😅♥️
What a stunning landscape we have on our doorstep. You two have done a Stirling job capturing the wild scenery. Bothy was a cool place to plan into a long walk. Keep up this stuff guys, I love the Peaks. 😃
Thanks for the kind comment Simon! ☺️👍 Definitely a great place for those on a long walk 👍 we could have done with one for our charity walk 😅 ended up with a b&b
That bothy is a really good idea. Totally understand them wanting to try and keep the locations not in the spotlight, it's definitely in a location that you may only stumble across by chance. May have to go and hunt for it next year! Theia reacted when she saw Raisen in the video....best mates for life. Great video as always. Merry Christmas x
Definitely tucked out the way! We'd recommend it 😊👍 awww theia!!! Hopefully they'll both meet again on one of the walks next year 😍 merry Christmas to you both too! Xx
Hey guys . Wonderful to see all three of you . Congrats on completing your charity walk . Can't wait to see more . We will be going for our usual Christmas day walk in the Peaks . Have a great Christmas and an even better New Year 😀 😊 😉
Hi Andy! Thank you very much, it was hard going at times in the fog 😅 that video will be out at some point soon! Enjoy your Christmas Day walk merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too 🎄❤️🎁
Thanks so much for watching and commenting :) As long as you start down in Snake Woods and work your way up, I'm sure you'll find it. It's listed on OS maps too 👍 Have a great Christmas 🎅
Bothy's are a great idea especially for someone like me who can become lost very quickly - Beautiful Moorlands & Keeping the location secret I like that Best Wishes David
I don’t know anything about a bothy but yesterday a video about one in Wales popped up on my feed. It looked fantastic. Very spacious, log fire. with a shelf containing various packets and bottles of food. Also it had a separate outdoor toilet which looked very clean. Still the outdoor life wouldn’t appeal to me but I enjoy listening and seeing other people’s experiences😁 After a long trek it must be great to find a place of shelter.
Another awesome video, what a cool spot it is up there. I will certainly be planning a walk up here to check it out after watching this. Loved raisins jumper also ♥️ If I hadn't already hit the like button earlier in the video I would have when you slipped over in the sheep poo Kyle 😂
What a wonderful way to spend Sunday evening watching this, our intrepid explorers of the 2 legged and 4 legged variety , evokes memories of another bothy up on Carnedd Llewellyn, and walking the glens of Lochaber. Whilst I think on ,have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and healthy New year, peace and love from the wirral....E
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, we are so glad you enjoyed the video :) The Bothy was a great destination for this little mini adventure :)
What a great vid!!! The area looks so beautiful and little both is so cool!! New sub here, been following you on IG for a while but have only just got around to watching some of your vids. Keep up the good work guys! And merry Christmas!! 😃
Just started watching your videos great little bothy that if you need too get shelter from the weather its ideal but definitely people need too keep the location Secret as it be hounded by hikers lol
Oh hey guys, id heard of this bothy! I think Anthony Johnson covered it in one of his videos. But that's so cool! I've really wanted to stay in a bothy before. So maybe this one's the one!
I've stayed in there overnight a few years ago, there used to be a rams skull above the door. The washing line and bench are new since I visited there, great little shelter, it's a shame some idiot set fire to the table at some point.
was at that bothy not long ago, and going by the number of entries in the 3 bothy books that where there i think that secret is well and truely out, great vid guys, there is 2 bothys together up on the moors to the left of howden res, i would have to look thru my viewranger gpx maps to give the location as it was like 5ish years ago i was there, if ya want some info give me a shout 👍
Thanks for the comment Graham 😄 We also think the secret is probably well and truly out like you said! Hmm we actually plan to go and visit howden res at some point so they might be worth going to see 👍 ☺️ thanks Graham!
for them other 2 bothys, take back dike from howden then lower small clough, if you want to do a circular walk its about 6.5 mile, BUT if you do theres a river crossing, unless you go back the same way 👍
It's not so "secret" mate. I passed that in 2017 and had a look inside. There was a book and pen in there and if what was written in that book is true, barely a week went by without someone writing an entry in it. If you think you might get some "privacy" in there, think again. It gets hot in there because there is no loft space so the roof acts as a huge heater when the sun shines on it.
maybe i've misunderstood what these huts are about. i thought they were places of refuge, for hikers. that can't be the case, if they are to be kept secret
I get what you are saying that you don't want it turning into a Mam Tor, god forbid, attraction. But you also say it can save you in a time when the weather is bad, but you won't disclose its location. A lot of contradictions and I guess for the right reasons. I'd love to visit it but I'd hate for it to become a spray paint centre. You know what I mean. So great vlog, but I'll have to research now.
What a great hike! Snake Wood looks beautiful. The bothy was a really good find. Thanks for taking us with you on your adventure. Glad Raisin enjoyed himself too. xx
Gorgeous views and I love the bothy

Well shot and edited. Interesting story, You're getting good at this.
Thank you for the kind comment Andrew! ☺️ 👍
How cool is that! Very cool that it is there to use.
Thanks Kaitlin, agreed! It's a nice little building, not 5 star accommodation but would help in bad weather 😅 Thanks for watching!
Well this gives me and my friend somewhere new to find. 🥾🥾
Thank you both & have a beautiful Christmas together xx

Great vlog. I stopped off there earlier this year after a wild camp near Alport Castles. I won’t tell anyone. Ssshhhhhh 🤪👍
Another brilliant vid. 10/10
Thanks Ben! 😄
Thank you very much Benjamin, much appreciated for your support, we'll catch you in another adventure soon :)
Nice video. This obviously an alternative use of the word secret that I'm used to. Its really obvious.
Thanks for watching Sean! ✌️
👍👍👍👍 enjoyed it 🎥🎥🎥
Thanks glad you enjoyed it 👍😊
We loved the views from the moorland, incredible. Finding a Bothy is always cool, too bad it smelled of sheep poo!! Lovely adventure! 🍻

Oh just got to the pupLOL
Were there ever trees here?
I think the #hellonearth guys stayed here
Who is the little dog?
Its called a Bothy , not a Body , as I have learnt as an English man in the Scottish Highlands...
We do call it a bothy! 😅

Genuine hikers will likely be carrying a map, chancers just want to be led there with 16 cans of beer in flip flops.
