Many people have it because of IBS/Candida/SIBO. The intestines are often out of kilter because of leaky gut and imbalance in bacteria. Nutrition alone wouldn't solve IBS, but it would help a lot. Things like bone broth, anti-fungals, cooked vegetables, l-glutamine, and the right probiotics would help. And one should avoid dairy and gluten for a while, at least. Quitting masterbation helps, but the root cause is the unfavourable environment of the gut which leads to candida and disruption in serotonin production as well as other neurotransmitters. Also i have a theory it has something to do with the body not recycling endorphins/adrenalins (ex epinephrine) released during masturbation/sex as this fogs your brain and their levels should decline/increase to normal levels after you have ejaculated or stopped stimulation. But some people's liver can't break it down efficiently and thus they feel foggy for many days after ejaculation until its the chemicals are broken down. Also you could just be rewiring your brain from a masterbation addiction which will probably inflame the brain to change neuron linkages at a colloidal level. In another words to solve this problem all you need to do is get your immune system strong and liver bile flowing properly which will help break down endorphins, and the liver will clean the gut allowing proper serotonin production and uptake which will also heal your depression and anxiety at the same time. This can be done number of ways but can take a few years to heal fully so that it doesn't happen again regardless of masturbation habits. Once fully healed you should be able to masturbate as often as you want if your organs are healthy and can manage it. If you want to know how to heal it and have patience I can tell you. You must have experienced it. You probably even mentioned it, but I was too foggy to either catch it or again ...remember by the time I got to checking a few comments. Some say this issue is brain inflammation which is caused by gut inflammation which is caused by damaging (what we call) foods ...which I'll add; is caused by man's tampering ...for the love of money. I've found that if I simply cut out food my brain feels and functions so much better ; ) , but seriously though, intermittent fasting (18hrs/day) has really improved my brain pressure and the ensuing fog the last couple days. I'm still struggling to find a harmless diet though. Mostly beans & quinoa type dishes presently and salad when I find the time & ambition. The only reason I can make such an extensive comment is because I've been feeling some wonderful relief for most of the past 6 weeks. I see the light (hope) at the end of the tunnel. One thing that has helped me is lemon juice. Adding some lemon juice to your water really helps your brain get more oxygen and can eliminate your brain fog. I buy an organic bottle of pure lemon juice and add some to my water throughout the day. And everything this guy says is golden. I would just add some lemon juice to your water as number 6! For nutrition, if you really want to get your mental health back, go plant-based. (Vegan) If you're eating toxic foods that damages your gut, it will make getting rid of brain fog a lot more difficult. Avoid processed refined sugars as well.
You did not mention sleep apnea, which is far more common than people realize. Also, a diet with fewer carbs and more healthy fats does improve this condition.
sir i thank you for this i have not been exercising i been playing xbox one all day. not catchin up on my sleep and now i know why my brain was like that i have been waking up wondering why i am so tired and now that you let me know what was going on i thank you and god bless you sir 😀
great advice Toby. Can i ask your thoughts on chiropractic care? I've been following Dr John Bergman's advice and getting corrective chiro treatments ("Reversing Fibromyalgia"), along with veg juicing, wholesome food (no gluten, low dairy), drinking bone broth, meditation etc. and am finally recovering. Wish i had found his teachings sooner, he explains how the body works so well!

It’s not good feeling, I’m dealing with foggy now, feels I need more time to concentrate and think to figure something it was on my memory, like today I have to look at the calendar to see what day is today, and other cases I got last on the road while driving, I noticed after 1 hour of going to the wrong way
good video i had thought of most of these but i hadn't thought of blood flow. i have started trying to exercise a little bit for muscle atrophy. the moving around may sound like the hardest one to others but i think its probably the easiest because you only need to get the blood flowing just go to the bathroom or give your arms a little shake. the sleep one is by far the hardest because its something none of us can control, we can go to bed as early as we like but it doesn't stop us laying there un-able to sleep for 5 hours and then waking up every hour and having interrupted sleep.
Is it ok that I go to sleep at 4AM and wake up around noon? I have bad symptoms of brain fog and I also have a anxiety disorder?Ive been told it’s just from the disorder
Far too simplistic answer...You have mentioned nutrition. But that is pointless. Unless your gut microbiome is in balance. 80% of your immune system is in your gut. Also your seratonin is manufactured in the gut. If your gut microbiome is destroyed by antibiotics. Or you are in Adrenal fatigue. Likely have a yeast and parasite imbalance in the gut. Candida. Which can also cause brain fog! As can toxins in the body and lymphatic system...The gut and brain are so connectted. If the microbiome is out of balance so will your brain function and the rest of your body's function. I totally reversed my brain fog. Also my supposed IBS.!! Which was not IBS but gut flora destroyed by too many antibiotics. By making drinking fermented foods and drinks. Water kefir. Avoiding, dairy, gluten, caffine, sugar, alcohol. No white carbs. Clearing the toxic build up in my gut by doing Faith Canters " Cleanse" book. Then eating ferments every day. Huge improvement in all symptoms. Heal the gut first. Most people with cfs will have leaky gut, adrenal fatigue. Untill you heal the gut. Chanfe your diet. Remove all toxins from your home. And stop using toxic chemicals on your skin. The largest absorbative organ in your body. You will not get rid of brain fog. Your brain cannot function without a healthy gut...Read Faith Canter's " Living a life less Toxic" . Faith had cfs recovered and is now a renown cfs/ME coach. Her online support group is free for a month. Then only £ 20 per month. Huge amount of info. Faith us a trained nutritionalist, coach. Yoga EFT. Reflexology, author of 5 books relating to cfs/ ME. Puts lots of free you tube vidios out.A whole mind body healing approach. Which works. You can recover. But healing the gut is key to recovery....that i do know....you will not absorb food untill that gut is in balance. Then your brain fog will go. Regardless of slerp, or how much movement you do. You will feel so much better after " cleanse" then changing nutrition. But in that order....Otherwise your recovery will be at snails pace or you may never recover us the gut microbiome is unbalanced. Do your research. Not medical science as they know sod all. Alternive function medicine practitioners. Who are years ahead of medical science sadly.!! The microbiome is the key to most Dis - ease in the body. Not just cfs/ ME...absolutely fascinating research being done world wide on the microbiome....that is your key to recovery...journalling EFT, meditation, calming the nervous system down. Listen to your body. Sleep when you need too. Reduce your conflict. Learn how to Stop overthinking/ overanalizing...calm the mind. Heal the gut. Then you will feel soo much better....Good luck fellow cfs/ ME recover'ees...You can do this. Without breaking the bank...xxx few water kefir grains i started with. From Amazon. 6 months, i no longer had i bs...the microbiome was healing. My hair stopped falling out. I finally started to put on wieght. Many of my nurological symptoms stopped. After water kefir then " cleanse".... Body brushing is also a good way to remove toxins ,and encourage the lymphatic system to clear toxins. Also epsom salt baths. Removes toxins. And yoy absorb much needed magnesium. When the gut is healed. Then the nutrition, vits, miberals, omega 3 oils will help massivley. As your body can now finally absorb them!!
Toby, I have a question. Without getting into my history, why is it that some antibiotics clear up my problems temporarily, yet the symptoms (debilitating brain fog) return? Is it possible that antibiotics can be efficacious against non-infectious illness? I'm trying to figure out why this is. Forget about soliciting doctors for this info. I am not getting answers

My Cognitive Behaviour Therapist keeps telling me this lol.
My type of brain fog is weird. If I'm watching movies, I have no problem concentrating. But when it's time to read and type reports (my work) my neck starts to hurt, the back of my head feels confused, I just can't think as I used to do before. I am so so tired. I feel like this will be my new normal and I'll never get myself back
How are you now?
I was scared, this is affecting my job, my career, my daily life. I'm happy that there is a way to cure brain fog thank you.
did u cure it???if yes please tell me how??
Poorya kh hey I had foggy brain when I stopped smoking my recommendation is to think positive don’t think bad it will go away alone just wait bout 1 month
My brain fog is SO bad! I am able to sleep from 10:15 PM to 6:00 AM but wake up never rested. 6 years now it’s soooo hard. I do this every day even on weekends.
Then your problem is in your gut just order L glutamine powder and take 3x 10gram per day seperated from meals on a empty stomach or 2 hours after a meal... it will go away in max 3 weeks and eat only cooked vegetables with lean meats in the meanwhile... thank me later your welcome
Trunks Issa will try this out! Do you like a certain brand of glutamine?
@@ciao2315 Glutamine Xplode of the brand "OLIMP SUPPLEMENTS" i like that one allot especially the pineapple taste... this glutamine powder also contains vitamine b6, b12, and vitamin C
Did this work? Are you better now?
Update pls - how are you doing?? 🙏🏼
I'm scared to drive because of my brain fog. :(
I actually did all of my driving lessons while suffering from bad brain fog, also managed to get my licence in one try.
I drive all the time in that state, everybody runs from the street
yes same ! not feeling fully aware doesn't put you in a good place when you're behind the wheel :(
Yep... I hate driving because of my brain fog...
I have the fucking same thing, didnt pas my driving exam because of this, also in conversations its becoming a problem.
From a person suffering from CFS n severe brain fog great advice...
c1/c2 instability can kink inner jugular veins, so the brain doesn't drain properly, the energy goes up, but the waste gets removed slowly. - caused by whiplashes.
Its very weird feeling when it happens
Really appreciate the message in your video... discover.. identify.. what works for you! Listen to your body and respond appropriately. We are all each capable of "healing" ourselves. Thank you. Sleep well, eat to live, engage your mind in active thought and critical thinking, and likewise your body.. move it. Sleep movement nutrition and reconditioning the brain.
I watched this at 2am. sounds right thanks mate
Thank you for the information. It is very helpful.
You are welcome!
sir i thank you for this i have not been exercising i been playing xbox one all day. not catchin up on my sleep and now i know why my brain was like that i have been waking up wondering why i am so tired and now that you let me know what was going on i thank you and god bless you sir 😀
So exercising is normal for you and you can play the computer all day? You CLEARLY do not have CFS and probably dont know what brain fog is.
Brilliant look into it! Seen so many videos on this topic, but this one was most helpful! Thanks!
Do you still suffer from it?
Epic video Tobey. Just what I need to help brain fog atm :)
+Teaghan Watton Thanks!
Also I get sensory overload BAD! Never had hay before CFS. Use to be an energizer bunnyZ
Pls update
Not better but found out I’m dealing with mold, Candida and heavy metals. It’s been a journey. I’d love to wake up rested!
great advice Toby.
+Rhiannon Chaffer I think anything that is working for you keep doing it. THe common sense nutrition would help just about anyone in some shape or form. The fact that you are wanting to recover and improve and putting these things into practise is KEY! Good work Rhiannon. Check out some of the latest articles of mine at www.cfshealth.com and get my free podcasts :)
Drinking bone broth made me sick. I tossed the pot down the window
Hi are you cured out of brain ...plzz suggest me some of the meaaures
Yogic lifestyle is the only answer. Plant and fruit based diet, nutrition, yoga, meditation, pranayam, remain calm and peaceful and avoid toxic people and toxic -processed food.
Do you work with people Toby? Im in the UK, currently not working, so no routine and am very isolated, everything is compounding everything else and I feel totally overwhelmed, very poor sleep and there's so much conflicting information and advice out there. Where I live there's no public transport, no shop, no community and without the right support I feel totally stuck and very foggy....warm wishes, Jackie
Hope your doing well Jackie and your situation improved!
@@smith9157 Oh thank YOU so much. It did and then the pandemic struck, but...now I'm so much more grateful, hopefully x
How are you 8 years on 😊 did your brainfog lift ?
@@samhumphreys8080 how kind of you to ask. Mostly yes, but last 4 years has been pandemic, Dad had a stroke and I went in to menopause! But all good in myself. Thank you so much for asking. How are you?
@@Froglet1968 Glad to hear it and it also gives me much needed hope for my future , I'm still early on in my CFS diagnoses and Im not doing too good I feel like I have dementia and suffering everyday with word retrieval etc 😔
hey luv your videos really help with my condition
Dear Toby, I cannot find the video you mentioned on exercise. Could you give me the link please? Thank you.
It’s not good feeling, I’m dealing with foggy now, feels I need more time to concentrate and think to figure something it was on my memory, like today I have to look at the calendar to see what day is today, and other cases I got last on the road while driving, I noticed after 1 hour of going to the wrong way
About how long does it take to relearn? My brain fog has gone away thanks to your advice, however, I still have short term memory loss.
good video i had thought of most of these but i hadn't thought of blood flow. i have started trying to exercise a little bit for muscle atrophy. the moving around may sound like the hardest one to others but i think its probably the easiest because you only need to get the blood flowing just go to the bathroom or give your arms a little shake. the sleep one is by far the hardest because its something none of us can control, we can go to bed as early as we like but it doesn't stop us laying there un-able to sleep for 5 hours and then waking up every hour and having interrupted sleep.
Thank you for a clear explanation.
wow that makes sense!! my sleep is not a deep sleep i think, too much lucid dream and waking up in between
Thank you again Toby for another insightful video... Namaste ☯
Thank you for making this wonderful video !
Love the car analogy! I think of myself like that all the time, LOL....
Is it ok that I go to sleep at 4AM and wake up around noon? I have bad symptoms of brain fog and I also have a anxiety disorder?Ive been told it’s just from the disorder
Encouraging. Takes discipline!
Helpful but I think there can be a few other causes of Brain Fog in CFS including metal toxicity
Eileen Burns metal toxity does not exist unless you work im a fk coal mine or some chemical facility. Totsl bs scam
Youre right this is true
Look up dirty electricity and electronic harassment
I used to read a book a week. I stopped and got a bit hooked on computer games. Had horrible brain fog for 3 years now. Maybe you have a point matey.
You just sound like you have a dopamine issue. Yours probably isn't brain fog, it's you can't stay focused because of the dopamine
+Rick Smith id be interested to know what u mean exactly by this. he has too much dopamine?
+Rick Smith what does that mean then? i need to have a detox from things excite my brain? go back to cave man lifestyle for a bit?
Unlucky mate. My best advice is to change your diet. I avoid gluten, dairy, MSG and meat. Headaches are still terrible but I'm much better
Why meat?
Toby, I have a question. Without getting into my history, why is it that some antibiotics clear up my problems temporarily, yet the symptoms (debilitating brain fog) return? Is it possible that antibiotics can be efficacious against non-infectious illness? I'm trying to figure out why this is. Forget about soliciting doctors for this info. I am not getting answers
Look up Dr. Ray Peat
There's several reasons for brain fog- mine was Histamine intolerance, check high histamine foods..............
Is your brain supposed to feel like it's on fire?
I've had some gnarly brain fog for the past few days, currently trying to find ways to combat this.
Producer Andy did u?
That was awesome, thank you so much!!
Thank you for this video!!
Thank you so much. I have a question for you. can drinking an excess of alcohol for a long period of time create brain fog ? I was what could be considered as a raging alcoholic. i was drinking everyday skipping only about 2 days a week for around six months. now i understand that in itself is terrible for your body but i am now worried that this brain fog is irreversible. i have been following your advice on eating well and getting at least a full eight hours but i am still experiencing the symptom's of brain fog. any advice ?
stop and heal adrenal and candidas. Blood test and read bible etc. Deliverance and relax.
thank you Toby, ur video's are helping me so much 🌈
That was great--thanks so much, Toby.

does anyone know a probiotic strain that can treat brain fog and chronic fatigue?
So u need to find a way for your brain to hit Rem for me this is done by pacing. So 1 hr activity 1 to 2 hra rest. I also find that i have to go with my cyclea my cicada rhythm is thrown off by ME CFS so i have to get rem sleep when i can sleep normal not whe. I try to force myself to sleeo
What about if you have slow waves of electricity in your brain and because of that you dont want to do nothing..?
Wow thanks for this!
very informational thank you.
Any success from these tips?
Testosterone in mid range tends to get rid of all my ME symptoms but that quite rare as they like it to be no higher than the lower third of normal range and more often than not its at the bottom of normal range when on TRT.
Mines is low. Maybe it’s causing my depression
Thanks Toby
Sir I easily forget things how to improve it
Any full time student and full time workers dealing with rain fog?
Its 7:11, l cant belive I'm hearing this...still watching ...he started with CFS, serious condition, then he is talking about not even healthy leaving, just pleasant leaving....for those who's leaving isn't pkrasunt at all, and even this is an underestimation. ....well, the video just ended...with wishing good appetite 🙉🙉👹🙉🙉
Will it go away

Try getting a para cleanse. Clean out your gut like chinese herbs are good. I just found videos on how to reset the vagus nerve which is the gut and brain connection. Along with what he is suggesting. Doesn't hurt to try. We have to help each other as the medical field seems to not know or don't care, or both. Years off ones life, spending money, grasping for straws, can be debilitating and exhausting. Prayer has gotten me through, and I'm slowly but surely bouncing back.
My brain fog doesn't even let me pay attention to what he's saying
I have HORRENDOUS brain fog.
Did he just say regulate blood sugar with plant-based foods!?!? 😂 now that was funny! Out!
How about brain fog from the Lyme epidemic .............
Or heavy metal toxicity - e.g. mercury.
or too many bad carbs in your diet
Or electronic harassment / dirty electricity
Absolutely. Lyme neuroborreliosis is real for many of us. Brain on fire is more difficult & complex than basic CFS brain fog. I have both. But he's not here to address the more complex disease. Lyme & other post bacterial or viral infections are so often the cause of ME/CFS/Fibro 😉
Kann mir jemand die Gründe für Brain Fog auf deutsch nennen? Mein englisch ist leider nicht so gut.
Steffen Grund
Nicht genügend Schlaf
Zu viel Schlaf
Schlechte Ernährung (Zuviel Koffein zu viel Zucker)
Stress

basically i am sensitive to light it sucks
I don't know where I am while watching this video
why do you have to say all these great things then say plant based, after 2 years of trying to fix my problems with high quality plant based diet, it was cutting out 90% of plants that all but cured my chronic 10yr brain fog
Managed to cure my pretty severe brain fog by cutting out histamine high foods
@Sai suman Bhuyan it’s a chemical found in foods if you have an intolerance can really fuck your brain
I tried to listen several of your videos only to receive punches in my faces. This time 2:23 this is the longest that was available for me to listen - after two smacks I'm forced to exit😢 I follow many channels and this never happened! Please cut those out😢
