Thank You Kate. I just found your tutorials and am glad that I did. I am surprised that people are not hitting like more so that other people can find you.
I would love to see you doing this ona large quilt. I can do a lot on my smaller sample. But, when I have a large quilt under my machine it is more difficult. Thanks 💕
With a large quilt you wouldn’t be continually changing directions quilting the borders. Practice needs to be done in the direction you plan to quilt your border.
I just got this in my feed. You are great at explaining the process. It's nice to have some new ideas, I have been getting board with the ones I know. I will look for more videos from you.😊
You are so welcome. It can be harder to manage a larger quilt. It is important to support it properly, have glider underneath so it can move smoothly, maybe use a suspension system, and work in small sections with the quilt puddles around the machine so it can move within the stitching area without binding.
Hi, This is the first time I have seen your channel. I like the way you explain the quilting. I am very curious as to where you found your pen.. I have stayed away from pens ( or markers) bc they look difficult to use but yours does not. Can you share with me the brand and where to purchase it? Thank you. I have subscribed as I want to learn more from you.
This is a Janome 9450. Janome has a very useful Rulerwork program so setting up the machine is super easy. Other machine can or course do it too but I love my machine’s function .
This is a chalk marker by Bohin. It makes a fatter marker line but erases easily. Here is a link. www.fabrikatedquilts.com/shop/Kate-Approved-Marking-Tools-for-Quilting.htm

Thank you for your kind comment. Please spread the word if you can. It’s challenging to build awareness of the channel but it is moving forward.
One year later and you are still relevant. Thanks. I'll try because you have made it understandable
Great - best of luck!
Love these ideas. Thanks again. Your gentle “it doesn’t have to be perfect, just enjoy” is so spot on.

Just found you. Thank you-great content and such a positive presentation. Please show how to turn corners with the designs. I struggle with that.
There is a border video- you can search for turning the corner I think
very good instruction
