Must be xDrive? My RWD F30 does decent on snow though. Can’t get too much angle on some spots, but as long as I have good tires drifting in the snow is easy peasy.

Whenever I drift my BMW my wife starts throwing stuff at me and hitting me, yelling to let her out before I do this kind of stuff. I'm sure it's a matter of technique so I always try different drift styles with her in the car but still get the same result. One day I will master it I'm sure

@@yanalex9125 I have a friend who has a f30 318d xDrive, it does drift a bit but after a while traction control kicks in... thats what my xdrive experience is like in snow :)
@@thomasmetzbauer6570 well, if you'd like to drift a BMW you'll have to turn the traction control off. But then you're on your own. A tip here - if you press the DSC button of the F30 once you enter a "traction mode" where you can slide the car a little bit but eventually the traction control kicks in. If you press and hold the DSC button for 5-6 seconds you'll enter the drift mode. Just make sure to keep your eyes on the road.

The automatic on these cars is not the old school automatic gearboxes. This one (8-speed ZF) is very intuitive. Plus you can manually shift the gears (like in this video).

Yes that's right, turning dsc off, and putting gearbox on manual shifting.You can turn off dsc by holding dsc button for 5 seconds
