dude, I won silver in National championship from taking knowledge from you and implimenting in my technique. You are the coach I've ever seen on youtube.👍💖 Edit : Thanks for 69 likes
Bro, same target. First of all I have to give my trials in the school which are 3 months later. If I will get selected I will play reginal level from my school and if I will do good in that I will get selected for nationals. Hope I will get medal for my school 🎯
Tell you what Tony. Im 36 in march i started boxing in september and i have my 1st fight in april. Your videos has helped me out so much my coach was impressed with what i have learned its good enough for a fight. Never in my life did i think id do boxing let alone at my age. So i wanna say thank you 🥊🥊🥊
I started in September aswell but I’m 17 and still got a long way to go for a amateur fight but well done to you as you must of worked hard for this especially at an not old but disadvantaged age as most athletes are in their 20’s
@@randomvidz8742nah bro your starting at a good age most of these guys who are pro have been boxing since they were 10 thats why some of these dudes are so nice when they hit 20
I have been slowly making my way through all of your videos, supplementing the training I am getting with my group weekly. The main coach of my group made a comment last week that "those Tony Jeffries videos are really working" and that he is noticing an improvement every single week. I realize I have never properly thanked you. Thank you Tony Jeffries! You are slowly molding this primordial ooze into a boxer. Love and respect from Canada
Hello coach, I started boxing about 2 months ago because your videos inspired me to start and I can surely say it is one of the best things I could've done with my life. Thank so much master Jeffries
I've been loving these 'no equipment' hole workout series because I think it really makes boxing training more accessible! I especially liked the video where it's just like a follow-along 20-minute workouts with your wife. Keep up the good work!
It looks so easy, but it is so hard to master when you have zero knowledge in boxing and are just throwing punches with zero technique. I am 43 years old and love watching combat sports such as boxing and MMA. This year, I want to add boxing to my training routine, and oh boy, I was not expecting it to be this hard But thanks to your videos, I can get into the details of how the technique works.
Watching these has helped me remember what I was taught in boxing from my youth and now I got myself a heavy bag I can use this to burn fat and strengthen my body!! Thanks Mr Jeffries
Hey Tony! Thanks for all your work making these videos for us, I’m just getting into boxing at 40 🤪. I work a heavy job and thought I was fit… nope!!! 🤣. Hope you have a great 2024 and thanks again!
Here's a video idea you and your wife could do together. Since she's a nurse based on something I'm currently experiencing, I will have two weeks left to prepare for a fight if I recover as fast as I'm hoping anyway .What should a boxer do if they give us a VA respiratory infection and flu during their training camp? How do they recover and is it possible that they can still take the fight? Or just how should boxers handle when they're sick? can they return to training? I know the obvious is go to the doctor and that's being done, but I would love to hear your advice or if you've ever experienced something similar
Sir thank you ive been watching your videos and really learned a lot in times, can we please ask you another video on proper stepping on check hook. Thanks
I love watching you and I think if a guy practice maybe one or two of those drills and nothing else if you got an emergency on the street you might be able to punch your way out of it pretty quick if you just stepped up and start pounding.
I saw one of your vids from like 3 years ago, was a 1 -2, slip 2 thing Not sure you remember that one but yeah saw it practiced it for a few days hit the gym did it again feel great did well Even a few of the VIetnamese boxers here said i had some good combo movements So i came back to find more and NEVER realized you were an olympic boxer - thats wild A Super lat congrads on it :) Great content though on @ home boxing and drills....so much better than these mayweather and similar ones
I'm sure you've covered this extensively in other videos coach, but I have a hard time focussing on putting my full body behind each punch. The power still mainly comes from my upper body only, inspite of pivoting my feet and hips with each punch. Any tips/ mental cues to fix this?
The guy was good he's have been doing boxing way longer than me. I but i think he was unfit because his movement was slow and his jabs n bit flobby😅But it was a great fight😁
Hey @tony_jeffries. I have been boxing for a while now but from my own... no gym nothing. So I was wondering maybe you can see my shadow box and all. And tell me my mistake....
