I have a complete quilt top sandwiched but paralyzed with fear about quilting it. I keep watching videos like this to try and gain courage!
You can do it! Remember to just start with one motif or idea and build from there. We have to start somewhere.
@@katequinnoffabquilts Still on phase 'why do I have an inch long skipped stitch? XD The videos make it look so easy, It'll get there just gotta get past stage 1.
Me too!! Just got to start it I guess.
You're a great teacher
Tks Marie
I just ordered the back to back ruler so I'm glad I found this. Thanks
Glad I could help!
Quilters will not be disappointed with these rulers! I so appreciate this refresher. I have prepared several pieces to practice. I’m excited to put my suspension system to work, too.
More great ideas for designs with these templates. Thanks for explaining how to use the back to back so clearly. i think i've finally got it now.
❤LOVE all your tips & info you share!! THANKS Kate!!!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for this tutorial!
My pleasure!
I love your videos. Even though I am very new to ruler work, I have been quilting and sewing since I was 12. I am many many decades older than that now.
You package went in the mail today-thank you for trusting me with your business.
I love the bright bold fabrics in this quilt; the pinks and blues play so well together.
Thanks
Hello from Oklahoma.
Hello there!
Thanks again Kate for all your work and honeys on these videos
Like the templates. So inspiring.
Great ideas. Even if I am not using the exact ruler it give ideas. Thank you.
Hear you and glad to see you
I’m here!
Looks good
You are perfect.
I somehow lost track of time today, so will watch the rerun!
I was just wondering if you have any videos using these templates on your long arm I will be using them on a long arm and I would like to see how they are used. You have such wonderful ideas and have been watching you for several days now every video I can find, but I would certainly love to see some long arm work. Thank you.
I do have a Longarm playlist. That is where you can see me using templates on my Longarm.
❤
lol, I have a love/hate relationship with Kate Quinn. She's costing me a fortune!!!!

Nice machina. Big throat for quilting.
It sure is!
I hear you.
Hi Roxie :)
Hi Kate, Are you using the BSR in this video or just the ruler foot?
All is good here
Hi Pat!!
Jackie from Alberta Canada
Hi Jackie
My fun and fancy set did not include the inset of the oval. Was it missing?
They have changed the packaging since it was initially released so that piece is no longer included.

Kate my presser foot always seems to prevent my material sliding when using the ruler foot. I don't seem to be able to raise it enough. My machine is a Brother.
Can you tell me you exact model and I can look into it?
@@katequinnoffabquilts thank you. My machine is a NQ3600D Brother sewing, quilting and embroidery model.
@@elainem4583 I am pretty sure from the view that your machine is a low shank model. Do you know if you have the correct foot for your machine? The foot should be adjusted to the fabric. If the fabric cannot move well it likely means that you need to shift the foot to a higher position on the presser foot bar and then tighten the foot. Have you already tried that. Also having the feed dogs in the up position can sometimes take up room needed to move. You can also try to lessen the foot presser in the settings although I am not sure if you model has that ability. I would need to check the manual. Have you viewed the troubleshooting video on this channel. It may help some.
@@katequinnoffabquilts Thank you. Love your videos.
