    My mother who passed few years ago would randomly any time of the day would grab the acoustic guitar and just start singing mostly maori songs this is one of the ones that brought her so much joy qnd pride when she sang it I came here to relearn the lyrics Kia ora whanau for this arohanui

    Aotearoa/NZ is at a cross roads right now. We're shaking loose the fetters that bound us to our colonisers but globalisation and the speed of modern communication and transport means we are inundated with such a clamour of world-views that its more and more difficult to grasp what "belonging" to this land might mean.     what were the commands they used at the beginning? i hear it all the time in the simolar maori songs

      Ka Wiri- means to wiri your hands
      Hopi- means to put hands on hips
      Ki raro- means to put hands to side
      When these are spoken the group will do the action's in sequence.

    This school is Neldon College and Nelson Girls College from Nelson lol. this was just whakangahau at manukorero as we were waiting for the judges to give results.
    And PS this is crusty.. 😂😂 I'm sure everyone else that performed on that day would agree haha.
