Not ashamed to admit that in the movie when they played that form his last performance, I definitely had a tear in my eye. Such a beautiful song sung by the artist with the best voice in history.
Elvis has a voice for the ages. It's inexplicable that one singer could posses a voice that has never been categorized as one type and more importantly, wasn't limited by genre. The emotional depth is truly unmatched as well as his uncanny ability to create such intimate connections with the listener that an entire audience feels like the only one he was singing to, and the way he could get so much out of any song are all reasons why Elvis deserves to be celebrated for the simple truth about him is that he loved music.
I know that "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was written and originally recorded by Simon and Garfunkel but Elvis did an amazing cover of it. If you haven't heard Elvis sing this song then I do recommend you listening to it.
@@ericstorm6582 Simon later commented that while it was a “touch on the dramatic side”, “so was the song” and that when he first heard it, “it was unbelievable. I thought to myself, ‘How the hell can I compete with that?'”
I took my 85 year old mom to see the movie Elvis this past weekend and she loved it. She was able to see him in person and the movie took her back to her youth. She is why I love Elvis too! Grew up with his music filling our house.

If I Can Dream has such an impact on me, it is Elvis in his element. You can tell he is singing about something he feels very strongly about, the emotion and pain in his voice is awesome.
After watching the Elvis film, I’m proud to say that it has converted me to the King of Rock! It makes me want to travel back to that age and live in it! Suspicious Minds was, and still is, a song from childhood (even before watching the film)!

Elvis is definitely in my Top 20 for sure, around his contemporaries like James Brown, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard.
That’s normal. It’s a generational things. A lot of things in music have changed since Presley. But you recognize him for his achievements and talent. You show insight that many others don’t have. Which is lacking in todays society. Oh and I’m not of Presley era. Born way after he hit it big. 👋
The sheer amount of impact Elvis Presley did on popular culture unspeakable. He was so ahead of his time, without a doubt the best entertainer of the 20th century

Hound Dog is my all time favourite song from the King! :) By the way great list so many great songs he had a great voice and iconic film performances, his music will never die out, it will always live on for generations though.
Jailhouse Rock, Can't help falling in love and Suspicious minds are my three favorite Elvis songs, but I rediscovered If I Can Dream when watching the Elvis movie in cinema and it is a close 4th place.
Thanks a lot for doing this great tribute! awesome list, a nice change to see you pay tribute to such a legend and a myth, keep going the awesome work! top quality video and sound of course! I become a fan Elvis throughout the years! I really like Elvis in his last years, I realize how great he was when I listen to his cover of Unchained Melody for the first time when he played piano, I was so moved, by all the the life he has experienced, and he looks like he knew already how his fate will be! so many beautiful songs and a great singer! His concert in Hawaiii with American trilogy and all the others songs he sang in the concert My god, chills, I'm 28 and when I was a kid I didn't like him that much now a great admirer of his career!
GREAT Choices!!!! I do wish "Unchained Melody" would of made it!!! His VOICE WAS SO POWERFUL AT THE END OF HIS LIFE!!! He was so sick but NEVER Gave up!!! Elvis will remain in our hearts forever!!! He never left the building!!!!!!!!
Many people only know this legend because of the recent movie (and that's all right) , but me and others probably know him and became a fan of him because of many reasons, watching him in person (such lucky type of fans), heard one/most of Elvis' song and since then they never got it out of their mind, watched his movies and got stuck on the songs performed within it, or just like mine, which is I became obsessed of his cool hairstyles and his early songs (and the obsession turn into becoming one of a diehard fan of someone I never met in real life), And other else.
I'll remember you, Love me, One night, Trying to get to you are great songs. Also his versions of Unchained Melody, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Polk Salad Annie, Promised Land, You've lost that loving felling are amazing.
Excellent compilation with lots of interesting background info on the various songs. It shows the tremendous versatility and impressive voice range of Elvis at his best. He really was (and is) the King of the Whole Wide World !!
There are so many great songs. I love them all. One of my favorite’s is If I can dream. I also love the gospel songs. He has such a great voice.👍❤️❤️❤️
My all-time Elvis fave is Love Me. I guess it wasnt one of the more well known songs he ever sang, but it still gives me goosebumps when I hear it. I also love I Need Your Love Tonight. I just saw the Elvis movie the other day and there were people dancing, singing and even crying during the performance. Austin Butler was awesome!
*Out of heartbreak hotel, hound dog, songs from roustabout and G.I. blues...* *To me, jailhouse rock is No.1.* *Also "devil in disguise" is a great song. Credit to my childhood movie kilo and stitch.*
190: I didn’t see Elvis yet but I love his songs. Ever since I was a kid, watching Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, I love Burning Love. My other favorites are Hound Dog and Can’t Help Falling Love With You
Made me remember my parents. My mom always said my dad, who had hazel eyes and black hair, looked a lot like Elvis and she fell in love with that. It didn't last but I can see where she thought of Elvis. I love his music. American Trilogy is probably my favorite, with Suspicious Minds a close second. I remember a TV movie with Kurt Russell playing Elvis and his singing Suspicious Minds in his living room with the band and Season Hubley as Priscilla Presley. I don't know why that scene sticks in my mind but I hear the song and I start seeing that scene. My step mom, btw, got one of Elvis's scarves at a concert he did in Amarillo.
Great job Mojo on being able to narrow Elvis' songs down to a top twenty. If it was me, there's no way I would be able to stop at that. All hail the King.
⭐There are so many, how to pick only 20?! ⭐ A few more: "Now and Then" "The Wonder of You" "I Need Your Love Tonight" "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You" "Bossa Nova Baby" And as Jeffrey said, "Hard Headed Woman" Elvis will always be the King. And Austin Butler was BRILLIANT. Hope he gets the Oscar.
It was so very heartbreaking and hurt my heart so much when hearing of her death. 54 years old is still so very young, and my heart hurt for her too, when news broke about the loss of her son & as a mother myself. My own mother lost her Father (my grandfather) when she was just 4 years old from a massive heart attack. It was a huge & unexpected shock to my grandmother, as well as the whole family. He never smoked or drank. He was a marine and at the time of his death he worked for the VA in patient transportation. He was a big man only because he was 6’1, he was not overweight and in was in great physical health at the time of his death. Lisa Marie was just 4 years old when Priscilla left Elvis & only 9 when he passed away. Her life was under a microscope since her birth because her Father was so famous & no matter how hard Priscilla tried to shield & protect her from it. The toll of such fame that was inflicted on Elvis himself was just so unbearable at times & just awful to see how much he had to endure just to get some form of normalcy, relief and escape from all the craziness that followed his every move. He was only 42 years old when he passed, the same age my grandfather was when he passed. I have an Aunt (my moms older sister) who absolutely loved and adored Elvis so much (like everyone) she had a room in her home that was dedicated completely to Elvis with shelves full “floor to ceiling” of all things Elvis & memorabilia, etc. She went on a cruise that was Elvis themed, as well as went to 2 of his concerts. ❤ She had personalized license plates “Elvis A” & “Lovin U” I am just so hopeful that she has gotten to see & hang out with him since her passing in 2015. 😊
My grandma’s mom and Elvis ‘s aunt were good friends and she knew Elvis well and she had a guitar signed by Elvis and she passed it down to my mom and now me
You see Elvis is one of those Artists where it’s hard to pick an exact placement for these songs like there is so many songs that also deserve to be on this list
My top three is: 3) Jailhouse Rock 2) Can’t help falling in love 1) The Wonder of you (Actually I love preety all of the Elvis songs but this are the ones I love the most)

King! A certain community can keep on hating him, but he will always be the King.
The sheer amount of impact Elvis Presley did on popular culture unspeakable. He was so ahead of his time, without a doubt the best entertainer of the 20th century

@@alohafromliam You just proved that there are many sides to Elvis’s music. Everyone has their favourite genre of Elvis. I think that’s a huge reason his so popular today his versatility in songs hitting different people with different tastes. 👋
Where is mystery train????
It's now or never, Unchained Melody, Bridge over troubled water, My way, What now my love, Kentucky rain, Stuck in you, Polk salad annie, You've lost that loving feeling, How the web was woven, Tomorrow never comes, His latest flame, And I love you so, How great thou art, Bossa nova baby, etc etc
I don't mind Elvis but I am not like a die hard fan of his. But don't get me wrong Elvis will always be one of the greatest artists in music history!
'Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building!'
Totally spot on. I’ve always lived Suspicious Minds most of all Elvis’s songs. Well done, Mojo!
Suspicious Minds finally gets the credit it deserves lol. It’s Elvis’s best song in my opinion.
His voice is something that nobody can steal or copy
Great list but some of Elvis' gospel music was great too. How Great Thou Art comes to mind.
Always on my mind. Still gives me goosebumps when I hear it on the radio. Elvis had a phenomenal voice. 🙏😊
That death in GRACELAND BECAUSE IS HIS NOT OF PRESCILLA
He was truly blessed with the gift of being a great musician.
Can't believe Kentucky rain and are you lonesome tonight aren't in here. But he had so many awesome unforgettable music.
Are you lonesome is in here
my favorite song of elvis is can't help falling in love
Elvis Presley is a hero.
Never saw tears coming out of his eyes and I'm so glad I never did, but seeing a streak of sweat down his cheek made it hard to imagine him cry
My list would be almost totally different. That's what's so great about him
My favorite is Love Me Tender. Beautiful song!
Its now or never ,dont cry daddy mama like the roses and so many other songs so tough to choose elvis was and still the best of them all period
Trouble from King Creole is a personal favorite. Love the scene in the movie too.
One of the better Elvis top songs lists.
Saw the Elvis movie yesterday. I loved it! It is great!
“You do know Elvis is dead, right?”
“No, Elvis is not dead. He just went home!”
-Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones as Agents K & J, “Men in Black”, 1997.
Love me tender is # 1 on my list
Elvis has an incredible songbook, but Heartbreak Hotel is my favorite. Suspicious Minds is 2nd ❤️👍👍
One of his most underrated ones!! Absolutely love that song! Along with I want you, I need you, I love you,
I was the one, and Trying to get to you!
*Out of heartbreak hotel, hound dog, songs from roustabout and G.I. blues...* *To me, jailhouse rock is No.1.*
*Also "devil in disguise" is a great song. Credit to my childhood movie kilo and stitch.*
Pudge was heavy
Omg yes I love jailhouse rock one of my fave Elvis songs apart from trouble and a little less conversation
If i can dream is not just my favourite Elvis song its my favourite song of all time!
190: I didn’t see Elvis yet but I love his songs. Ever since I was a kid, watching Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, I love Burning Love. My other favorites are Hound Dog and Can’t Help Falling Love With You
Can't help falling in love with you is my favorite, so emotional and soul capturing
Elvis Presley, the greatest cover artist of all time
Made me remember my parents.
Great list! I do love Elvis! One of my all time favorite Elvis songs is "Follow That Dream" from the movie of the same name.
I thought it was only me who loved that song!
@@ashbond4607 you're not alone!
I also love that song.❤
I have two favorite Elvis songs right now: If I Can Dream and Wooden Heart. ❤️🕺🏻🎸
Great job Mojo on being able to narrow Elvis' songs down to a top twenty. If it was me, there's no way I would be able to stop at that. All hail the King.
⭐There are so many, how to pick only 20?! ⭐ A few more:
"Now and Then"
"The Wonder of You"
"I Need Your Love Tonight"
"I Want You, I Need You, I Love You"
"Bossa Nova Baby"
And as Jeffrey said, "Hard Headed Woman"
Elvis will always be the King. And Austin Butler was BRILLIANT. Hope he gets the Oscar.
My favourite elvis song of all time is just can't help believen
My favorite is "I want you, I need you, I love you".
I did my way was a fantastic song thank you❤❤
Elvis forever ❤❤❤❤
My grandma’s mom and Elvis ‘s aunt were good friends and she knew Elvis well and she had a guitar signed by Elvis and she passed it down to my mom and now me
1. Unchained melody
2. If I can dream
3. Jailhouse rock
What an unbelievable talent
So many great songs song by Elvis!
Lovely, great, wonderful , beautiful singing. Long live my Elvis king of rock and roll.
Elvis will definitely never ever leave the building
You see Elvis is one of those Artists where it’s hard to pick an exact placement for these songs like there is so many songs that also deserve to be on this list
My top three is:
3) Jailhouse Rock
2) Can’t help falling in love
1) The Wonder of you
(Actually I love preety all of the Elvis songs but this are the ones I love the most)
Great 👍. I love it. Beautiful. I love all Elvis's songs.
Vi ayer la pelicula ELVIS y me encantó !! mi padre me ponía su música de pequeña y he tardado pero si te gusta la música siempre llegas a los GRANDES. Viva Elvis !!
