Been touring with bigger bikes on my 350 classic for a couple of years now. Away from motorways it’s absolutely fine. All day comfortable, remarkably economical and utterly charming to ride. Done Spain to Normandy, tour of Brittany, tour of northern France and John O Groats to Lands End, no issues at all. 13,000 miles so far, loosened up after 3000 miles. This one will be with me for years.
Sounds like some amazing tours! You're absolutely right about the motorway stuff though. Glad you're loving the classic, especially after all them miles 👍
Good on you that was great! Fantastic roads and that view in the end was bloody brilliant 😃 And great to see it holding its own on the motorway, no problem 😎
Just finished watching your great ride with the bigger machines. I was worrying that my Bullet wouldn't survive with my big bike riding buddies. No worries.
Up until last week I was riding from Mid Devon to London on mine, via the A303 round trip 380 miles a week. Given up now, not the bike too dark and cold. They run on fumes and the most comfortable bike on the road.
Just watching your video. I have just parked my 20 day old Bullet till March 2025, sad . Haven't finished watching the full video but looking good so far. Don't get heated grips, better heated gloves, they heat the whole hand and not just the palms. Speaking from experience.
Just found your channel mate. I have two Enfields plus an old pan. I used to live in Bedfordshire now in Cornwall. I love the roads around Kimbolton area. I do have you tube as well. How do you get on with screen i am thinking about getting one for my classic
Oh blimey, not far from me at all. Yes some lovely roads around here, although I'm sure you have even better roads where you're now. I get on with the screen really well. Although I'm only 5ft 8. So not sure how it would be if you were taller. What enfields do you have?
Bike looks loverly, I bought the bronze classic, seeing yours with all the extras makes me wish I'd of got the Bullet, may I ask the make of the screen, it looks taller than the stock one?
@ forgot to add I’ll be getting a R.E classic 350 soon. I’m 60 now, in my life I’ve owned many, many bikes and covered getting on for 500,000 miles, I now want something, simple, comfortable, reliable and with character, I think the classic 350 fits the bill perfectly as living in North Yorks and being a keen photographer I want to be able to stop wherever I want and take photos, not always possible to stop in a car on the small roads we have up here! All the best, ride safe and don’t get carried away when riding in groups of bikes, I know too well it’s easy to get carried away, lol. 👏👍😀🏍
Thats awesome mate, you've got to love that 350 engine! Does everything I need, and more. Well you definitely have some beautiful roads and scenery for photography. Cheers mate, and yes I know what you mean about riding in groups. So easy, I'm hoping with the 350 that will calm me down 🤣 take care mate and ride safe
@millsonwheels4528 it was okay on some, I found that lorries were trying to kill me on some coubtry roads and it's not very good on motorways, my perspective. Traded her in for something else and at times I miss the 500 for bimbling about roads in county Durham etc
Hi mate Brit immigrant to France chrome red classic rider, great road bud spot on ride I’ve got 8k + km up on mine run in carefully and will hold 100kph all day even 2 up with luggage, perfect around here on D roads and the odd rout national, even a autorout on a good day, looks like you had a good trip 👍 Pete🇫🇷 PS the motor doesn’t really loose up and come into its own until you have 2500km up 😊
Hi mate, I must admit the chrome red classic has to be one of the best of the 350 classic colours, looks stunning. Thanks for the info mate 👍 hope you're enjoying it in france 😊
This is a piece of art. May be this bike is not the best technologically but according to me this is the most beautiful motorcycle ever produced ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Everything is proportional.thie bike can make even Triumph Bonneville T 120 black look ugly.
Castle Donnington superbike store is better also a long way round to see the Peak District, the Peak District is in my backyard so confused about the route planning, but you did cover some of the better roads
I will have to check out that superbike store next time 👍 I think we did that route just to accommodate places we needed to go. Have you an ideal order you would do the route in?

Gorgeous bike mate! Love your channel name. Mills is my surname and I've got a couple of bullet 500s, just love them! Cheers from Tasmania 😎
Thanks mate! Really appreciated, 500 bullet! Love it, bet that proper thumps along!
Great video! I really loved my classic red/Chrome!
That red/chrome classic is beautiful

Blimey! Good effort 👍

Thanks for the advice, I will look into that 😊 hope you're enjoying your bullet

What is the bag on the LHS? And how is it attached to your Bullet? Another pannier rail? Tnx.
Really nice video. Good luck with the channel!
Thank you, really appreciated 😊

It’s the royal enfield touring screen, I think it was about £110. The bronze classic is a lovely looking bike!
Thanks ill get one they look lovely
Your little Bullet did remarkably well. Well done! Ride safe.
Cheers mate 👍
I enjoyed the video. I an in Northampton and know the Kimbolton road well. The Bullet sips fuel and manages the motorways ok.
Cheers mate 👍 yes it really does
Great video, but I feel more like I'm there with you when the music stops. Thanks for confirming it can do motorways in comfort. Sub'd.
The bike looks great ! 👏👍😀🏍
Cheers mate 👍 😊

Toured Scotland a few times on my efi 500 enfield. It can tour but it has limitations.
Nice! I bet that was perfect for the Scottish roads though 👍

@davidbell3016 what did you end up getting?
Comfortably do 65/70. 75mph sometime 👍 but that's after 1500miles of gentle running in

Peak district is one big bikers playground. Itts wonderful pottering through on a RE.
You're absolutely right 😊
On a big bike it's boringly easy. To ride 'progressively' on a smaller bike you have to be more skilled and smooth, is all ;^)
You're absolutely right!!
what is your cruising speed on the highway? looks like a great trip!
when milleage is something, economic 250cc is enough for a ride
Ey up
Nice one, I love the Peak District, but then I may be biased
Beautiful part of the world
What is that accessory on your handlebar, is it a tripper navigation. Can you provide any details.
It's the beeline moto 2, really good bit of kit 👍 I will try and do a video on it
Yours is the most beautiful one of the bikes ;-)
Thank you 😊
Bike went well, sounds nice 👌
Went really well 😊

I agree, it is a good looking motorcycle 👍 puts a smile on my face! 😊

Is there such a thing as a good superbike factory ?
@pggp273 to be honest I've never used one, but seemed decent if you want to look at a wide range of bikes
It’s a great bike I had one did 1200 miles on it from new , now waiting for the new Vulcan S 650 2025..I can understand why people like them..😎
Nice mate! Bet you can't wait!
@ correct not had a bike for 18 months now 🥂
Seen you overtake a car on a RE 350, gasp.
Took alot of momentum and a bit of down hill 😅😂
