I am 71 in July I workout with weights . cycle and walk everywhere take no meds never nesd to visit a doctor and don't need any fad diets I just stay away from junk .it's a fact that people have healed them self's on keto , plant based, and even starch based diets just don't eat junk.

Why should we avoid Ginseng until our 60s? I’m currently taking a ginko + ginseng supplement, should I just do ginko by itself?
And when you say “unless you’re sick” does that mean just cold / flu? Or chronic illness such as neuro degenerative illness / cognitive decline, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, etc?
Small doses of Ginseng now are fine, but it is incredibly strong and can overstimulate the body similar to caffeine but in a different way. When I say "sick" I mean if you have what's called a "Qi deficiency" in Chinese Medicine or adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, the common cold or any illness that causes weakness.
Do you recommend red meat &organ meat for cancer reducing/recovery diet instead of a plant based diet?
Some of these things mentioned can raise TsH levels such as olive oil, pomegranate and for people with asthma/allergies they are told to stay away from mushrooms, onions. What do you suggest to replace these things with?
I don't believe that is the case for everyone. But for your unique situation, you may consider more berries, meat, cooked vegetables and taking a organ/liver/glandular supplement.
Really interesting information. Just wanted to ask which green tea do you recommend. Is loose green tea better or can you use the green tea in supetmarkets that come in tea bags?
Mushrooms are made with high doses of amino acids. Seems ~everyone fails to mention this/.

I would look for a brand that has the harvest date. You typically get what you pay for.

Do we get off of our Vitamin D during the Spring an Summer months?
I was told to stay on all year.
If you're getting a lot of direct sunlight then you can. I personally do. But some people still don't get much even in the summer months.
I remember an episode of yours with the top 10 foods to avoid and top 10 to eat, you mentioned kefir any type in particular that you think is best?
I think kefir (if it's raw A2 dairy) is excellent for some people and coconut kefir.
Go on eBay,buy kefir grains,get organic milk and make your own it's really simple
Any mushroom alternatives, like the mushroom coffee. I don’t eat mushrooms doc.
Steam cook it and add it to your smoothie. I don't taste it when I add mushrooms.
Mushroom coffee is great. Or taking them in capsule or powder form.
Fresh organic mushroom that you mentioned are pretty expensive in Whole Foods.
What about organic portobello mushroom?
All mushrooms have benefits, some more than others. Russians use chaga to fight cancer.
You need to add yoga to your list.

Don't eat meat or fish then. But eat all the rest and take methylB12 supplements or else you can get seriously ill, like I did👀
Then consume the vegan foods I mentioned along with lentils, beans, mushrooms, nuts, seeds and plant-based protein. You may also consider a methylated b-complex supplement.
