A very special thank you to Michael for all his time and effort into the making of this video. 👍
Thank you so much Chris- for the trip down memory lane, and such a fun interview!!
Mr Spatola is a beautiful person; he puts the subject/client first. What is unsaid is the trust his clients have in him, it’s no small matter and he should be recognized for that.
Michael is also a great SFX makeup guy. I own all his books and they're so inspirational to me
👋 from France. Thanks a lot Chris for that huge gift and discovery. The way Mr Spatola see and magnify women’s beauty is amazing.
Great video , made it sound simple , sign of a true professional. Would love to see more interviews with different genres of photography. Thanks for making it.
Thanks Chris, Thanks Michael, the state of the Art on both sides, every thing look so simple here ! But we all know how making people photographies is challenging : one shoot, a fraction of second exposure for hours of preparation where everything will never be a detail. Thanks for sharing.
Michael creates gorgeous images, the women look fabulous !!
This is amazing stuff! The best on the subject. And you MUST MUST BRING HIM BACK!!!
it would be my pleasure!
Great video and a very unique look into the process that Michael goes through. I love what really motivates him during his photo sessions. I know that putting this video together involved a ton of work on your part. It was professionally well done and thank you for giving us this!
Thank you Florian! I can talk for hours on this subject, as Chris discovered, and I know he spent tons of time trying to edit down all that footage to something easier to digest.
Well presented and explained. Photos ,amazing and as Michael said, expression of clients faces worth the shoot.
Lovely lighting old school super podcast
Beautiful, he makes women feel confidence in themselves.
I really enjoyed this video Chris - You guys make a great combo. Yes, I should have taken notes but next viewing. He is really an interesting character with a wealth of knowledge provided so simply. Matched yr. style. Very professional with a topic that a lot of folks can really screw up. I loved how he described the impact that he saw in the client's expression when 1st shown the photo.
One of the best video of this channel 💯💯
Many thanks for this!👍That was really interesting.
Unbelievable convo, so helpful and what an insight I got into bodoir (I knew nothing about it)
Great content guys! Thank you! Michael has some great images, nice job ☺
Truly awesome work, thanks for sharing this with us. 👍
An invaluable video for the photography community. Thanks for sharing! Not easy to get someone to smile naturally for a camera let alone.. lol. Anyway, challenge accepted!
I could also tell many stories about low esteem was abandoned.
One shoot stands out, 2 women in their early forties with 5 children. Both had been abandoned by their husbands and physically abused one had a scar on her face and her husband had actually tried to murder her.
Their self esteem was rock bottom and they both wanted to feel good again.
The location was a small waterfall ans stream in an old woodland.
It was not long before the 2 girls were having the time of their life splashing around in the stream like 2 eight year olds.
Needless to say the photos were great and the 2 ladies felt good again.
A shoot that I was a little reluctant to do turned out to be one of the most rewarding that I have ever done.
Thank you Chris and Mike how great to hear you guys talk about this…
Hi, great interview, thanks for both of you.
I've definitely learned something from this interview.
I hope you do more of these interviews.
Regards
This is a very educating "conference like" interview video. This professional photographer seems very passionate about his work. I know nothing about this type of photography, but it is always an eye magnet for me. I must say I feel his approach sounds wonderful. Thank you for showing some of his work as well, it is worth seeing. And thank you for the models as well. Without them (photographer + models) there would have been no magic.
Great video and perfect explanation!
And great to hear that a kit lens and APSC doing a great job! No Fullframe and low aperture lens.
Wonderful 👏
What a great video !! I love the artistic expression of this kinda of work . Thanks for the tips
Great video, thank you
Great topic..❤
What a great video..... thanks guys!!!

Nice interview. Thanks for this, quite inspiring and yes some of us taking notes 📝 🏄♂️🏄♂️🏄♂️
Great video, informative, learnt a lot. Thank you.
Thank You
So excepted to see this come to life
excited even*
Interesting interview. I had never heard of this type of photography. Learn something about people. Thanks.
first of all thanks @pal2tech once again for a great video. Can somebody explain me, the WB trick Michael is talking about (around min. 29)? I didnt get that.
It's a little hard to explain, but essentially you've set the camera to "auto white balance" if you place a gray card in the scene, you can point the camera at it and lock the auto white balance onto that gray card reading by pushing down on the D-Pad. The white balance will stay locked on that until you push down on the D-Pad a 2nd time. I basically do this for every different lighting set up I do. Just a very fast way of getting a good white balance for a specific scene. I hope that helps. I actually learned this trick from a pal2tech video from a while back.
@@LifestyleBoudoir oh that🙈 thanks for clarifying. I actually also learned that from an old @pal2tech video (like almost everything). Just didn't get it in this video. Thank you so much

Does Mr Spatola travel for photography shoots?
Generally, I don't. Everything you see in this video was created in my space. However, I could possibly be talked into it. :)
I have absolutely zero interest in this kind of photography and after many years of subscription to your UA-cam channel I see absolutely no need to subscribe any longer.
Your opinion is yours to keep, so take it with you when you leave.
So 99% you’re fine with and 1% not fine with therefore unsubscribe? Smart.
Those scary free-thinking women! 😂
