Man, I had a game earlier where my teammates entrusted me to take a 3-point shot to go to overtime... and I missed. I was so dismayed about that acute failure... then I saw this new video. What a good timing, Coach. I'll try to recover from it. Thanks

Keep having that courage to take that last shot. Even Damian Lillard missed so many shots, but that’s what makes him clutch because out of all those shots, he ends up making the most important one. Keep having the courage to take that last shot even if your teammates think your crazy and nature will reward you.

Failure helped me improve in basketball shooting, dribbling but in gaining confidence

It was winter, a cold winter 3-4 month ago. My practices starts every morning at 9 am. I lived really far from the gym, so I had to wake up every day at 7 am to do my morning routine stuff. I never complained about it. So, at the end of our practice we played 5v5, I failed there over and over again, i missed my almost every shot, lots of airballs, losing the ball, I was getting blocked again and again. At some point I started to hate it, I started to overthink my every missing shot. After every practice I stayed in the gym, working on my game, but it not made any progress. I wanted to quit. But I realized that I need to calm down and maybe take a rest. So, in my winter holidays I watched your videos, about mental game in basketball. After time my progress encreased very good. I became the best shooter in our team, I improve my ball handling and finishing. And the most important is I improved my communicating skills with my teammates. Thank you very much for your videos! It really helped me. (Sorry for my English)

I took the risk on a fast break and sprinted for the lay, I got blocked but drew a foul, I missed both free throws though. I released that my mistake was that I was overthinking, fear overtook me in such a large manner that I choked.

The courage you displayed will be extremely useful long term when you're more used to performing in the face of fear. Well done.

Mennnn this video has a really big impact of my life, heres why.......this morning we had a training and my body was so tired cause i have a cold but it wouldn't stop me i know i have a crazy work ethic just for my opinion and when the game starts cause in the end of the practice we always have a 5v5 in the end and the first game i failed and failed and failed over and over again and we lose thi king to my self why am i not disappointed of myself it was like i was accepting every failure to get in on my life and when the second game starts i was distorying everybody even our best pointguard have a trouble time guarding me and that was like a lighting bolt struck into my mind i wasn't hesitaiting on anything i was in this rythm but we still lost it was really funny if i think about it but the lesson i learn is that failure isn't really real if i turn failure in to oppuotunity that would get me stronger why would i call it a failure, thanks for everything

failure helped me about a year ago when i used to go to the park constantly playing against people and traveling or not making a shot and i learned and got better from it

Got contact with my old fri who is a way better basketball player than I m. We play a pick up game(3x3) and I was hella trash really played very bad. But he was playing great. Playing flawless. Every shot he took was perfect . Not only I'm playing bad but also my teammate he was also playing bad. So I said to him dont be scared. Just ask for the ball and shoot it. Don't overthink believe in urself. Oh boy as soon I said that his emotion changed and he started to play very well. He was getting buckets . But me I'm just standing there hustling for a rebound and defending. But one play my old fri (the best player on my team) gave me the ball. And I was being guarded by a 5 9(im 5 11)guy. As soon as I got the ball I felt fear of getting past him. Idk wht to do expect shoot or pass back. So I JUST give the ball back because I was too sacred to make a mistake. I should have try and beat this guy in the paint. he was forcing me left and there was no side defender near. Instead of giving the ball back I should have overcome the fear and beat him for a wife open layup! After watching this vid make me realise everybody make mistakes.(Sorry For My English)
