- Welcome to our Stromae Sante reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today we extended our stay in Belguim as we witness an excellent dedication to the people out there that really deserve recognition. This video to us by surprise as we studied the lyrics we thought that this would be a little bit of a sad story but it turned out to be a joyful celebration to a unique uptempo vibe!! This story shows the real heros of our society and for us we are definitely going to celebrate them more!! We definitely look forward to hearing more from this amazing artist as we continue on our Stromae Journey!!

The truth is that many interviews Stromae mentions the music of Bolivia as an inspiration both in this song and in other songs. It fills me with pride that Latin American music, especially the Andean music, continues to musically inspire exceptional artists such as Stromae can be. LONG LIVE LATIN AMERICA
Stromae songs are so powerful. As he says deep or sad topics but always with a very positive music and atmosphere.

I think dancing is such a universal language. It instantly makes us relate to the people portrayed in the video in a different way.
“Santé” is his first song since 2018. It is an ode to those who work when others are partying. A call to respect the apparently invisible who work twenty-four hours a day. What I love the most about the video is that he appears in a few scenes of the whole mv, because the workers are the main focus ♥

I love to see when someone recognizes Stromae talent. His music just slaps, lyrics are deep and as you say always a new experience.

You guys should have a look at the song "Carmen" by Stromae. It highlights our obsession over social media. The song is great and the video is excellent. It's a good thing that you guys read the lyrics first. And of course like anything else he does, it's brilliant! There is something that you guys are not able to see unfortunately because of the language. His writing in incredible. He very often plays on words in such a brilliant way that it has no other choice but to spark admiration. He does exactly that in the song "Carmen" in which he uses phrases that sound almost the same but that carry different meanings. Such example is "C'est comme ça qu'on aime" which means "it's like this that we like ourselves (or each other) and "c"est comme ça consomme" It's like this that we consume" (social media). This is just one example but all his songs are full of that kind of word play. Thank you for another great reaction!

If you want to cover other young belgian artists, you might want to check out Angèle ( who you probably know through a Dua Lipa song on which she collaborated) or Loïc Nottet ( who has a awesome voice / range and is a professional dancer with consistently good music videos. He also sings in English)

Correct. Stromae said in an interview that some of his songs were influenced by music heard in Bolivia. This is clearly one if them. It's what caught my attention and became his fan since. He is amazing!

The beat is Andean folk with some cumbia rhythms inside, so not reggaeton as it starts rhythmically elsewhere but definitely Latin American
For me it's sounds more like capverdian music like Cesaria Evora. I know that Stromae really love her music.
@@riab4852 The charango player, which is the string base of the song, explained part of the composition and how they included Andean folk and cumbia through the charango and the synths. However, the nice thing about folk is that it can also connect elsewhere and bring home non-traditional rhythms that connect us all worldwide. I am definitely checking out the artist you mentioned too!

When I (Casey) lived in Brussels (2009)I had it once it was indeed a great beer. I think I prefer KWAK but still a treat, and definitely difficult to get here 🍻✌️
