My $11.00 Sanda Tank is BRILLIANT for the price! I put mine on a brown croc 🐊 strap and it looks terrific. Fit and finish is quite amazing. I wear mine often, and I own some pretty nice pieces. Just buy one!!!
Very awkward arrangement of the Roman numerals - especialy at VI, VII, VIII. Would irritate me every time I look at this dial - even at the pricepoint. But doood - always appreciate an affordable watch review 👍
Excellent review! For the price the Sanda Tank is brilliant. Quartz reliability and accuracy. The alloy case is a bit of a letdown and the buckle could be finished a little bit better. This watch forced me to learn how to do watch replacements by myself, because the have my watchmaker do it for me will cost more that the watch. If watch breaks it is more cost effective to bin it and buy a new one.
Brilliant review... It is great to see ordinary watches reviewed instead of watches out of watches out of reach. Well thought through, interesting and helpful! Thank you..
They could charge a few more dollars and manufacture it in stainless steel and sapphire. The concept is fantastic, the execution is a bit lacking imho.
At that point it loses its charm for me. As soon as this goes above the $50 mark I'd just go with some kind of Casio. The fact that it's currently $15, unbelievable
This zinc case will lose its charm after 2 months on the wrist. I've been there, and won't buy any watch made of this material. It is just cheap junk. If however the watch case was all stainless steel, I would be the first in the queue to buy it.
@@pzwolskibelieve it or not it's not the case the thing is it is zinc alloy but plated with chrome i've been wearing mine for a year now and it still looks good if you take care of it
Hey mate first time viewer and new subscriber. You make some great points. I bought this watch previously for my wife. Three months on it's still working and she likes the look on wrist. It's not an every day wearer for her but maybe a three times a month watch. As you say keep it away from water. For little money it's accurate and fun.
That's good to know! Hit the nail on the head with that one John. It's the perfect little occasional wear, fun dress piece. You don't get many watches that you can just pick up for fun anymore. I hope your wife enjoys it mate. Thanks for watching and hopefully see you in a future video 😁
just bought one last week… kinda being coerced to during the 11-11 sale - pay $12 for one to get a $20 discount code.😅 So they paid me $8 to “buy” the watch. Anyway it’s a good deal for a good toy.
That's a good question. I have a video out next week on the brand new Casio tank. Tune in to that video and I'll give you my honest thoughts. I'll need some more time with the Casio before coming to my decision
@@TopTierTicker thank you for answering my question. but can you do a quick/general review of these two watches in this comment, I needed to make a quick decision. thank you !!
@@catsuper66 which Casio tank do you mean? The new ones or the older ones with the smaller case? If its the old one, get the Sanda without question. If it's the new Casio tank, I'd say probably get that.
It's june/2024 and I wonder how the plated alloy case has been enduring over time. Any lights about it? Anyone? I'm considering the purchase for the fun of it and have been thinking if - subject to good care - it would survive in reasonable shape for at least 1 year.
If you watch my 'Top 10 watches for $50 and under' video, you'll see some footage of it that was filmed just a few weeks ago. You can see it still looks fresh.
@@TopTierTickerThank you so much for making the time to answer. Upon your confirmation I ended up getting it in SS bracelet for U$ 15 (amazingly close in looks to the Tank Solo bracelet with brushed middle links and polished side links).
I can’t begin to tell you how many imperfections there are in the printing. Just look for instance at the corners of the inside square and how the diagonal lines meeting that square are all different. The four of them. Amplify your image a little and the imperfections abound. Of course, for a $20 watch, it’s actually nice, but to say that there are no imperfections whatsoever is off the mark.
Sweet sold😂 heck, yeah, for this impressive piece, not bad at all,I love it ,give it as gift to someone who's not into watches..woah I'm sure you know what you paid for it,but really good looking piece, for not very much money... great content as always 👍 my goodness ..
I'm desperately looking for a rectangular Cartier-style budget dress watch that does NOT look effeminate for my 19cm wrist. But with only 34mm lug-to-lug this is another pass.
@user-qh1se8fs2x at the end of the day they are both cheap quartz movements. The Sanda wears much better to that Casio tank model, but if you are looking at Casio for being a better known brand...take a look at the new Casio tanks which are more true to size to the Cartier tank. Also better looking then it's old model and the Sanda. Casio Ref. LTP B165
@Top Tier Ticker You have the big and the small, I have both, the smaller Pablo is almost exactly the size of the Sanda. The Sanda has more quality overall, but Pablo has it's charm, lower price, and they always offer an extra battery! 😁
@@Drega84 Oh okay! I watched a review and it seemed the sanda was much smaller. It must of just been the other version. Might have to check out the Pablo at some point too!

Nice little watch. Even you just bought it to wear for one occasion like a wedding, you just can't go wrong for that price! Cheers Kieron 👍
Exactly my thought! $20 for a super fun little dress watch, perfect!
I saw it on Aliexpress and still think is the best most affordable Tank watch to get. Cheers!
I agree. Still wear mine to this day. Love it!
i bought it because this little gem is better than vario reverso watch
I love it because of the 20mm lug width! I currently have mine on a black rubber waffle strap. That shouldn't work but it's awesome
Got mine for 7€, gorgeous watch 👍🏾

This is the larger version, and yes, it suits a 6.5inch wrist... That's my wrist size
