Jr and Waltrip are like Bobby and Naughton...shake and bake baby!
Just because years ago his late father and Michael Waltrip had been friendly rivals with each other.
And I love the way Michael paid his own respects to Junior for lots of victories he got.
That Bud #8 was just as iconic as the #3
I agree with you sr and Jr are the reason I started watching NASCAR.
Jr was one of my all time favs
Starting with the 2001 Pepsi 400 is just heartwarming and iconic to NASCAR fans.
Long Live the Intimidator: Dale Earnhardt, Sr. This one's for you. Your son is a champion, in his own right.
Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart worked so well together at superspeedways.
Best superspeedway racer. Being a Larson fan now is so different. All the tracks I’d root for with junior it’s completely opposite with Larson.
You don't know Cole Trickle and Rowdy Burns? Lol
He was really good at Restrictor plate tracks but his Dad Dale Sr was the best. There is a reason why they called Dale Earnhardt Sr "Mr. Restrictor Plate"
And some of that is on Larson. He admits he hates it. I think that is partly why he has never won, he does not put energy into it like he does speedways and short tracks and even road courses.
@@ethanweeter2732 no doubt. I wish jr was as good at the rest of the tracks as Larson is.
Me too after Earnhardts Larson my driver
Jrs the reason I loved Superspeedway Racing back in the day.
But now, I miss watching him on the big tracks more than I thought I would. Haven't had that dominant Talladega/Daytona driver before or since that magical run in the early 2000s.
You got Austin Hill in xfinity.
Jeffrey Earnhardt if they'd give him an opportunity
Never truly appreciated Jr. until I got older. This guy was unreal at times
Dale Jr won 15 plate events points and non points and Xfinity events he ran in from the 2001 PEPSI 400 to the 2004 EA SPORTS 500. I got into Nascar in 1999 so trust me when I say he was in every sense almost unstoppable at Daytona Talladega during this span. Straight dynasty. Hasn't been a plate driver remotely close to being as DYNAMIC or Goat as Jr was during his peak.
Sr
He won 17 at least. 10 points races in Cup, 7 in Nationwide. Think he won 5 duel races, two Bud Shootouts.
Sr was the best. Stewart was 2nd then JR
@@ethanweeter2732 from 2001 to 2004 he won 2 Duel races. I'm talking about Dale Jrs plate peak not his totality of his plate work for his entire career. Just 2001 to 2004
Love to watch DaleJr race. He had the best teacher.
Dale was so masterful at moving back and forth between lines to stall out their runs when he was in the lead. Miss watching him work on on the plate tracks!
Thanks for making this. That was an awesome way to spend a half an hour
All superspeedway for dale Earnhardt Jr
Dale Jr is a legend of super speedway
The Pepsi 400 in 2001 was the only race I’ve ever been to where the fans were louder than the cars.
In my mind.. Dale Jr is the best driver to never win a cup title.. it’s too bad he never could capture that glory.. but I think being Seniors son was a LOT on him
Dale Jr, Carl Edwards, and Mark Martin in no particular order
I miss the order going across the screen
And today you'd hear tv go "and at the line it's Jr."
Dale JR dominated nascar and I know his dad would be so proud of him.
JR was insane at Daytona and Talladega. Definitely learned a thing or two from his dad.
When racing was real .
I was a big dale earnhardt fan and of course became a jr after dales death, I can honestly say jr was the Pied piper definitely at Talladega and daytona my Opinion the best all time at supper speedways (1st DALE JR) (2nd dale Senior) (3rd jeff gordon) (4th tony stewart)
Good go #8 dale Earnhardt Jr and #88 dale Earnhardt Jr
It's stuff like that pepsi 400 win that makes me believe God exists. I mean you literally couldn't script that whole situation.
100%
300 230 200 100
Good video!!!
Imagine having to racs and see the same spot your dad died every lap
He basically admitted on his podcast at the engine for that Pepsi 400 and the car didn't really pass inspection but NASCAR let it slide
Yeah !!!!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
remember the Dale Jr bucket at KFC ? 😊 all of our local ones sold out every day ❤
Go # 3 dale Earnhardt Jr and # 8 dale Earnhardt Jr and # 88 and dale Earnhardt Jr# 88 dale Earnhardt Jr and # 8 dale Earnhardt Jr and #5 dale Earnhardt Jr
Im not his fan but i had tears in my eyes after this race
Great video but what about the 2004 Aaron’s 312? Hear me out. Yes, Truex won the race but it was Jr’s car and Jr pushed him to that win. So Jr won as a car owner.
And in the tandem racing, he pushed Jimmie Johnson to the win
I. Was. Dale. Sr. Fan. I. Cheer. For Dale. Jr. Before Dale Sr. Died. But. I. Became a bigger. Fan Dale Jr. And. Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick and know I. Cheer. For. Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman know
Turn left ⬅️ 🤪 turn left you what's that's 😮 o lord.
This still gives me chicken skin
Minecraft NASCAR gfa5 gfa6 million subscribers dollars like good video
Short list

Mikey had a better car than Jr at the end of the 2001 pepsi 400....if he wasnt the good human being that he is, that storybook has a different ending
The fans reaction to mikey winning that race in 02 was one of the worst things ive seen in NASCAR
he might’ve had a better car but jr wasn’t losing that lead regardless he was unpassable on superspeedways back in the day
@@badlar2192seems like wining the restricter plate races was bigger then the championship during that time
