Aquascaping 450 gallon planted aquarium

A little videos/photos slideshow of the 450's build. It took much much more efforts than it looks, however, it was all great fun and I can't wait to do another one! This tank started as a low tech, with mineralized dirt soil for the substrate with no fertilizer or co2. However, I soon discovered that I can't have the growth that I desired without co2, so it's no longer a low tech. I also collected all the rocks and all but one of the driftwoods in there, which was a ton of fun to get into the nature and discovering things.

mostly online, from others who have shared their knowledge, online community and books and youtube :D I had to learn the "how to"s, but I had the vision all along, and that's from imagining it in my head for years lol
