    Love the sound of v8 and twin turbo. How reliable would this motor be if it was tuned for 850hp to 1000hp.

    HEY NELSON!!! Me and my dad are working on a 68 GTO. we have a 400ci with a couple of upgrades. after watching your video I want to pull out our 5.3 LM7 out of our 99 gmc sierra with the transmission and put it into our gto. I watch your video all the time to get ideas. what would you do to the 5.3 to give it 1,500 HP? if you want to see it check out my UA-cam page.

      pontiac and chevy motors are the same thing. theyre both GM products, and have used the same motors for decades. even the new GTO and G8 GTs have chevy LS motors in them.

    You just "Bruce Jenner'ed" the GTO..
    Never support the rape of Pontiac cars with Chevy power... no matter what.
    Bad enough your did that T/A with Chevy power.
    What gives, not like a MR1 or IA PMD block can't handle the power...?!

    • @jdrok5026
      @jdrok5026 8 років тому

      well complain to pontaic lol atleast its a gm engine

    • @jdrok5026
      @jdrok5026 8 років тому

      +ramairgto72 its sacrilege yes but come on the parts to build a fire breathing 455 pontiac is expensive and limited now

    • @ramairgto72
      @ramairgto72 8 років тому

      The cost of building a PMD engine is at it's lowest it's ever been, the thing is people just would rather get a cheap LS engine and make big power.
      Sure building a PMD engine VS power returns is more then an LS engine, but it's right in line with building an LSX aftermarket block.
      I don't build factory PMD blocks anymore, by the time you do the machine work it's not much more to buy an aftermarket PMD block, and I think it's up to 5 or 6 blocks to pick from, all of them handle over 3,000 hp.
      The cracks accept BBC rods cutting cost down, the heads are the only real expensive part, but if you look at "Big Chief" he's running a rather cheap set up, in fact the induction system cost more then the heads down.
      You can even get crappy 6X heads CNCed and push a bunch of boost into a IA or RM1 block and make more power then your tires can hold.
      Nelson has a T/A with a blown LS engine, now i'm sure this guy has enough money to drop 3G-4G on a PMD engine vs the same kinda engine in LS Racing Head Service (RHS) block for $5307.06, and and unfinished LSX block for $2,400.
      For that price you can go with a $4,395.00 RM1A Alm, PMD engine thats far stronger with more options.
      You don't need one OEM part for build a PMD engine now, they make everything new, and from many venders not just one.

    that's fuckin badass I'll never get a nitrous car just cause you can get everything u want and more right from turbo's but I like the overall feel when ur boost kicks in, I don't like that the way you never know when you hit ur nitrous where ur car's going well we are all just along for every RIDE its all up to the chase the suspension and ur team who helped put it all together and make it possible
