@@MrMW2nd that car was so clean. The 2000’s silver car was super clean too. Everytime Jeff raced a badass scheme he wrecked unless it was a Pepsi car. Jeff drove a Pepsi scheme it was a guaranteed dub. His Superman scheme was badass too.

Even though he didn’t win another Cup, Jeff still managed to be competitive to the end after Ray left, a huge divorce, being a car owner, countless media appearances, owning a chain of dealerships, and of course the ever changing championship format. Even if the number of titles don’t show it, Jeff may have been the best to ever do it.
This is amazing! There were a lot of videos like these back in the day but a lot of them disappeared. Great way to get an idea of a driver's career, would love to see it for other drivers
Some of my family members hated Jeff Gordon. I respected him and a lot of drivers back in the 90s to early 2000s. That Rainbow Warriors paint theme was a cool color scheme back in the 90s. I loved it. One question. Did that red-orange color get a bit lighter in shade as the years went on (kinda looks like a lighter orange)? Or did it go back to that vibrant red-orange color later, been the same?
I was at a couple of those in Rockingham in the late 90’s and early 2000’s before they stopped racing there in 2004.. I was at the feb 22 1998 one.. was a fun place to be at when nascar was there. Those were the good days of racing. The campground across the road was the place to be during the week of the race. Lots of good memories out there! Nascar has turned to pussy boy racing now! And the rules have gotten out of control! I quit watching when Gordon retired..

2 fun facts! If it weren't for Gordon, Mark Martin would have two championships. Second, Gordon never won another cup after he he divorced Bill France's neice. France rigged the points to weigh against Gordon. "Playoffs" indeed. Hilarious.

He won in the Pepsi alternate schemes but yah it seemed he was pretty cursed at the time whenever they did a special dupont scheme
When you get racer who has 50+ minutes of wins, that's when you know this boy is one of the greats.
