yeah, I think I can agree Cynthia is theSephiroth of the Pokemon Franchise, if only as it comes to be a challenge for the player to overcome, certainly not in behavior and manners, she's complete opposite in those regards.

You know, it's funny. I never actually had any trouble with cynthia. I suppose it's the fact that I started with gen 1, so by the time her Garchomp rolled around I knew how to deal with it.
Yeah man, the drop was perfect. Currently on a marathon through your remixes, haven't heard them before but I actually listened to a lot of pokemon remixes back in the day and this Cynthia one is just so good. Keep up the good work!
For me it was elementary school. I released my Chimchar (*facepalm*), and my cousin gave me a Magnemite. That line of evolution is still my favorite Pokemon line. Edit: My HM slave was not Bibarel, but Suicune.

I was literally just reminiscing on OG Diamond and how awesome Cynthia was and quickly pulled up "Cynthia Battle Theme" on YTMusic and was like "this sounds different.. wait it is different! This is a remix! THIS IS A REALLY DAMN GOOD REMIX!"
Amazing. Cool syncopated piano atop dramatic strings, and the vocals and electronic beats are icing on the cake. Then, the main theme kicks in, and the terror commences. This is a theme for a champion.
I love how the first like 44 seconds is pretty normal...just Cynthia piano with some extra backround stuff....then suddenly the "Remix" part really shines. Nicely done.
OOOOHHHHH YYYYEEEEESSSS!!!! THIS is a battle them! Straight off, I loved the starting piano, and then when it turned techno and really dived into the battle! It sounds like something that could be in the anime, what with the fluctuations of the tempo. I can totally see a Pokemon charging up an attack on the quick portions, landing the attack when it slows down, and then a moment of rest when the music flattens out. This is BY FAR the best remix of this particular song I've ever heard, and I've dug up a LOT. My favorite part is at 0:45 when the music starts climbing, drops off, and then lunges straight into the fray! Another downright-amazing job, Qumu!

Last time I faced Cynthia my only saving grace was an azumarril that happened to be tanky.... Everything else was crushed immediately
