Hey guys, unfortunately the number 17 spot has been trimmed out due to copyright issues but it was the Audi A3 3rd Gen! I pretty much just said its like a pocket A4 which means it has tuning potential, but reliability is scary.
Let me say I am an O.G. car guy from back in the day and have customized every car I have ever owned since I was 16 years old. I sincerely appreciate you making your top 20 list for folks to review. It is interesting and appreciated, however, I do have a few questions. First, if the whole point is to save us average Joe's some money and still have a nice ride, then why would you recommend some of the most unreliable and extremely expensive to repair cars in your list? Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Jaguars are all nightmares to repair. Also, the videos of the cars look great, however, all the cars in the videos appear to be not only in "pristine" paint and body condition, but also extremely customized with aftermarket air suspension, wheels, interior, lighting etc. I personally love all of that extra custom stuff, however, I know for a fact that all that stuff gets extremely expensive. Just the cool air suspension alone starts at around 3k, just for parts for most vehicles. In order to get most the sub 10k cars in your video, to look and perform well, folks would easily have to spend another 20k, so I just don't really understand the point of recommending some of these cars. Lastly, Dodge Neon? C'mon bro! There is not enough lipstick in the world to make that pig look good...sorry. Take care.👍🏼✌🏼
1. I'm so proud of you, buying a house is a huge step and well done for prioritising it! 2. Clean shaven Mark be lookin' sexy af 😘 3. WRX Raptor eye gotta be #1 for me!
I've a 13 F30 328i for about 3 years now. I have a catless downpipe and a intake on it, nothing crazy. I love that car though and I've had no issues with it. I have about 140k on the dial. I will say, get the 340 if you can, I would have but at the time I wanted to learn how to put on a widebody kit and some other things so I didn't want to cut into a more expensive car. As soon as I buy another car it's getting prepped for a LS6. I highly recommend them though, great cars and a lot of fun to drive with a few small modifications!
I would like to add that Audi 3.0 TFSI S4/S5 engine is one of, if not, reliable and tunable German engine from that era. Electronics in the other hand is what mostly brings the price down.
Not sure where you got your info for the Audi A7, but it was never sold with a 3.6L NA V6 with 245hp. The only gasoline engine options were the 2.8L NA V6 with 204hp, the 2.0L TFSI 4cyl with 250hp (both were for international markets only), and the U.S. engine, the fantastic 3.0L TFSI supercharged V6 with 306hp. There was an A7 TDI with a 3.0L Diesel V6 as well, but that was pretty rare and made about 240hp. The 3.0L TFSI is a real sweet motor, pretty much the same one as in the S4/S5 of the era, and they're reliable and not too difficult to work on. Fantastic cars with a bunch of tuning potential and a strong aftermarket, but good luck finding a roadworthy one under 10k. I'd still have one if it weren't for my S7😁
Can you make a list for newer cars around 10-15k? I really like some of the project cars you show but need something reliable and looks good. Thanks

Fun fact about the Speed6s the AWD system has active torque vectoring so it can go anywhere from a 100-0 to 50-50 mix depending on what you need of course it is fwd bias sadly but still cool to see
Dang it, I missed you! I went to bed before you posted, but I heard the news! I will be staying up all night for the Solara vid. I love the car so much.
Lexus Gs300 beat car ive owned, Fast, Luxury, reliable as hell, 2jz, insane potential, big enough for many passangers, very very fun to drive and if you know how to fix ot up you can get one for easly under 10k
Checks and balances must be considered tremendously here. Although spending less than 10K on a used car mentioned in this list, all these modifications shown, is worth more than the actual value than 10 K……Therefore anticipate spending 20, maybe 30k or higher for everything after all is said and done…..depending on how much modifications have been done. In addition to this, the value of these vehicles doesn’t change regardless. And if one decides to sell afterwards, you’ll still end up losing money, due to that dreaded elephant in the room, called depreciation no matter how much money spent on dressing it up aesthetically and performance wise. It’s just the nature of the car market in general. Most car buyers use, abuse, and dump. While others buy one time, and really pay close meticulous attention to their maintenance to ensure extraordinary long life out of them. Thanks for posting brotha😇🙏👍…..interesting segment though 🙏👍
Some nice cars here; a couple I wouldn't mind owning/driving. We're a two-person, four-car family right now, but we'll likely sell one passenger car and my 1988 Mustang GT and get something like what's on this list.
Thanks for the video…. Nicely done. Was hoping to see the Hyundai Genesis R-Spec 5.0 (2012-1214) but it’s extremely difficult finding one for under 10k. They seem to average around 12k to 17k.
Car prices in US are nuts! I swear I can`t find any of those in Europe for under 15-20k... P.S: The Jag XF u showed is actually an XE, and with the engine you mentioned (25T - 250hp) they start at 15k for the first gen. I owned the last gen (2020+), same engine, for about 2 years and sold it 6 months ago for like 30k.
Can’t decide between bmw E90, F30, and an Audi S4, or a Mercedes… really like the depreciation on luxury cars…but also…like B58 on bmw goes crazyy haven’t done enough research on Audi and Mercedes engines but I’ll hopefully decide ones I pay some bills off first!
Thank you for this type of video, I search a car actually, but can you do a episode for car under 10k and before 1995 please, in my country its actually inexpensive than have a recent car
The only Q50s worth buying are the low mileage ones with all service records. Especially when it comes to the 3.0. And I HIGHLY recommend a warranty with that 3.0 if you plan to daily drive it Now with the B8 S4, that car is a really great choice. I would love to replace my Q50 with one or a C7 A6 with the same engine
you can also find the 06-07 accord in a sedan with a 3.0 v6 making 245hp 6 speed manual. or a auto hybrid v6 making a little more power but no manual for 3-7k
Randomly stumbled on this video. Randomly clicked on the #12 car right after watching your intro. Everything stated about the A7 is incorrect. US A7s are supercharged 3.0 V6s making ~311hp
Mazaspeed 6 is “awd” buuutttt it’s fwd until the car starts to slip then it will kick into “awd” and it might even be a 60/40. I would research that one a little more. At the end of the day they aren’t true all wheel drive cars👍
can you talk more about Alfa Romeos or BMW E82 1 series or a bit more expensive cars like Porsche Caymans or best sports cars for 60k or 50k or 30k or etc....
Ok my jag xf supercharged v8 was the BEST car I ever owned and was EXTREMELY reliable for me for a long time yet I stayed with maintenance and schedules. With the muffler delete.. everyone’s head turned Such a dope car Only reason it’s gone is cus of a deer I have a Mazda 3 2020 manual and I HATE this POS IT FEELS LIKE SLOW BORING ELECTRIC CAPPED JUNK NEVER BUY THE NEW MAZDA I’m totally getting my jag back
Im thinking of buying a manual car for under 5k (first car of my own), what do you think is the best between these: 7th gen celica gts (or other car with the 2vv), sentra ser spec v, honda fit, or civic si?

I think the taurus SHO is a great car but i think the downside is how heavy it is being 4200+ pounds
If it loses 600 lbs , it’s a beast. Plus it needed around 400hp
Good luck on buying the house, massive W

the w204 v6 is indestructible best engine they ever made i have one thats 250k+ and runs like a dream
