HOBOTECH, thank you for the great review and durability testing. It looks like it just came back into stock, but the coupon code does not seem to be working in the promotion box. Do you think the manufacture will issue a new coupon code?
In the UK, its going in and out of stock. 1 came into stock and I managed to grab it! :) Would be interested to see what you think of the Allpowers 372Wh solar generator.
Beaudens seems to have disappeared. Everything is sold out on the website and on Amazon with no info of restocking and all social media is gone. What happened?
@@rendezvousennewyork5053 the economy is being shut down.
@@JLu20 Yup. Get ready for the ''darkest winter''. The world economic forum's great reset is happening right now. Good luck man. Good luck to you all..
I am a nerd. I watch a lot of tech reviewers on UA-cam. I must say that you are one of the very best tech reviewers on the interweb. So many people are just "unboxers" that show you the features and clearly have almost NO IDEA about the product they are "reviewing". You do a very good job!
Thanks!
Agreed!!
I agree!
the hobotech dude knows his stuff, but it is strange how many uploaders have no idea what it is they are doing, and most of the viewers dont know any better. you would think in the information age......never mind
I bought one of these on the strength of your vid, and man am I impressed. Great panel! Thank you.
You never disappoint! I own the Suaoki 28W and I'm happy with it so far, also own AllPowers 100W folded but not so happy about it and now I'm gonna buy this one! Thanks to you!
Impressive. Thanks for another great article.
I've just subscribed to your channel due to this review, very good information.
Keep up the good work mate 👍
Nice job, good clarity
Wow! That thing of having hot spots on the solar panel with not paralel connection is such an important lesson, thanks man!
Gotta love the kitty ending😂
pretty much ordered right on time before this video and now they are sold out on amazon. and totally gonna sub now
Love the review, thank you.
Awesome review HOBOTECH! Can't wait for the promised review of the Beaudens 384wh power station!
You'll be waiting a while as they work out the bugs.
Thanks for the awesome review!
I’m anxious to get this on order once I locate the mysterious discount code
I got the code late this morning, however it is now temporarily sold out. See my pinned comment.
New Sub..... This is Great!!! Thank you for the awesome reviews!!!
New subscriber! Great job. Thanks 👍.
Hey Tom great video, I love Beaudens, I own several of their solar generators.
Good morning partner, a good tip for new devices in production is the insertion of a tripod with telescopic fittings and brackets to support the plates and fixing clamps on the base, perhaps a system with intelligent search for sunlight, a good upgrades forever .
Just got the similar one from Amazon the 120w panels for $205 including shipping and Tax can't beat that for motorcycle camping!
Great review. Keep it up
Way cool product!
Since I already have the Solarsaga 60, I may think about buying one of these to go with it.
Great review.
I just got my two Beaudens panels in the mail today. I tested them both by connecting them to my Bluetti. One panel got 84 watts, and the other got 89 watts. Not bad for central Indiana!
Fellow Hoosier here....where did you buy them?
Tom, you're too good at selling this stuff! Every time you review something I really want it sells out on Amazon within hours. I got the Beudens portable power station you reviewed awhile back and I thought this would be a perfect match. Hope it's restocked soon.
Thanks. I got the code late this morning, however it is now temporarily sold out. See my pinned comment.
@@HOBOTECH Thanks, I think I had to wait a few days on the power station too, but the code was still good when it was back in stock.
Awesome My Man
Nice channel, with a nice, hyper-interesting subject matter. I subscribed immediately. All good wishes!
Good Morning Tommy...............................and all my Earthly Friends
Really love your review.
What is the gadget used to test the panels? I would love to get one too.
Can't wait to go swimming with my solar panel
Good one Tom...!
Thanks again for an awesome video !
Anyone who invokes Bill & Ted is alright by me! Oh and the review is great too. 😄👍
So when these are plugged directly to a "solar generator" such as Jackery, the generator already has regulating circuitry to perform the function of a solar controller?
Hobotechnology, including such variants like the zenpotty, also the with wonderdul "fold"ing ability you can expect the zenpotty to travel with you great distances. Remember, with hobotechnology We Can Win!
A brief update. collected my Beaudens solar power station from the courier depot today, this is the second solar generator sent, the last one went missing from the depot. Item came 80% charged and ran an EUG led projector for 100mins straight out of the box, item is now on charge collecting free power from the beaudens 100w solar panel, and has completed a bar in 45mins, 11c and bright sunny conditions..
They are in stock now. Just bought one.
ALMOST got the Jackery 60w first. Feewf!
Great job young man. Does a switch exist too auto switch batteries during charge from one to another when the charge cycle stops?
Can you use this only half expanded? (2 solar panels exposed and the other 2 still folded up)
Could this or any other solar panel (preferably 100 W) be used inside a SUV on the dash or against the windshield?
What’s the difference to run one 100w and one 30w should they be run in series or parallel? Both are beaudens {swarey} rebranded..
is it possible that if you ran three of this exact model in series that there wouldnt be an issue? i know your solar knowledge is much higher than mine, but i assumed we are supposed to keep series panels matched, just like with batteries? awesome video like always. i wish i would have invested in foldable panels, my portable glass units might break, weigh a lot more and are not as easily stored and moved around as these foldable units.
It's fine for you yanks having deserts in ya back yard, you can probably generate 100watts from connecting an old spoon up to your battery. Here in the UK we have to cover football fields with panels just to make enough power to light a fart! :P
Can not find it on Amazon, only the 30 w
Good review professor! Looks like a very good panel for the money. Looking forward to Amazon restocking these soon.
Would it make sense to put something like this on a car windshield inside of the car and then connect a fan to it to keep the car interior cooler on hot days? I even thought about putting a cooler in a car with some ice and using a small water pump connected to a radiator zip tied to a fan. With a try or will it be a total waste of time?
Now would be a great time to go over your picks for best power needs now that people are paying more attention.
Can you review the Milin 600w power station and the tishy heri 120w foldable solar panel?
I know this is an old video but I really need some help. I bought the Rockpal solar panel that is the same as the one in this video. I have a Renogy DC to DC charger and I'm not sure how to connect the two together. Does anyone know.
I have an off topic question. Can the yeti 150 run multiple panels? Also what panels can it safely run. I have a lot of other questions, but those are the main ones
I got a Bluetti AC30 300Wh but without solar panels. Can someone tell me how many panels I can run with this one?
Wonderful, very useful resource! Can one mix and match Jackery and this product to equal or better effect?
You can mix, but mixing different rating panels together really isn't efficient.
We're getting the Bluetti AC200P so will need 7 or at least 6 of these to run with it. Are you saying this would not work for me and would I series them or parallel them? (what's the diff?)
What kinds of things is this one able to run, or is it only for charging power stations ?
How is the review going for the 380W Beaudens Portable power generator ? Just did the unboxing and initial review on my channel . Now waiting for the same adjustable load you are using . It’s a shame in Germany I can not order this solar pannels . Thanks for the good work on this clips , you are the only one I was able to find that covers everything I like to know about this producs .
It's broken. Updated model comes out in June. I'll review it then.
This is my first time actually looking at portable seller but I have a question.
Instead of running them in series. Why is there not a splitter at the point at which it reaches whatever device whether or not it be a two prong 3-prong to 4 prong whatever? Seems to me it would be more feasible to do that rather than together so more power would have to go through each.
Can it charge my Ecoflow 370 from the usb C port ? From the usb C port on the solar panel to the usb c port on the ecoflow 370 or with the mc4 to usb c connector from Ecoflow
I have a small generator. This would be great just for a fan and charging my android. Master Yoda may the internet be with u.
Hi I tried to buy a beaudens solar panel but could no find one , so I bought a Dokio 100w folding panel , Can I use this on my beaudens Gens without using a controller? I have a B1502 (150w) and a B3081 (300w ) I watch your great revues i bought the beaudens the extra one as being in Ireland you don't often get two days on sunny weather so now have a spare gen for when the sun don't shine :)
Many thanks for all your great videos and information
Can you review the top solar (tp) panel vs like a Rockpal panel. I really like the durable look of the top panel, but want to get a quality portable panel.
This has turned into my Favorite Channel .. Great Work, Thanks.. 👍
I got the same solar panel. I want to load my ninebot max g30 with it. I am using a step up converter to get 42v. But if i change the amp up to 1.5A this setup goes down to 0.5A fits 21W. At this point I have measured 6.5V at the solar panel. What I do wrong. Is it the setup or have i gotten a faulty panel.
Which one you prefer Hobotech Solar Saga 100 or that one shown in the video?
Rewatching many moons later, it's funny this panel was able to be paralleled but you have to pay a higher price to get the"updated" Rockpals to parallel. I accidentally bought the older Rockpals and i love it😊 BUT it will not pair with the new ones according to customer service😒 they said i would have to buy two of the newer ones if I want a pair
Hobo tech
Thnxs for uploading and sharing this 👍🏻🇺🇸
Micro b ports ? Or is there adapters
No micro USB. You need a USB-A or USB-c to micro USB cable.
@@HOBOTECH awesome thnxs for responding
Is is possible to connect two pairs of these panel, each pair in series and then the two pairs in parallel for 400W total and would you recommend doing this with the Bluetti 150 (1500)
You can run at max 2 in series. I tried 3 and it burned the panel. So 2+2 would work for 400w.
I don't know if ur that good of advertisement but it is currently unavailable. Everyone bought them before I had my chance. Thanks for the review. Hopefully they will get some more so I can get one too.
Seems all of Beauden products are out of stock🙁 Love your videos👊😎
hmm i wonder if it'll create hotspots with 4 of them but 2 in series and 2 in parallel
I tried entering the code on various Jackery products. Amazon said code invalid on all of them. Why???
Jackery is no longer offering discounts on the older power stations. Solar panel codes still work.
hi Tom
so I can hook it to my rv if i have a controller??
Yes.
Amazon is out of stock and not sure if they get anymore
Love my Beaudens portable generator and solar panel. Runs my interior van lights, phone charge and iPad charge for days. Really can’t fault it! Haven’t charged from panel yet, but it’s sunny tomorrow so might give it a try.
Did it survive insults, stares and glances ? Are the panels made in the same factory as the Saluki ? Amazon shows sold out already !
Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..
Hi ! What’s the biggest watt solar panel I can use to charge the 20-volt Go Power Plus (without having to purchase a regulator [?] to protect the power station from getting ruined from too much solar input? Thank You! (I already have the Thunderbolt 15w panel…) Also, I want one like this, in that the solar panel attaches the the power station with a plug in jack; instead of little shocky battery cables! I’m looking for something “waterproof”, that can live outside - including in deep winter cold. Thank You!
Will these work with the Jackery and the Bluetti?
By the way, Did you ever make a video about tires for the roadtrek? On my last two trips that I have taken with my rear tires inflated @ 80 psi as recommended by the plate on the door jam, I have had a near blow out each trip. The rear axle tires recommended are too close to the limit of what they can handle. Actually 2 Lbs shy of the weight and right on the limit for pressure. What tires do you have on? Thanks.
Yes, I have made videos on my tires. I put over-sized 10 ply Cooper AT's on with a higher load rating than OEM. Rides better than ever. The OEM spec as you said was too low for the vehicle.
What charge controller would you or any of the great commenters recommend?
Would it be plugged in between the panel and whatever battery you’re charging?
Thumbs up 👍 I certainly learned something and I'm looking to save some money!
I just checked Amazon and its currently unavailable.
Your Amazon link to this product says unavailable.
How would this work with bluetti 2400 and 700?
Thanks for the great information. Could you recommend a 21 Watt solar panel that I can use while on my bicycle I recently purchased a fox la-21 what would you recommend this?
hobotech.tv/amazon
what do you recommend for a cheap alternative to charge rv batteries?
See my Sungoldpower panel review.
Why did you not show how quick it charges a phone or laptop or USB tourch? How about mulitple items at the same time? How about how quicky it can charge the solar generator?
Thanks for the review. Can I connect this to my Jackery 160? Gracias.
Yes
Yep!
How close are these to the rockpals? Do they charge a bluetti or have problems?
These work fine with Bluetti. Higher (normal) voltage unlike the Rockpals.
Hey, great review. So good in fact that once they were back in stock I got one. Unfortunately they were no longer honoring the promo code. So far the best charge rate I've gotten has been 85w on a very sunny day here in middle TN a few days ago. I'd like to get a longer charge cable to hook this up to my SUAOKI G500. Can you recommend something? Preferably at least 5 feet long.
Extensions are on hobotech.tv/amazon/#Solar-Adapters
Hi Tom, please some information on the RAVPOWER generator's best solar panels setup, I have been watching all your videos on the generator and the solar panels, this one looks the best, but the RAV power says up to 80w, and this can throw over that, so can this one hurt my lil generator? Looking forward to the shipping on the new bluetti, but definitely blew apart my budget, I am getting the best for my generators, as they will make a difference for our family in the years to come, but can't make a mistake, I depend on you, I am still learning.
Thank you Sir HOBOTECH
Covered in my RAVPower 252wh review.
Amazon UK have them in stock, any chance you could get Beaudens to give you some discount codes for over here??
I deal with US and Canadian sales only. Sorry.
Can I charge bluetti a200 with this panel
i,m trying to build a solar powered portable water pumping station, my idea is to use a solar panel , a bilge pump, and thats as far as i have got , would it be better if i went to a lower gph pump? thank you for your advice,, great videos
I have a question, I have the Jackery 240 watt battery, and I just bought the Jackery 60 watt portable solar pack. In order to charge the battery, can I just plug it into the solar panel and set it out in the sun (shading the battery itself as much as possible) to charge, or do I need some other kind of connections between the solar panel and the battery? If this sounds confusing, it's because I am very confused right now. lol
Plug solar panel into Jackery. Profit.
Are these back in stock and will discount code still work?
I wish you would put the price tag in vidoies it could be the factory price or where every you get them. look interesting.
Hi, I was trying to get this hundred watt solar panel is the 10% off code not working anymore?
Nope. Posted last night about it.
Great video! I went a similar route but a little different. Just made a new video about it on my channel. Keep up the great content. You’ve helped me a ton!
i have a question about this and i might sound as if i dont know anything bout these,, i dont,, what do or can you use the solar panels and generator for? this is all new to me? be blessed and safe
See my 10 uses for Jackery video.
Nice honest review!
Dumb newb question, but, why would you run two 100w panels in series and not parallel?
Just wanted you to know I did use your amazon link to buy the Bluetti & a portable panel & some other stuff. The Bluetti had a $150 coupon & I used the Bluetti2019 promo code for an additional $140 off so the discount was $290.00. Thanks @Hobotech
The coupon didn't work yesterday for bluetti2019
Cool!...
