I'm sorry but you totally missed the piont : It's in fact a critic about social media as we became addict at it because, even so there is like and friend ask, we end up alone. It's like the narcissus myth's who became in love at his own reflection...
During the time when this video came out, Stromae’s Instagram feed was actually filled with only the pictures that are posted to Instagram in this video, as well as other pictures in the same style that got increasingly unhinged. And he went in on the extensive hashtags as well 😂 so he had selfies of his drawn self in front of firemen working at a car crash with captions like “heroes 🙏🏻” and then used hashtags like “popularpage” “follow4follow” and “like4like”… it sure was… something, hahaha. Also I love the idea that he took a classic opera song (“Habanera” from the opera Carmen) and reworked the lyrics (Hence why the song is also called Carmen).

It very much in the same vein as his staging being drunk in public for another clip. Social commentary has always been part of his stunts which are interesting and do raise questions.

The moral of the story: Don't let social media eat you up and poop you out 😂 Seriously though I don't envy young parents. It's a minefield now. They can restrict phones and tech while the kids are young but at some point they are going to have to use it. And social media is made to be addictive. I miss the analogue days when we didn't even have mobiles and you lived by the seat of your pants😂

The irony is. people, even parents blame about this situation. but its not much different how i got used to with gameboy and even ds. Or even back then when Shooter games was a thing. Sure, there's no application or social media. But there where similar situations.
When it comes to social media, thats because to my thought, some parents are not even try to research some method and try it to their own to keep care their kids. its not about that method is 100% accurate, they dont educate themself. Thats when they just blame it over and over again. its just getting dishonest.
