    I watched this video several days ago and was intrigued so I made it. It's everything you said it would be! Thank you for such a delicious treat. The pastry is fantastic and has my mind in a hamster wheel spinning with creative ideas. Much appreciation!! On a more solemn note, know that Poland and all surrounding countries are in may thoughts and blessings every day. Let's hope that matters are quickly resolved and the muscle of Russia gets a major cramp!

    Can not wait to make this for my family's Easter dinner along with the salads you shared in a previous video. I just placed an order, like minutes ago. Will be making Zurik when its delivered. Thank you for all the recipes. You all are a blessing and I appreciate the time and energy you devote to sharing it all. My momma has dementia and lives with my husband and me. Her eyes just light up when I talk about what we are having. So thank you for putting the sparkle and bringing back memories for her. Big hugs to you both.

    Can't wait to try this! I do love me some sweetened condensed milk caramel! Love to dip slices of apple in it.
    I usually make a similar version using plum butter filling with a lattice top and sprinkled with walnuts.

    I can see using pecans and you have a turtle desert. Or add cooked bananas in bourbon omit the chocolate and you got a bananas Foster desert. Nice base.

      We most definitely stand with the people of Ukraine, and condem Russias invasion of this wonderful country. We do want to do something, but are thinking about how to do it respectfully and with the intent of support, and not using our videos as click bait, or for our profit. We will come up with something for sure. Thanks for watching!

    Your content is my new obsession! I'm a second generation polish (on my father's side) in NY and since my Polish Grandmother passed I've missed her and her food. Since her passing and having kids of my own I've been teaching myself how to make her recipes and now I plan to try yours as well. Thank you for your channel and helping keep our family culture alive! Hopefully my daughter and son will continue making some of our family recipes and yours when they are grown.

    Hope this gets to you; I looked for the latest video to respond to. In your video showing how to make sauer kraut, you had a huge cabbage that I think you called a yung or young cabbage. Could you send me info on where I might be able to get some seeds for that type of cabbage? I try to watch all of your videos and have also contributed to your channel; really enjoyed the Christmas book. Thank you.

      Hi David! That is a very good question. I did some google searching and there are WAY too many cabbage types for me to give you any kind of answer. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I don't have a green thumb and am not well versed in this subject. I wish you the best of luck in your search.

    Bardzo Pani kibicuję i chcę aby odniosła Pani sukces. Ostatnio oglądałam jakiś vlog o polskiej kuchni i podawali przykłady kuchni polskiej (nie pamiętam jaki ale jak Pani chce to mogę poszukać i podać) w języku angielskim i się wściekłam bo było tam tyle byków i bzdur, że aż zęby bolą. Nawet tego nie komentowałam tylko w odpowiedzi zamieściłam tam link do Pani volga, nie wiem czy YT nie usuwa takich wpisów ale nie wytrzymałam. Musiałam się tym z Panią podzielić, a teraz chcę napisać o czymś innym. Mianowicie chodzi mi o ryby. Kuchnia polska ma bardzo długie tradycje kulinarne dotyczące ryb i może warto to pokazać bo ci ludzie nawet nie mają o tym pojęcia, że np. kuchnia polska ma swoją zupę rybną. Wszyscy dostają orgazmu na temat francuskiej zupy rybnej Bouillabaisse, a my też przecież taką mamy tyle, że składniki są z naszej strefy geograficznej. Mamy też zupę rakową, czy raki ale trzeba też mówić o tym, jak to się je. Warto też zacząć pokazywać dania z kuchni staropolskiej i tej bardziej wykwintnej do dziś popularne jak np. galantyna z kurczaka, samo luzowanie kurczaka to już jest sztuka itd. itp. Piszę o tym bo nie znoszę ignorancji, a tym ludziom ciągle się wydaje, że żyjemy w ziemiankach, jemy kartofle (celowo nie ziemniaki), jesteśmy częścią Rosji, mieszkamy na Syberii, a po ulicach chodzą białe niedźwiedzie. Pozdrawiam i trzymam kciuki.

    • @PolishYourKitchen
      @PolishYourKitchen  2 роки тому

      Drogi Ktosiu, niezmiernie mi miło. Mi też, jak czytam te bzdury i byki, o których Pani wspomniała, to też mnie zęby bolą. Dziękuję za podpowiedzi, przyda mi się kilka nowych pomysłów. Rzeczywiście, polska zupa rybna (taka na ostro, najlepsza na kaca) jest nie do pobicia. Galantynę robiłam wiele razy z moją babcią Stasią i uwielbiam, z luzowaniem trochę gorzej, ale trzeba będzie poćwiczyć.
      Tak jak Pani mówi, ludzie myślą, że u nas to jeszcze jest okres międzywojenny i straszne zacofanie, zaskoczeni są tym co widzą w naszych odcinkach "Kitchen's Closed". To jest dla mnie jeszcze większym paliwem. Pozdrawiam ciepło i do "zobaczenia".

    • @worldcitizen123

      @@PolishYourKitchen Bardzo dziękuje za odpowiedź i cieszę się, że ma Pani takie samo zdanie na ten temat jak ja, a to znaczy, że jest nas już dwie, a pewnie i więcej. Cieszę się, że jakoś tam moja pisanina Panią zainspirowała. Jak to mówią w kupie siła. Pozdrawiam i do przodu. 💖
