I heard it closed down. Thanks to this video I finally got to see the new 95th redline stop last time I was there it was just starting to be built.
There is still beauty to be found here, in the changing season and the architecture, and even the crumbling facade. It's when your daily activities are impeded upon by confrontations and challenges to your presence on the street, and the occasional violence through mistaken identity or stray bullets, will it make for a difficult living here. A shit hole.....
Friggin Depressing.....
& it was Whitey who Made Life for Most Blacks in Chicago By Not Letting them Move in Good Neighborhoods, that's why You had Unrest in 66 When M.L.K. Marched in Marquette Park, which was White Racist to the CORE & Blacks Couldn't Move in that Section at the Time & Dr.King Fought for Equal Housing in Chicago in 66.
& When Dr.King was was Killed in April 68, it was the Westside of Chicago that was Hard Hit During the Unrest & a Lot Of Businesses didn't Come Back to the Westside of Chicago, which Today Looks Like a Fucking War Zone!
& There were Other Areas that Blacks could Not Live in In Chicago, Due to the White Establishment that didn't want Our Kind in there Lily White Sections of CHICAGO at the Time, it's Changed Now, But Not a Lot Today in Chicago.
@LivingOnLifeDyingfromLife187 Chicago is dangerous though
Chicago's sewer. I was born in this area...sad. However, my wonderful parents pulled us out of here and headed north...Logan Square. Go Cubs!!!
In Chicago for a Doctor's Convention this week. Don't think I'll take the Metra, To Garfield Park, North Lawndale, West Englewood or Woodlawn.
Next you should go to the dangerous Neighborhood on the west side Austin it’s crazy over there
Hello from Russia
You guys want to make america great again too eh?
Mr G in terms of? I love America. Although I was not in it. Charles forever 👍🏻
@@MR_MARRANO it was just a reference to the american lefts claims that "Russia hacked our election" causing trump to win
Trumps slogan is "make america great again"
@AlDelVex america is great because of multiple things. Capitalism, freedom, the constitution, inovation etc.
This is bad but the worst 'hoods here in Milwaukee are just as rough. My friends that live in Chicago always tell me that if I'm on the South side of the Chi that I should just avoid going west of Sox Park. From what I've observed, that seems to be advisable. What's ironic is that Bridgeport on the South side is really becoming gentrified and the real estate prices are skyrocketing. Unless I'm mistaken, this area shown isn't very far from there.
Garfield Park looks a lot like East St. Paul.
Love your vidoes man! You should do one of Hilltop, Columbus ohio
You got balls of steel for doing this. I wouldn’t even want a stray dog/cat walking around these streets shit is insane and sad 😰😶
Nice video bro keep up the work
Always go to the neighborhood at night before you move anywhere in chi the beautiful buildings will fool you the landlord will not break your lease
Heads up!

Honestly, Some of these houses are nice
Cheeto Residue
Not when u go inside very poor and dilapidated
Not to street smart following someone down an alley in Chicago. Rule number one.
He is in the trenches but most of the time people don’t shoot at car driving through allies unless they in the back🤦♂️ def stay safe cuz nigga will think you coop with 12
I dont know the person who made the video, but there were a couple times I watched them take a turn somewhere and thought “there’s no business of being down there”
Beautiful buildings. What a shame that people move in and destroy the places.
You can be in any horrible neighborhood in America and everyone will still have a nice car.
And the church is nice🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
How often do shootings happen in this neighborhood?
I grew up here in the 80s 90s and early 2000s. It got worse when all the older people wither died off or moved. They kept things somewhat intact and we loved our community then.
Charlie im from Detroit bro born and raised @ 2:34 that lets me know you carrying atleast a .45 👌
What does that mean? I'm confused
@@eirod you can hear the gun being cocked
Meaning... Strap Heavy when Rolling through the Badlands of the Ghetto Section of a City!
0:59 left nice architecture
I had friends that stayed in Garfield Park and I went to HS right over at Alraby I’m familiar with part of that area and the MP mall flea market sucks. So is the Jerk Taco Man still open? I heard it closed down. Thanks to this video I finally got to see the new 95th redline stop last time I was there it was just starting to be built.
It look real nice finished and the jerk taco mango a place out south on state somewhere
Looks like a bigger version of Baltimore
NO baltimore is SPECIAL
Nucky Mancini no it’s not
There is still beauty to be found here, in the changing season and the architecture, and even the crumbling facade. It's when your daily activities are impeded upon by confrontations and challenges to your presence on the street, and the occasional violence through mistaken identity or stray bullets, will it make for a difficult living here. But those very elements that create a sense of danger is what makes a drive through video like this interesting, as opposed to, say, a drive through West Los Angeles. CB313, thanks for the clip.
07:30 Your pristine paint job just took a hit.
does chicago world news use your chicago videos or does he record himself driving around chicago
sweet home Chicago
U one brave ass dude to go at night thru Chitown

And sometimes guys play drums on plastic buckets on expressway exits for money, or they occasionally sell bottled water. Decades ago, they used to sell oversized airbrush graffiti t-shirts when those were in style.
WHATS UP WITH THAT BLUE TRUCK AT THE 3:00 MARK?
He was Opp shopping 💥 looking for a target
I knew a lady who stayed on Parkside in North Austin, right off North & Central, looks kinda peaceful around there
Charlie stay safe my dude. These views from these white suburban kids isn't worth the risks..
West Garfield Park is one of Chicago most dangerous neighborhoods 💥
