    This was an incredible talk. Gold literally in every single section of the video, luckily I have been applying some of things since I caught up with the "How to Detox Your Mind" video. The last portion about optimizing for enjoyment was just gold everywhere, thank you for bringing that example. I was actually recently watching the video about how J Cole utilizes the Deep Game, and wondering if you could touch on the spiritual aspect of a craft? Albeit, I understand you're aiming for more practical videos at the moment, it did sound pretty fascinating.

    Hi thanks you so much for the talk, it's was really inspiring, I have a question. When I'm play basketball by myself it's feel great but when comes time to practice with my local club I'm really excited to share my passion with others people but I'm very nervous too and it kinda block me, like I'm nervous and don't want touch the ball. I'm not confident. How can I become confident and overcome my fears ? Thanks for your time and looking fordward to your answer :)

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  2 роки тому

      Well, the simple answer is that you just do it. Of course you're going to be nervous at first when you haven't done something before; that's totally normal.
      The other answer is that there is nothing inherently wrong with feeling nervous. It is just your body's way of giving yourself energy for a certain task. It ultimately can transform into excitement and enjoyment, if you allow it to pass through you without resisting it.

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  2 роки тому

      You don't have to force yourself to stop thinking. Whenever you notice you are overthinking, particularly in meditation, just gently (not getting upset with yourself) shift your attention to your breath moving through your body.

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Рік тому

      Ideally you do it as soon after as possible. The longer you wait, the less effective it will be (although it will still be effective, so waiting is better than not doing it at all) - Simon, Team DeepGame

    I have a question coach theres this thung about me that im afraid of lossing how can i shut this down this is really messin my game up

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  2 роки тому

      You don't need to shut it down at all. Just let that fear be as it is. It will pass through you if you don't resist it. In fact, that fear is simply energy, your body's way of preparing you for what's to come.
      I know it is uncomfortable. You get more comfortable with it as you continue to be aware of it. Eventually, it passes entirely.

    Should I listen to music will working out? I usually listen to j cole but is it taking me out of the moment? Do I lose presence?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  2 роки тому +1

      For developing / hyper-focusing on new skills, it's best not to have any distraction so you can focus completely on what you're doing. But during the rest of your training training listening to music isn't a problem if it makes training more enjoyable for you.

    How do you feel more present coach?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Рік тому +1

      Presence isn't a feeling, it's a state. To put it in direct terms, you get into that state by moving into your physical sensations: your breath, your movements (on the basketball court this could mean really feeling yourself running, boxing out, etc.) You can't think your way into this state, you must feel your way into it - Simon, Team DeepGame
