I got the sandpaper/granular Talons, and they are a homeowner except where grip meets your skin if you carry it. However, you can easily knock the granular down with many items lying around your house.
You can also take a round object like a pen or screw driver and roll it across like a rolling pin if you want to knock it down a bit. Heating with a hair dryer first helps. Great video !!
I have the talon grip pro on my shield and it feels amazing. It honestly feels better than a stippled grip. I noticed it doesn't last as long as the regular one's though. It's something you'll probably have to change once a year if it's your carry gun. It's rough for the first week but once it breaks in it feels more like a carpet or something. If you install it make sure you use a hair dryer and get it super hot and smash it down on the polomer. A lot of people don't install them the correct way.
Just added my first talon grip the rubber type to my G43x mainly for recoil control on fast follow ups its snappy because of how light weight it is. So I hope that helps a bit. Hope they last awhile on there, From what ive read there pretty durable.
Yeah I agree with the break in period with the pro grips. Definitely my favorite grip. Combine this with the G43x mos and you've got a great EDC imo. My Staccato C2 is collecting dust.
@@robertsalyers1351 It's my favorite Glock hands down. I have ss-15 mags and mag well. Ameriglo idot night sights, Ghost maritme spring cups. extended slide stop and shield arms steel mag catch. Holosun 407k green. talon pro grips.

To sum it up and save about 10min. Some people love them - some people don’t!
Just ordered the Pro Grip for my G34
I just ordered the Pro for my glock 43x
Its a great idea for some quick mod and not permanent
👍
looks like someone was putting fruity pebbles in the mix lol
May try pro mat, glock 43 way to slick with rubber ones took off ,stock gun better i thought. Granulates too rough but pro looks perfect .

@@russdennis7026 very nice set up..thanks
I put these on my 19 gen 5, that standard grip is to rough on my palm after 100 rounds
Hands down the Pro are far superior
I want to try those pro grips, but the look is silly as hell. multi colored specs on what looks like carpet lol.
Granulated does not really get softer with use
Will oil corrode this rubberized grip?
what’s that little plate on the back of your 43x? looks like it helps with racking the slide?
Yes it is. I thought I would try it out but decided I liked it better without it.
Where did you get the back plate for the 43X
It’s a slide racket from BCM. Just trying it out. It’s not a bad idea but it pokes me in the side a little bit.
Have tape for revolvers?
Thanks i think im going rubber
What kind of sights are on the 48 with the optic?
Try Spartan Tactical
Do they feel at all like actual sand paper.. I hate the feel of sand paper.. Its like nails on a chalk board for me lol
Both of these are comfortable. The pro may have a touch of that sand paper feel at first but it wears in after a couple of days.
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO is the pro ok for IWB though?
@@whatfreedom7 Yes it is.
lmfao thanks for letting us know its safety checked hahahah
Bro these reviews are so extra
