lmfao i love these videos - been watching for years and i've never heard "this thing ran so good, it almost started without any fuel. it almost started on rust "😂😂😂😂
I bought a 930 in 1985 it was used for snow the previous winter, so it was a 84. I used it for excavation, road building ,clearing lots plowing snow in winter. I sold it to a man that worked for me when I went out of business. that machine still starts and is serviceable.
I enjoy watching you too for the comedy of it and bringing dead things to life My dad would have been a very big help He was a heavy duty diesel mechanic for 42 years I wished I could have been watching this with him He passed away 5 years ago but I know he would have enjoyed screaming at the TV saying you idiot it's right there lol I've been watching since almost the beginning so keep up The good work out there
Good morning from Greece 🇬🇷,dear Mr Hank and Mr Wiley...!!! I wish to you a nice weekend, with healthy and more beautiful moments!!! I like your videos, you are the best...!! Congratulations and be continuing the excellent job you did... God bless both of you!!!
Hank and Wally are doing a good job cranking up heavy I love watching you got two big trucks in Seminole Alabama setting out in the woods 2 Seminole Express big truck
I enjoy watching you guys. You all remind me of a time before covid when old farts like me would get together in the morning and drink coffee and have some not so intellectual at times conversations with some mild bantering amongst neighbors and friends.
Thanks for another great video. It was most interesting and enjoyable. Sorry you could not get it running. If I understand you right it needs the fuel pump system rebuilt to make it run. That is up to the owner. Hank and Wiley thanks for trying to get it to run. Just not this time. Good try guys. The Iowa farm boy. Steve
Thanks for your videos and hard work!! I enjoy them as it reminds me of days before i retired(trucker equip operator). Thanks and i look forward to both your and wileys channels.
Hey Hank and Wiley, I noticed fuel were coming out of injector lines when Wiley was priming it then I immediately noticed there is something wrong with the pump. Fuel is not suppose to leak out to injector lines when priming.
Here's some Caterpillar serial number information. The serial number plate was stamped 41K...., individually the 4, the 1, and the K mean nothing however, when you put them together it clearly tells you this is a 930 Wheel Loader manufactured in the US and shipped approximately in 1968. Then, a 42K serial number prefix is a D5 Angledozer attachment, so the individual characters have no secret code. Your Caterpillar dealer parts or service departments can help with information like this. Many thanks for the great videos, we love every one of them!
Joke time: I saw a video the other day that was titled: "Bulldozer, will it run?" And I thought, Oh boy, nothing good can ever come from messing with a sleeping cow! 😂😂😂😂😂 Ya'll did a good job! Keep up the great work Hank and Wily! God bless!
I enjoy watching you two getting this old work horses running and I understand it is the journey that maters but If you were working with dad he would be pushin for you to hurry up we ain't got all day!
Ran a few of those in the 80's between that a JD544b pushed a lot of dirt, worked for a Electric underground company here in Las Vegas, was easy to get between the houses and back of curb
Also just FYI if you get a 2 gallon pump up sprayer and put diesel in it you can use that as an External pressurized fuel source when in a pinch. It always works good for me. Lee
I have run a cat 930 loader in a supply yard,it was hard to start, run and operate, overheating in summer! The 4 speed gear selector on the steering column was nice though, don't miss running it at all
Smaller than but enough similarities to remind me of the first front end loader I ran in Alaska at a sawmill in1977, it was a 1969 Cat 966. I think it was a B model, but that was a long time ago. I always liked the punch plate design Cat used on their radiator grille on machines of that era. You two together make a good team. I mean separately your good, but it is funnier more entertaining when you're together. Take care.
I would have like to hear it run I bet it would run sweet but some times it not meant to happen on that day Hank you and Wily sure gave it a try that's all you guys can do I enjoyed the video keep them coming
Look at integrated tool carriers. They are loaders but you can remove the bucket from the cab and put on any attachment they offer from the cab forks, jib, sweeper etc.
Batterycables moving every time you bump the starter. Interesting place for a mechanical hour meter, instead of using a Bowden cable to drive a Tacho/hour meter.
A number of you utubers must have gotten new mics awhile back. I can tell much of the sound is very shrill, they need more muffling. Just a thought. Love your channel.
Hank, I would chime in with suggestions about what to check next, but there's just one problem with that idea, it is likely that I am the one person on the face of our Father's beautiful earth who actually knows LESS about diesel engines than you. I fully enjoy y'all's banter and such so it's probably best that I keep my suggestions to myself! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Hey fellows I ran a 920 for years along with a 955 track loader for comer construction up here in Harford co Maryland it was the most fun you could have and get paid for it
I had. A question though for both you and Wylie. Do you ever feel like sometimes? Some of the wires are completely backwards. And when you guys go to work on them. Do you guys ever feel like sometimes? When you go to start it up in the machine itself. You can start it there and then you can't start it on the starter. Does it ever feel like the original owners put things backwards sometimes?
You Guys are Mecteners 25% mechanics 75% entertainers. At least you guys give it a try
lmfao i love these videos - been watching for years and i've never heard "this thing ran so good, it almost started without any fuel. it almost started on rust "😂😂😂😂

Love to watch your videos
You may not be mechanics, but you sure tell good jokes and stories!
Love the jokes and the hour long video
The main reason I watch your videos is to learn
❤😂🎉❤ no pampers ads might help algorithms ooo 😅😅
If you guys aren’t mechanics you do a pretty good job of getting those machines started
Oh Lord or my self going boy boy these two at it again i’m waiting for the phoop he’s tapping his fingers waiting.
I ran a 950 and a 966 in the early 90’s at a sawmill in the Black Hills of South Dakota
Batterycables moving every time you bump the starter. Interesting place for a mechanical hour meter, instead of using a Bowden cable to drive a Tacho/hour meter.
When Wylie was using his welding torch to start the motor one of the battery leads was moving/jumping
A number of you utubers must have gotten new mics awhile back. I can tell much of the sound is very shrill, they need more muffling. Just a thought. Love your channel.
930 forklift version in a sawmill in BC

I fully enjoy y'all's banter and such so it's probably best that I keep my suggestions to myself! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I bet!! Seems like it would be a blast
Dios les bendiga guerreros desde Puerto Rico saludos vendiciones
We used them to clean barges out after clam shelling rock and sand out of them.
I ran a 930, 920, and a 910 at a sawmill, my favorite was the 910, it was a lot smaller, but it was more agile, and it was a lot faster
Hay guys good luck
When you turn the spray can over and push the nozzle it clears the nozzle out.
Love the jokes keep it up.!!
Missing hank jokes........That'd be a blessing 😂
What is a 450b crawler worth may need a motor
That ford galaxy on the way for lunch 😍
I had.

Antifreeze?? Wiley sure smells good. :)
Hank I love your jokes they are goofy
75 times ever video
The round thing with the screw out of it is an hour meter hooked on to the fuel pump. It shouldn’t leak fuel out, but I see that it did.
Heck with the batteries. Where are you all gonna eat lunch?😂😂😂
Hank. You is the entertainer and Wille is.the manichic
