These are the reasons why law abiding citizens should be allowed to conceal carry, it would surely stop alot of robberies, because robbers would have to think real hard before committing the crimes not knowing if there's a chance that they will be able to walk away from the robbery or not.
I'll bet here in NY state the victim world be charged with assault and battery....then sued by the assailant, then put in prison 🤬
I live in a city where -- easily -- 40% of the adult males (and up to 20% of the adult females) are armed. We have very little crime here.
Every citizen should realize that cops do not protect us: there are not enough of them, and criminals rarely commit violent crimes when there are LE nearby. Cops mostly investigate crimes that have already been committed -- that is, AFTER THE FACT. That doesn't help the injured or DEAD victims.
Also, laws do not protect us: criminals don't obey laws, and what good is a law when you've already been victimized and are injured or dead?
We must protect ourselves and others by being well armed, well trained, and willing to do what it takes to stop violent criminals.
Pay attention to your environment (environmental awareness) and to the situation (situational awareness). There is plenty of information available online, free.

I was raised in a legit crime family fueled by addiction, abuse, etc & my family & self got & did far more time for far less & I changed my wicked ways, now have 15 yrs off EVERYTHING & ❤❤ to see pple fighting back for I ddnt do these type of crime's & feel it's despicable period. Lol, I'm getting old, but sometimes people tell me I seem scary/intimidating. I guess maybe that is a good thing in retrospect. I'm not mean or anything, I'm just not tolerant of bad behavior. I love the peeps...But stay off my lawn unless you're invited. Peace, Love!!
My state was anti gun so I moved. Now I carry a Walther PDP 9 mil. And the move, best thing I ever did. We have no crime to speak, But 3 in 5 carry here, Like walking in a cop bar, thinking your gonna rob it.. LOL
Where I live, I would guess, conservatively…, 50% or half of the farmers in the area are not to be messed with in anyway shape or form they are ready, and more than willing to defend their lives, their family, and their property. And they will not apologize. Robberies do not happen where I live., if the homeowner is home. Everyone is armed… including myself. I cannot speak for others, but I have a line I have drawn, which is a threshold of my house.
Damn shame the way society has headed....the time to fight back looks like it's here

People in my part of texas, with 10 or more acres, tend to have twice as many guns as dogs. So, if you attempt to rob a property with 6 b or 7 dogs on hand, you will be dealing with an owner that has 14 or more guns.

Criminals are opportunistic and they don’t care if they hurt some one but they scream bloody murder if they get hurt or caught. I grew up watching western movies which portrayed regular people carrying guns even inside a bank. Yes there WERE bad guys in those days too but people knew that you were responsible for your property and your safety before anyone else. And if you tried you had at least a 50/50 chance. With a little practice your odds got much better. But I understand that life is hard for everyone. I would respect someone that needed help coming to me asking for help but not if they came in the dead of night and trying to steal my property. Where is the respect that everyone deserves?
