What impresses me about Poland is how clean the streets are and how charming the architecture is. I drool over the amazing food and how nicely it's presented, even at what appear to be reasonably priced restaurants. I really enjoy your travelogues almost as much as I enjoy the cooking episodes. Thank you for these glimpses into your country.

You guys are the best x1000000 Thank you for taking the time to show off Polska specially when you include the voice over and all giving the history and explaining facts. I'm Polish but never seen Polska as it is now. wow. You made me crave Poland, living in Toronto when I vacation I look at cost, here's a breakdown: flight to Poland on LOT $1700 an all inclusive in Venezuela, Barbados or Tobago $1200 Guess who wins. Any who wow the Baltic area has transformed. When I was a kid we would go up there, but that was to a sanatorium owned by STAR where my parents worked, STAR is no more it got taken my MANN, but my town Starachowice remains on the map. Anna's right, because we Poles HATE to throw away food, to repurpose one thing to make something new(pazcki and ice cream sandwich) that's a polish thing if there ever was. And brilliant!! Make mine raspberry filled pazcki and dark chocolat ic cream please. Yummm. Mike

I have been watching your videos for a few weeks and this one was very interesting. Before Covid my wife and I and her 80+ year old had booked a trip to Poland. My wife's grandparents were all of Polish decent. We were looking forward to the trip and then Covid hit. My brother-in-law is probably not going to go with us in the future. Your videos have caught me and I am enjoying everything about Poland.
Mark I thank you for your service and am happy that you will enjoy retirement with your wife and daughter in Poland.
I will get back to watching!

I hate to rain on your parade, but I can only see the prevalence of what I call Euro ice cream which is a bland, tasteless cold cream that has a lot of sugar but very little if any flavour. I first visited Poland 10 years ago and was blown away by the wonderful traditional ice creams and sorbets made with locally grown fruits. They had so much flavour I couldn't stop eating them. Comparing those with what is offered as ice cream now is like day and night. I cannot bring myself to eat this Euro sweet sickly ice cream. If this is progress you can keep it.
On the other hand, I live the variety of fish in the seaside restaurants and proper sandy beaches ⛱ 👌 😄

You must’ve not had good luck with it. I’m sure there are plenty of 💩 ice-cream here in Poland but the good ones are absolutely amazing. I think the key is to find a small, non-chain places who make their own. Happy looking 😉

I was watching this and heard what you said Mark about your problem with the word "Cheap", but I have a problem with that simply because of the fact that I use the word "CHEAPER" when I am trying to explain that certain things DO cost less; in some cases a LOT less than in the US. My husband Mark and I are in the middle of making arrangements to be able to move to Poland, to Lublin, within this year to a year and a half, and one of the reasons is so that I can go back to college to get my MA in Theology. Now because of my newly obtained Citizenship I will not be paying tuition there, but even if I were attending as a foreign national, I would still only be paying about $3,000/year aproximately, whereas if I were to try and attend even an online university here like Catholic Distance University; I would be paying between $20,000 to $30,000/year just for the tuition. So yes, in this case, the word "cheaper" does come into play which just means it is less expensive.
