I love your reactions, they are sincere and you have a very good ear... His music, his way of being, the quality of his lyrics are all that goes with it, making this singer an exceptional artist!!! he does not only offer music, it is also art... the language is in no way a barrier on the contrary that he sings with his mother tongue it makes the music even more his performance is beautiful ... they make me want to learn French... it's a wonderful language
His new album 'Multitude' is named like this because of all world influences put into the music. His goal, he said, was that the listener could not pinpoint the song to one country or style, but rather as a mixture, a multitude of sounds. His earlier album 'Racine Carrèe' (Square Root in english) is more upbeat, heavy lyrics but with catchy tunes and beats. If there is one that will be good to listen to, a more dark song from that album is 'Quand C'est'. You must try it. Have fun, greetings from Belgium.
I've never heard this before. I agree with your comments. It was a little quirky but thoroughly entertaining. I loved the instrumentation. Thanks for the reaction.
MAE-STRO (conductor) turn around and you get : STROMAE ......Genious...beautiful reaction, the essence of stromae is already inside you!! Greetings from Portugal
I loved your reaction to all three Stromae songs this far ! It was great to see you be surprised and confused by the first seconds of the first one ... and then immediately love him for it! 💛 His last album ("Multitude") is really brilliant, but so are many of the songs from the album "Racine carrée" as well. I think you would appreciate "Formidable", "Quand c'est" and "Tous les mêmes", only to mention a few ... Looking forward to following your reactions! 😊👍
Ça concerne les travailleurs "essentiels" de l'ombre qui ont du continuer à travailler pendant la période covid. Dans les médias ça parlait sans arrêt des travailleurs "essentiels" et j'imagine que l'idée lui est venue à ce moment là.
Looks like Stromae has achieved this goal to create a feel good song that is talking about all the shadow workers who are making this world go round... and people who are giving them a hard time. There's an earlier song that isn't as uplifting but quite good too, and the video is a live recording : "Te quiero (ceci n'est pas un clip", you'll see there why he's often compared to Jacques Brel : ua-cam.com/video/pfPPc-wHcj4/v-deo.html Sounds a bit like "Alors on danse" but way more intense.
please please also react to an indonesian artist, VANNY VABIOLA.. 🙏 she covers all the divas, not just with the range & techniques, but she delivered the emotions as well.. looking forward to it.. grazie!
You say you don't really seem to like his earlier work. Did you check out "stromae-tous les memes" ua-cam.com/video/CAMWdvo71ls/v-deo.html I feel like you guys would really like it.
