Thanks man will def check em out.
gotcha ya. guess that's another clutch i have to consider. i'm kinda torn between spec and ACT. But i still dont know exactly where my tqs gonna be. i gotta get with my mechanic. he'll know
I just installed this exact turbo.. Just breaking in still but its fuckin sickkkk only hit very low boost due to whack old tune and only 750miles on basically everything but sounds good fits good and wit that gtx series it boost so much faster than a gt series
Nice bro your gonna be making some nice power with this baby
Great way to get fairly safe octane/ turbo gains ^_^ . I don't know what I did before I had meth
Shesh!. Ur bud Dario is awesome! U guy's are nuts :P Those are some HIGH HP ur messing with. Much respect
nice man!! i went with the perrin rotated GTX3076r .63 A/R. cobb tuning plano is building my car right now and i should have it back in a week. i went with cp pistons, pauter rods, acl bearing, arp head studs. ect. i think im going to go with the Competition Stage 2 Clutch and ACT lightened flywheel. good luck with your build bro! cant wait to see new vids with it
I cant wait to see ur vids!! how much tq can that clutch handle? how's it supposed to feel compared to stock? what kinda cams u gonna run? stock crankshaft? I think my A/R is .72
next I need to decide on what clutch kit im gonna run. want it to handle the power (obviously) but be able to feel as much like stock as possible. any suggestions?
i know righ?!! hehe ^_^ I cant wait to get it installed. This turbo + Tial 44mm EWG + Okada Coils and boots + NGK 2309 1 step cooler plugs + methanol injection + Grimmspeed EBCS + Omni 3 bar map sensor + custom tune = awesome Daily Driver with all around good power.
I'm in the U.S. Oklahoma
Looks so nice you might frame it on the wall....;) Thanks for the order.
I paid off my car. I got it stock so it was worth 30k. Then I've also put maybe 10k - 15k in mods and tuning/ labor so far. Something like that. WOW, 657rwhp on only 21psi?!! that's awesome. Burnouts must be insane. I cant even imagine what getting used to driving a 400awhp car would be like let alone a 600awhp let alone a car that has OVER 600hp. That's wild.
haha. What I plan on framin are the 1/4 times i'll be able to run with this badboy; along with all the other goodies i'm buying/ bought through you :)
ya, If i ever do come near 500awhp it'll be a long time away. i'm talking years!!. I still need to finish this current build and i'll be lucky to hit 400awhp. I'm only running 91 Octane... and meth hehe. Plus i always get conservative tunes. I dont wanna kill my one and only daily driver. So for now, 400 on a conservative tune, would be AWESOME!. I could play in the streets or on the drag strip
thats the plan ^_^
for now it will be, yes. Haven't touched the motor yet. But my mechanics gonna tune it so it wont destroy my car. I know I cant get the full potential out of this turbo until I build up the motor more.
interesting. how streetable are competition clutches? it came as a full kit?
from what i've heard act has been making chattery clutch for the last 3 years. he said the competition clutch doesn't really chatter much at all after the 500 mile break in
i think the clutch hold's 450 to the wheels. from what i've read the clutch is a little stiffer than stock. i was gonna go with kelford 199-C but my rebuild is going to be around $8,500 without cams and with cams would be $1400 including springs and retainers so i didn't go with cams. there is no reasons to upgrade the crank unless you're making over 600whp.
