My biggest issue with the SP033 solar panels is the legs. I don't use them. I'm figuring out a way to make a cheap adjustable stand, probably out of pvc. In the meantime I just find something to put under them to prop them up, like empty boxes. I'd like the panel cable longer to have more panel spacing when hooking in series but I have an extension cable so I can keep the battery in a shaded and covered location.
I have 3 of them. Sleep next to one. No issues. Solar charges fast.
Great detailed review, thank you.
I use solar to charge my 2000 battery and at the same time I have my kitchen fridge plugged into my battery. I do this when the sun is out, so I save about 5 hours of peak cost electricity powering my fridge. And I use my 1000 to run my coffee maker and then my toaster. Just saving some money waiting for a complete power outage of my home to use my batterries as emergency home power.
Ha Ha. You sound like me. Its fun to just try and save on not using peak power. Almost look forward to power outages just to use all my solar generators. :-)
Why does the solar bring in more watts versus the Redondo battery on via xt60?
I bought this R600 and the R4000 with the 600 watt solar panel. They work ok but have a few issues. On the R4000 I use it as a large UPS and even when plugged in the 120 VAC the R4000 in random cases will not automatically charge and allow the unit to go to 5% before shutting off. When it works correctly it keeps the battery charged as needed. On the 600 watt solar panel I never got more than 380 watt fro. It. I emailed LO-POWER oh I mean Allpowers and got the run around to take videos and do this and do that. It is obvious they don't stand by their product. The panel also have started wearing quickly on the fabric between the crease where you fold the panel. Their customer service from what I experienced is pathetic.
Which would you recommend the R 600 or The Bluetti EB3A?
They are about the same. I think you can find the R600 cheaper and the R600 has 2 USBC so I would lean toward that if the price is lower.
What is the difference for the upgraded version of the R600?
R2500 iw 2500W inverter and a much bigger battery bank. It is listed with all the specs on their website.
The R600 is defective.. halts charging continuously and loud beep is heard..followed by error 02. I sent my one straight back
Thats too bad. Sorry to hear that. Must have gotten a dud. Mine works fine.
I got the R600 and cannot get the wireless charging pad to work. Any idea ? Should just need the power and dc output to be activated right ?
I had the same problem, try Pressing and hold the usb switch 🤞 worked for me
The DC has to be turned on for the Wireless pad to be turned on.
