Great and reliable review!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your kind comment. I’m glad you found it useful.
I have one of these panels. I have found laying it flat at noon really boosts the output. As the sun moves I chose the angle.
Thats what I was looking for. Thank you. Just got my ecoflow river 600 and I am looking for an inexpensive 100 W solarpanel 👍
I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Great review
I'm living in south of France near Marseille, a very sunny area.
I have an Allpowers 100 watts solar panel, polycristallin (and an Allpowers S700 power station). And the max it can reach from 09h30 AM to 07h00 PM is 60/65 watts too..
Utah Jeff ….. here….. I would suggest laying the panels down flat ….. During Summer months that is a better plan to connect with the Sun ……fall, winter, spring the Sun is lowering the sky and you need the legs
I will give that a try. Thanks for the advice👍
Like from Brazil 👏
I had ecoworthy solid panel that was generating power even in shade but this one I've tried on cloudy day and it shows 0. Kinda dissapointed with it as i do not go camping in sun and alwats look for some shade
I got one with the 600w allpowers generator and the solar panel didn't last 10 minutes here in Australia summer 😢 it bubbled, and would not work
The limiter was your power station. I have the same panel and get 75 watts easily and consistently. FWIW
I do not think that is the case. The ecoflow can take 450 watts easily. I would also add that the ecoflow panel gets upwards of 90 watts but it’s a much more expensive panel built out of more efficient materials.
@@unclebillscamping crazy! But if that's all you are getting we believe ya! We live in Georgia so maybe that's why we are getting better results. Lots of sun.
Great review and bang on. I have this panel and use it with my AC500 watt Bluetti, 8 mil barrel. I live in northern Alberta Canada where the temperatures are 70 to 80 degrees for the most part for summer camping. There are days where it can get into the high 80's low 90's degrees but only for the short term. I get around 82 watts on sunny clear days, temperatures in 70's. I think this supports your theory on hot vs cooler area's for this panel to work better. I have been using this panel for 3 years and will using it this summer again. When I'm out camping I have a system where when I get up in the morning I put this panel onto the Bluetti and only takes a few hours to fully charge it. Now the Bluetti is usually only discharged to around 60 to 70% each day normally so it doesn't take long to charge it. The price was the eye catcher for me. I also have a 90 Watt GoPower suitcase high quality glass panel and at 515.00 Canada dollars that I use with my existing GoPower 100 watt panel on the roof of the small RV, but that suitcase GoPower was pricey but works great. The AllPowers panel was only 169.00 Canadian dollars and that's a bargain for me in my use of solar when camping. Anyway, thanks for the info and take care. PS: I subscribed to your channel as the content looks to be good content.
Thank you for the kind comment. I think it’s a pretty good panel for the money.
Hello Alberta. I just received this panel yesterday .
How do you feel about the allpowers a year later
I’m in Kelowna
I picked one of these up to just maintain my van battery from the cigaret lighter plug
Does it get the job done?
@@unclebillscamping yes sure it’s more than I need
Hi do you know if this will fit straight into the bluetti eb3a thank you
It does come with a multipack of adapters. One of those being an 8 millimeter plug. From the literature I have seen for the Bluetti that is the size used for input so it should work fine.
@@unclebillscamping thank you 🙏
@@unclebillscamping I have a Bluetti AC500 watt solar generator and I have this panel and it does work just fine with the 8 millmeter.
These are bad results. Would rigid ones work better ?
Will this work for bluetti?
I believe it will. It really depends on the type of inputs the bluetti accepts but there are a few adapters that come with it so it shouldn’t be a problem.
You have quite a long extension cable, if you were to shorten this, if possible, then you should get better results, certainly better than 60w in full sun.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will test this out👍
The heat is not what makes a solar panel performed. The photon light transfer absorption is the fact producing the panel efficiency.
Agreed but heat can reduce the efficiency of most solar panels by up to 25%.
@@unclebillscamping Indeed yes but not at 95 F.
У меня такая панель выдаёт 30-35 ватт максимум при чистом и ясном небе. Я очень расстроен этой покупкой. Allpowers считаю плохим брендом.
So it's not a 100w panel at all then ... If it can only produce 63w in optimum conditions its a 63w panel. Seems AP are ripping people off
It’s just one of those things like range on a radio. They give you the numbers for the best possible conditions although another viewer did point out that the length of my cables may have been creating some resistance and lowering my input numbers.
Getting 3 watts out of mine 🤔😐
That sounds like a problem? Have you checked all of your connections? What kind of sunlight are you getting?
@@unclebillscamping ive tried 2 different sets of cables and on 2 different generators this morning, same results 🤔 ..the sun is visible but its overcast here in the UK right now, we don't get many hot sunny days 😂
Solar panels at that temperature range gets as hot as 165° or more. Can’t even touch the panels it’s too hot.
They were a little warm for sure.
