5:41 Great call by Mike Joy & DW on edge for superspeedway racing during a difficult 2001

That whole season felt… weird. Dale wasn’t the first driver we’d lost, but his absence resonated like no other. I think part of what makes racing such a great sport is the drivers, and their attitudes towards it. They lost an all time great, mourned, and strapped in one week later. Then to see Steve win the next week at Rockingham, Kevin at Atlanta, and of course Junior at Daytona in the summer, it was like it felt ok to enjoy NASCAR again.

@@kos9818 So as Dover after the destruction occurred during 9/11. And then Talladega when Junior won his first $1,000,000 bonus which was his more successful achievement he made compared to Daytona.

Ambrose’s final win is the pinnacle of nascar road track racing

Favorite road course finish. Just a dogfight to the end.

One of my favorite finishes of all time for sure. Hard racing, beating and banging, but not wrecking.

I know I said something about Tim Richmond in the comments section of part 1, but “Have you ever?” “No, I’ve never!” Has to be one of the greatest calls in NASCAR history.

What a win for Richmond considering the circumstances. Gone too soon!

No doubt that there was a champion in him had he never got AIDS. Could you imagine what Hendrick Motorsports would be if he were still around? In the '90s alone, you would've had Jeff Gordon in the #24, Terry Labonte in the #5, and Tim Richmond in the #25. That would've been a super team in of itself.

@@nascarfanatic2425man it’s so many nascar what ifs… does Jeff win 4 and sr get 7 if tim richmond and Davey Allison both live …no doubt they both would have got at least one and took one away from them… also Adam petty does he blossom into a champ and take one or 2 from Jimmie Johnson and tony Stewart

@@kbentjg24 It's really hard to say. I am likely willing to believe though that if many of these drivers who got taken from us too soon probably would've likely dropped the number of pay drivers we have in NASCAR nowadays. I am definitely willing to say NASCAR would be in a better position, and their Dam of Legitimacy would not only still be standing, but still be just as strong as ever.

Didn't Sadler win in the Xfinity Series after Cup racing? But I dig the videos. Keep it up

I think his intent was to make this final Cup Series wins, but he kinda messed up in the first part when he posted Jeff Burton's 2007 Ford 300 win on that note. First of all, because that was a Busch Series Race, and secondly, because he would get two wins in Cup the following year. The last of which is in this video.
