Me encantó la forma de organizar el proceso creativo en Figma: 01:24 FigJAM AI (Research, Plan & Strategy) → Figma AI → (Design UI) → Buzzy AI (No code tool)
This is awesome. Few things i still struggle with in this video: - going from the research go a solution still feels manual. You had to do a lot of work with prompts. - this still requires you to know the flow you want to follow which is not obvious for the average Joe. I love your process. - this is great to quickly prototype, but i would love variations and more tie up with the research which sounds like more work. With all that, the whole thing was fast and this entire thing usually takes weeks, if not months. Great video
I think this was my question covering the transition from research to development. Is there a programmatic connection there or is it reliant on the user to craft prompts based on the research?
So in terms of planning the UI flow, most of that is based on mapping out a flow chart and task diagram, which I touched on in the video. This helps you figure out the conditionals and interactions. Then ideally you would usability test each flow to see if the user moves through it as expected. As for the development, when building with Buzzy and using Automarkup it sort of works out the backend logic and conditionals and then you can either tweak that with prompting or in Figma visually. My example really is just using a simple C.R.U.D framework and I did a quick flow/task diagram which then makes it easier to apply known design patterns.
This was an acquaintance. You can also reach out to colleagues, people in online communities or use a tool like UXtweak to find and screen participants - I have a video on that here ua-cam.com/video/YsHy7FaHUvU/v-deo.htmlsi=askCLxYzSQKeEvC7

It looks like Figma+AI+Buzzy creates a new category of non-engineer generated proof-of-concept. Do you consider the output from Buzzy somewhere in between a high fidelity prototype and a production level app?

You can really do some impressive stuff from there. It is a very simple app with no type of tracking of the usage for capitalization of their usage and economy to run ads for them in their social medias and so on for more developer income. Your app seems very static with no animation between going from one frame to the other which is really needed for the users to feel a flow using it, and that is easy and fast to interpolate with many framworks. I do not think that your app is a native app though. I think it is a hybrid app run in the webviewer component. They are not as fast as native apps. Also, this kind of budget apps are incorporated in every banking app here in Sweden. It is done automatically, so I can see how much I spent on transportation, food, restaurants and so on in categories, without the user needing to label anything, as long as you pay with bankcard. I can tap a catergory and see the history spendings.

Thanks for sharing this. I am on a free figma account, the Figma AI isn't available to check it out... although online forums says it's not about free or purchased account etc that they are rolling this out user by user etc... bummer :( do you have any insight on this?
Yeah I wish I knew in more certain terms, I’m not sure what their criteria is for who gets it when, but I’ll see if I can find some more info and share with everyone in my upcoming video next week!
Exactly. Any decent developer could've made that app as a real functional prototype in an hour or two. Especially if you leverage something like ReactJS with MaterialUI and AWS Amplify.
@fredmercury1314 you are missing the point. It’s not about how fast you can code an app, this is about the depth of research and design time these things take along with coding. It’s also for people who are not already coders.
Non capisco il motivo per cui provo a fare lo stesso procedimento con figjam ma l' aI non mi genera il processo che dovrei fare per svolgere il lavoro ma mi genera direttamente degli insight

Hi there, unfortunately we do not have an internship program. We do have a course however if you are interested in learning from Elizabeth and the community. designerup.co/product-design-ui-ux-course
@@DesignerUp I earn below 30usd per month here in Nigeria and really its bearly enough for my expenses thats why i was suggesting an Intern. I really need a teacher and cant afford the course.
It is super strange way of building product. Prototype is more accurate term for it. The way to prepare and do the research - weird, fully relying on AI without verifications - 99% you will go in wrong direction.
It’s a challenge not a recommendation. This shows the boundaries of how far we can augment our process with AI. As I clearly stated in the video, there’s a lot more than goes into creating usable products.
Good luck building a full app lol you don't control the database, you cannot add any features at all that involve coding, you cannot make it functional either haha I love AI bros, it's like they are trying very hard to replace developers but deliver low quality garbage.
Have you tried building an app yourself with Buzzy? Yes you can add features that involve code and yea you can make it fully functional. No it’s not meant to replace developers, you still need to know what you’re doing to make a quality app, this can just help speed up some parts of process.
Can we get the source code? The core source code in the “engine room”, so to speak? Sorry, no. What's the point of paying for an app monthly that will never be your property? $50 per month for the minimum plan x 12 months equals $600. For $600, you can use Bolt AI to create a ton of apps and download the source file for each one. It's a good tool, no doubt, but it’s not worth renting something you'll never truly own.
Yes this is certainly a concern, but AI is not unique in this. I’m assuming you’ve never flown in a plane or ordered something that required freight transportation? These sources contribute a greater amount of CO2 than AI. Luckily, there are many working on mitigation efforts as adoption grows. Including building Green Data centers, optimizing algorithms and companies like Microsoft and Apple pledging to run all AI systems on renewable energy. It’s definitely something we all need to be aware of and do our part to offset consumption.

Thanks for sharing this. I am on a free figma account, the Figma AI isn't available to check it out... although online forums says it's not about free or purchased account etc that they are rolling this out user by user etc... bummer :( do you have any insight on this?
opps, saw that you answered it already for another person! Thank you, best.
Yeah I wish I knew in more certain terms, I’m not sure what their criteria is for who gets it when, but I’ll see if I can find some more info and share with everyone in my upcoming video next week!
20:32 months seriously! probably hours
If you want it to generate the boards on the canvas for what to do the using choose ‘Brainstorm’ and enter this prompt for example:
A brainstorm.

Hello can i intern with you.. I had like to learn UX from you
Hi there, unfortunately we do not have an internship program.
@spiritadeleke I would recommend checking out ADPList.com where you can get free mentorship sessions.

One Q , WHY……?
Okay but what about Ligma ?
How many developers is this going to put out of a job? LOL
Don’t think it will put devs out of a job, but it will help more non-devs build things.
Well that’s a happy path realistically this process is not gonna work😂
1 user feedback for app and no cross analysis
This saturates the market. Look what happened to graphic design and music. Eventually, things hold no value.
Ui designers are doomed 😂
Do you think what a real designer can do can be done by AI … why you guys just influencing orgs.
*"How I used AI to generate even more CO2 because AI and its server power destroys the planet" Fixed the title for you.
Figma isn't building, premade stuff. this is lazy
I do not consider this to be a real app. The slider isn't even working. dislike. but i liked the first tool
I'm interested in files
