The thing is, this is a small part of Benidorm. I was in the "you can't pay me" crowd until I went last year. We stayed in a small town about an hour away and we did a day trip to Benidorm to have a look around - the majority of the seafront was family friendly and pretty quiet. The beach is really nice. If you're not up for the hen and stag mayhem, it's easy to avoid. That's not my scene at all and we just didn't go to that area. Benidorm exceeded my expectations, I was prepared for it to be a dump based on the reputation, but it's a decent place.
People often comment on Benidorm, likely not helped by a certain tv show lol, but there are so many places just like Benidorm that people use for cheap holidays. You take the rough with the smooth. Benidorm has often been a good place for cheap, family affordable holidays long before the new town became as popular as it is now, go at certain times of the year and as you stated, it’s much quieter, more pleasant, I know they have a theme or water park too. I’d happily go, I’d likely stay in the old part and venture to the new town for a few evenings out for fun, but my drinking days are over 🤣 so I’d just go to people watch, for the entertainment and maybe a nice drink on the beach! It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t please everyone!

Been to Majorca a few times but we prefer the nightlife in Benidorm. The beach is lovely! You can go to bars, pubs, clubs or karaoke. Doesn't have to be a wild night. The beach bars are lovely of a night. ❤
A couple of year ago I went on a 53 lad stag do end of April. It was insane...all them stag and hen parties cancelled because of covid all came at once.. Stayed at the Marina hotel. Paid a big room deposit. Food was horrible. Couldn't wear any night time stuff at the hotel restaurant as your clothes would stink of the grill. Place was wild. First night we wore Hawaiian shirts then we bumped into another 20 strong lads stag do all wearing Hawaiian shirts as well...the place was full of lads in Hawaiian shirts.
I watched your video from early this year in Benidorm and i met up with the guys from Project 4 all, they help people around the Benidorm and north Costa Blanca. We had a great meeting and i'm hoping to meet up again soon with another special gift. I live about an hour from Benidorm and it really is a crazy place, however pick the hotel and area you stay in and its beautiful. Personally, when we go away for a weekend break we jump on a flight to Ibiza "very cheap flights" and party over there. Yes its a bit more expensive but less crazy. Anyone going to Benidorm over the next few months please try and help the people there that need your help and throw a few euro's into a collection box or maybe if you see someone on the street that looks like they need some help, give them a few euro's. To you it's just another beer or kebab but to them it can be a life saver. You would be very surprised how many people sleep rough there, I live in Spain and I was shocked. That’s exactly how I would describe it,Blackpool on steroids in the sun 😂 been all over the world to party in my youth but Benidorm has that special feeling that it’s not just for young kids and I enjoy visiting yearly for a long weekend knowing my slightly older age won’t catch me out as I considerably young amongst the party crowd in Benidorm 💪🏻 if you want a chill family holiday there’s many a place to go but if you want to relive your youth then there’s no judgement on the strip with feeling old And out of place ✌️
Its not my cup of tea being around the raucous beer monsters. The property issues exist in any tourist areas even where I live in North Yorkshire. Very frustrating for young people to find properties. Rents are high. 🤫
I'm going to Benidorm in a few weeks for a stag, have to say, even after having watched your videos I'm not looking forward to it, far too loud and yobbish for the likes of me. Get me a pizza and a movie for my stag do.

@WendallExplores How are the same streets of Benidorm looking like between 10.00pm to 3.00am once most of the people you met got the chance to drink alcohol and "meet Charlie" for nearly half a day? Do you see much of antisocial behaviours? How much folks end up vomiting or urinating in the street? How many fights? Are the police and the paramedics much solicited? How many folks end up so intoxicated that they are sleeping rough because they can't figure out where their hotel is anymore? Thank you for videos, I really appreciate their contents! 👍 All the best, 💛

That’s exactly how I would describe it,Blackpool on steroids in the sun 😂 been all over the world to party in my youth but Benidorm has that special feeling that it’s not just for young kids and I enjoy visiting yearly for a long weekend knowing my slightly older age won’t catch me out as I considerably young amongst the party crowd in Benidorm 💪🏻 if you want a chill family holiday there’s many a place to go but if you want to relive your youth then there’s no judgement on the strip with feeling old
And out of place ✌️
1. Crocheting an knitting was it euphemism?😂 2. Why u wearing a fleece on the beach you psycho?!😂 brill video ❤
A thinly veiled euphemism
Ur best video yet
Its not my cup of tea being around the raucous beer monsters. The property issues exist in any tourist areas even where I live in North Yorkshire. Very frustrating for young people to find properties. Rents are high. 🤫
Rent high most places now
You can have a mad holiday or a nice calm one in the old town something for everyone !
LOVE Benidorm for that exact reason 🎉
Easy to chill there too
I'm going to Benidorm in a few weeks for a stag, have to say, even after having watched your videos I'm not looking forward to it, far too loud and yobbish for the likes of me. Get me a pizza and a movie for my stag do.
You’re in for a rough ride 💀
@@WendallExplores Lol thanks!
You'll be fine after a couple of beers mate.
Few weeks, you sure he's going to return for the wedding?
Hi Wendell, random, but what did you do for work before the UA-cam days? Love the vids, currently in Poland and back to the UK this weekend. God bless. 🕊️
Ran pubs and restaurants mate
@WendallExplores How are the same streets of Benidorm looking like between 10.00pm to 3.00am once most of the people you met got the chance to drink alcohol and "meet Charlie" for nearly half a day? Do you see much of antisocial behaviours? How much folks end up vomiting or urinating in the street? How many fights? Are the police and the paramedics much solicited? How many folks end up so intoxicated that they are sleeping rough because they can't figure out where their hotel is anymore?
Thank you for videos, I really appreciate their contents! 👍
All the best, 💛
Hey Wendall looking frowards to this❤❤❤Lord have mercy on Wendall😇
No mercy was shown
I suppose it's a fine place if all you do is drink all day and talk shite.
They could have saved their money and just stayed at home in their local to do that?
Weatherspoons on sea. Luckily Benidorm sucks up all the wrong'ens so the rest of Spain is lovely 😂
Myself included
Brit’s abroad = chaos! Lol
Some people like such a holiday, some don't,no big deal, matter of choice.
Nothing compared to 18s to 30s in the 90s 😂😂
X
My idea of hell,,no you certainly could ot pay .e to go there
Everyone has a price
Not Me
Live and let live.
Would have been more interesting if you'd been there when it had been getting crazy at night! That's the real content we wanna see!!
Yes. I get the feeling it was just warming up.
'Black pool on steroids' haha
... 1:33 - "Where's Ya Cigar ? "
Would seem the cost of living crisis hasn't affected the masses. Everyone seems well fed and watered.
Overfed maybe.
Cost of living? It would cost me more to get a pint in central London, than what it would cost to get a Ryan air to this place.
13:50 - Wasn’t that the guy from blow and go 😂
Concerning of all the men dressing as women.
I thought it very strange.
Literally that’s my worse nightmare
Last week in July and all of August is when it's mad... It's just the start of the season...
More families and couples that time I’m told
Just got back.. been before..but this time got caught up in this stag/hen rubbish.. won't go back at this time of year again..if ever..🙄
Benidorm: a town unspoiled by healthy livers
I feel ashamed to why some of us English have the mind set!😮
Why don’t you just mind your own business
Wow, that looks lively 🎉 I live in La Linea near Gibraltar. You should come and visit Gibraltar, such a unique place and with beautiful landscapes in ‘Campo de Gibraltar’ in Spain.
I would find Gibraltar really interesting
@@WendallExplores My BF can show you around on his 1800cc motorbike. Through the rock of Gibraltar, Europa Point, great stuff. @SteveM109r
Jesus, someone is going to wake up next to Lorna’s do, poor lad
All looks pretty tame to me!!!
Looks a fun place in truth, if I was a lot younger I would go
