Isn't it great when the guitarist sets the amp volume to the needs of the room, not just turn it up to eleven because "the amp needs to breathe, otherwise it doesn't sound right"? I hate when guitarists immediately turn it way up, just because they think they have to. And the drummer plays to the room - mixes their kit via dynamics, not just hitting everything as hard as you can. Great example for today's younger musicians to follow.
@@davelanciani-dimaensionx I played a gig last weekend, standing in for a band's regular guitarist. They didn't mic anything up, so consequently I had to turn my amp up _far_ too loud. Even with earplugs in, my left ear (the side nearest my amp, and the drummer) was feeling the pressure. It's much better to set the stage volume for comfort, and if that's not loud enough for the venue, use the PA to raise the level out front. This also means you can spread the instrument sounds out more evenly.
Just cleared my video watching history and then started anew with this exceptional moment, which I have looped while doing chores. Thanks for sharing this remarkable content with us.
Oh so good love the cord structure original melody so nice thank you for posting this. This improves on repeated listings if that is possible. if I had a choice between Tom Bukovac and Guthrie trap and you and any other monstrous guitar player you would be my go to first all the time.
Loved the tune and Thank You for sharing. "For Me'. ... . +1 for no shaky camera work next time? I don't bob and weave like that when I am watching something and it distracts from the attention I wish to give your performance. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
I get where you’re coming from. Other comments on other songs have suggested a Tarantino vibe. But why ascribe a creative man (from a completely different discipline) as a descriptor for a female musician and artist? This isn’t Lynchian or Tarantinoesque - it’s Molly Miller Trio! Her output speaks for and of itself.
@@mwdrum I’m not lecturing you - no need to be so sensitive to an opposite point of view. I was simply trying highlight that artists of whichever gender deserve to be acknowledged on their own terms and not necessarily in comparison to others. To my mind that detracts from individual creative accomplishment. Nobody refers to Lynch as ‘a bit Dali or Bunuel’. Sorry your feelings got hurt.
エレクトリックギターなのに、アコースティックギターのように繊細に弾くところが素晴らしいと思う🎉🎉🎉
What a treat for the audience! Not too loud, you can hear everything, and three instruments are all that the performance needs.
Man, I totally agree. You nailed it.

@@1man1guitarletsgo Exactly. Not all venues have decent PA systems, so you have to make do with what's there. Not always easy.

yaaaa
excellent trio performance & liked the drumming ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,greetings Renee

Love Molly, she's such an interesting guitarist and there's no chance of getting bored because there's so much variety in the playing. Great trio too.
