I found a job as a UX but I was looking for it for 1.5 years. I have 3 years of experience as a UX. I found a job on one of the Facebook groups. I only got there because I wrote a post complaining about how hard it is to get a job XD
You are such a blessing. Thank you so much. I'm glad to be a part of your beneficiaries. I'm an Entry Level designer, and I look forward to apply all of this.
How would you recommend showing your breadth of skills? Like coding, product strategy etc. Would you recommend to include it in portfolio projects or have a separate part of your portfolio to display this?
Great question, you should demonstrate it in your projects e.g weave the application of the skill into one of your case studies. You can also demonstrate it in how your porffolio is presented, e.g Coding your own portfolio and making it look really unique.
You stand a better chance if your portfolio is on personal website. It gives you the opportunity to show some personality and recruiters are likely to take you more serious.
This would require another video. If you have some past experience in a different field, frame your resume around the problems you solved in that field.
@samuelfabayo1370 And if you don't have previous experience in any field? I'd love advice for individuals like myself who are fresh into the job market. I look forward to the video then. Thank you!

Hi Sam, i have my work on Behance, does this mean i don't stand a chance in getting a job unless i have my own personal website?

@samuelfabayo1370 Thank you for the clarity.
So it shouldn't be just links to behance on your portfolio site but the actual case study in your website?
try using carrd it's pretty easy to set up and learn, it's also free and better than google sites
A good one
A quick question concerning resumes. How do you suggest an entry-level designer with zero real-world experience craft a resume?
This would require another video. If you have some past experience in a different field, frame your resume around the problems you solved in that field.
