- This is a super easy to crochet Ribbed Hat. It uses basic stitches and is worked in a flat panel. There is no difficult increasing or decreases. This Crochet Ribbed Hat can be made in several sizes. This hat can be worn two ways. It can be folded to create a brim or worn without folding for a Crochet Slouchie Beanie look. Either way looks great as it features the crochet ribs. Crochet Ribbed hats are so pretty and comfortable.

This is such a fantastic video...thanks SO much! I've done a lot of crocheting, but I was looking for a fast, easy way to use up excess yarn. I found this last year and over the summer I made about 60 hats with yarn balls I had left. I brought a bunch to the Veteran's closet and also a pile went to our local shelter. Both places raved to get so many nice/warm hats for winter. I'll continue to do many more this summer for next winter. Thanks again!!
So easy, thank you! I alternated single and double crochets to give it a little different look and it came out great! Closing off was the hardest part, and even then once you remember that it doesn't need to be perfect, everything worked out great!!! Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!

You did a very good job of telling and showing exactly what to do. I crocheted along with you and my results were almost as good as yours. I had a hard time at the ends, when I turned and went the other way. I think I didn't recognize a stitch and my beanie began to get narrower. I was able to increase the 4 stitches with no noticeable problem. Gonna check out more of your videos. Thanks!

just made this hat in 10ply Arcylic he loves it. It was so easy and quick thankyou so much. Its winter here and our grand daughter ( Eve 8yrs old) lost poppy's hat. So no worries now his head will be nice and toasty. thanks again brilliant pattern

I love this! It was actually the 3rd thing I’ve ever made. I believe I made it too tight 😕 I did 37 chains to make it not fold over as much, ended up losing chains, turned out a lot shorter than I wanted (no fold over at all) but still good for me being so new! I’ll definitely retry it and do it looser. But great plan for it and very helpful for explaining it!

Thank you so much for an easy tutorial on how to make this hat. Others I have tried and the information was not right, very hard to follow and I was about ready to give up. I need to make hats for my husband as he has cancer and has lost his hair. Winter coming on and he is even cold in the house. I keep it warm in here but he is cold most of the time.
