I was gonna say that you could fix all the problems, by upgrading to Android. Plus you'd get 3 year old tech and features that crApple is just innovating now.

One thing for sure, maintenance gotta be waaaaay cheaper than the German competitors. So its definitely a win for me
Absolutely, this is the new Lexus. I have a G70 3.3 AWD. It cost me less than a new pickup truck and I can’t say enough good about it.
Give Genesis a few years it will Lexus place in the market!!
Its already beaten lexus for reliability. Their 1st year if eligibility(after 3 years of ownership) they beat the top of the heap.

Genesis actually claims the quietest cabin in the segment with the Active Noise Cancellation system added for the 2020 model.
I wouldn't call it a bargain, makes it seem cheap. This is a good looking, well built vehicle at a great price.

Thanks for the excellent review. I'm interested in how the G90 drives, and found your observations of the its ride, handling, silence, and particularly the audio system and torque characteristics were very on-point and helpful to me. The night driving was helpful too.
To answer your question, I'm shopping for a large luxury sedan--I don't need to haul more than four, and I prefer the handling/comfort/silence/performance/mgp of a sedan over a SUV. I'm leaning towards the G90 for its luxury, and because I prefer value over the prestige of a German brand. And killer looks to boot--I love the matrix wheels (Genesis calls them "chrome alloy").

I'd definitely get this over a Mercedes. The V6 seems plenty fast that I wouldn't need a V8. Also, Genesis cars tend hold up over time compared to Mercedes, so I've heard.

Considering this car for my channel because of the NA V8. I have a 2015 Genesis 5.0L and it's been great for the past 5 years.

How’s the plastics on the dash and the rear console? Was wondering about the plastic quality in the cluster gauge. Some cars have cheaper plastic and it scratches easily, was wondering if you noticed anything

I decided to order one. Just loved the looks and features. Price is cherry on top!
Touch screen is convenient if a passenger wants to change the music or take care of navigation. When using the infotainment system when parked, I would more likely use the touch screen. That feature is a definite plus and what I expect in a high end car.
The safety setting for the window actually isn’t a new thing! My step dads 2016 F-150 XLT has it as well.
Please do an updated review on the new 2022-2023 model! Looking to buy one and I’m literally just waiting on your review to make my decision, I saw Raiti’s and I’m pretty into it
Really great review. I'm vacillating between the GV-80 the G-80 and this G-90. In any case it's going to be a Genesis. Where I live you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a BMW, an Audi or a MB. Genesis just stands out among them.
I love the bold front grill but I also live in a state that requires plates on the front of the car. Imagine how stylish that looks coming down the road with a license plate stuck in the center.

Honestly i realized hyundai started takeing the game seriously after 2003. Since then there cars were getting better. The 2005 year cars are kinda whem they realized they were doing good enough to start a luxury version of their cars.
I have the 2018 AWD G90 Ultimate. I wouldn't trade it for any other luxury car.
I want this car 🤔 the V8 version though. And yes maybe Hyundai/Genesis is carving out an automotive niche for themselves. Meaning it's better than say a Maxima(fully loaded) but not as spectacular as a Mercedes?
I would absolutely buy this if money was magically gonna show up, I already traded in an Audi a6 for a Kia that had more features. And my god, the maintenance costs are miniscule by comparison.

I had a 2017 G90 5.0 AWD that I replaced with a 2020 G90 5.0 AWD. The G90 is the best car that nobody ever heard of. I can't count the number of times I've been asked - what is it? Who makes it? Is it a Chrysler product!!? Wow. Genesis needs to do two things. First ADVERTISE! Second - stand alone dealerships. What Mercedes, BMW or Audi buyer is going to go to a Hyundai dealer to spend $80?
Lol I own a G80, I wanted the V8, now I’m gonna have to buy a G90 for that. And they can handle well enough.

If the quality is good, this Hyundai should be a serious option for potential buyers.

why don't you address the main concern for most people who spend this kind of money on expensive cars? which is the warranty! that alone from genesis is a lot better than Mercedes or audi. that has to factor in somewhere! If, you talk about only styling and etc. people will buy the Brand ONLY and not looking down the road a few years after most Mercedes warranties or Audi's EXPIRE. I think..I know the GENESIS STAND BY THERE WARRANTY. AND IT'S BETTER! Mercedes basic warranty is 4/50 REALLY..Lifetime power train covers engine and transmission BUT, ONLY if you keep up with routine and yearly maintainence which would kill the average person TOOOO EXPENSIVE .. Better Choice would be the Genesis g90 basic 10/100k and at certain dealerships you can get 20/200k from FACTORY NOT 3RD PARTY..I'M DONE
